This former pro-cyclist and swimmer believes that his natural athleticism, combined with his "life of the party" personality, will get him far in he game. His favorite movie is "The Jerk" and that’s how some people just might describe him. A Brigham Young University drop-out, he is actually very well traveled and skilled in street smarts, previously spending two years in the Philippines as a Mormon missionary, in addition to six years as a cyclist in Switzerland, Belgium and Austria. In many ways Tyson can be brash, egotistical and unapologetic but, oddly enough, he has no tolerance for "know-it-alls" or individuals who lack common courtesy. In addition to, as he describes it, "looking awesome," his favorite hobbies are exercising and sunbathing. Tyson was a castmember of Survivor Tocantins, and was part of Coach's alliance. Tyson ended up becoming the second Jury Member, and got eighth place overall. Will Tyson end up winning Survivor: Heroes vs Villains? Will he have an alliance with Coach like he did in Tocantins?
Personally, I was on the fence with Tyson. There were times when I didn't mind him because he was funny, but there were also times when he annoyed the crap out of me.
I like them giving him a second chance. He definately could be a good competitor as well as be entertaining. Overall a solid choice and allot better then some of the cast.
Tyson is one of the few *** casting choices this season. I found him and Coach annoying and having to sit through another season of the both of them together doesnt sound like a fun thing. I personally think Tyson's spot shouldve went to Shane from EI. Shane is a way more interesting personality to Tyson's media wh0ri$h one. Tyson needs to take that crap to The Real World or something.
I think it's pretty good they brought him back as in he is a true villan. Just as coach and Russell are villans. This is more than I can really say for Randy who just seemed awkward.
I don't consider Tyson a true villain because he seems to go out of his way to rehease his lines. He is a little forced.
I was wondering if Tyson does anything of significance on this season? As in the past he is extremely vocal and is not afraid to say what he wants to. Also him being on the season is somewhat weird but he is definately all star worthy as he and coach were the really entertaining. I think that if you put Tyson on almost any other season he would have been the star. He also controlled that season until he went home.
Tyson looks a lot bigger than he did on Tocantins.
Wow, he seriously gave funny/ truthful answers.
From cbs.com: Tribe: Villains Hometown: Lindon, Utah Current Residence: Heber City, Utah Personal Claim To Fame: “College drop out, ex-pro cyclist, never had a real job... I guess I'm good at quitting.” Inspiration in Life: “My parents, without them I could be dead. I'd at least be homeless and starving.” Previous Finishes: Tocantins: 8th out, 2nd Jury Member Favorite Past Moment: “My hilarious confessionals.” Previous Survivor He Respects Most: “Myself.” Previous Survivor He Respects Least: “Narrowed down to just one? That's impossible!” Why Did He Come Back? : “Free tropical island getaway, an excuse to not brush my teeth and the potential of a fat pay check... as long as we get paid in diamonds and gold instead of US dollars.”
I hope he leaves pre merge just because he is so arrogant.
He was such an *** on his season. Hope he is an early out.
Ew the long hair is not a good look on him.
He is awesome. In that he says exactly what is on his mind and doesn't use a filter for anything. With that being said he probably won't be around very long but then there is always another season of all-stars. Also when he was saying someone comparable to him I think he was referencing Ozzy, or someone like him.
I think he can be witty and funny but I think he takes it to far and tries to hard. He isn't a natural villian.

That sounds like Tyson. One thing is certain with him he brings entertainment. Can't wait for the new season.
