Survivor China: Ep. 1507 - I am not as dumb as I look
How great was tonight's episode? "I am not as dumb as I look" was the best line so far this season! The tribal council was the best one since last season when Yao Man pulled out immunity out of thin air and shocked the hell out of the other tribe members who were plotting his demise - actually I think that was the best tribal council of all time. Jeff calmly went over the rules for the hidden immunity idol and then.....AND THEN.....tossed it into the fire! Hahahaha! I laughed uncontrollably at those over the top theatrics. You could just see the big smile on Jeff's face as he tossed away Jaime's dreams of winning this game. I am not sad to see her go. We had another week of the back and forth between The Anorexic Girl and The Fat Gambler. I'd really like to see both of them go soon, but I have a really bad feeling that Courtney -like John Robert said- is going to be around for quite some time being she is totally useless. I am really not sure who I am pulling for at this point. I am not even sure I can pull for anyone. I guess Amanda is the lessor of the evils. There has not been a true favorite for me since Terry two seasons ago (or was that three?) It has been a long road with little to cheer for along the way...
Gosh, we laughed with glee when Jamie pulled out that plaque. Too funny. She really is as dumb as she looks. Because a smart person would have pulled out the two in James' pants to compare. Which brings me to my rant. I really do not like the practice of people's private belongings being ransacked. There should be definite rules about that. If I were there, I'd want some assurance that, even in the game, my personal belongings were safe and not to be messed with.
If I were there, I'd want some assurance that, even in the game, my personal belongings were safe and not to be messed with.
Obviously they condone it as I think we have seen this on a few consecutive seasons. The part I never understood is why they did not just take the immunity idol once they found it. This leads me to one conclusion: The producers have told them in a prior "game rules session" that it is perfectly fine to rifle through peoples stuff, but that you can not claim an immunity idol in the possession of another. In other worlds, they encourage them to be slimy human beings by planting the seeds within the rules themselves. The good news is that they really shouldn't have any personal stuff anyways, right? ;)
