TERRELL OWENS GETS IN THE GAME WITH A NEW REALITY SHOW ON VH1 The Terrell Owens Project is Set to Premiere in the Summer of 2009 on VH1 Los Angeles, CA - January 26, 2009 - VH1 has teamed up with one of the most recognizable names and personalities in sports — Terrell Owens — who will star in his own reality show slated to premiere in the summer of 2009 on VH1. The series follows one of the NFL’s biggest and most outspoken stars, wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, Terrell “T.O.” Owens. In the series, T.O. will be shadowed in the off-season by his best friends and publicists Monique Jackson and Kita Williams as they battle the two sides of his large personality. Viewers will discover that behind all the braggadocio, emotional histrionics, and sculpted physique that is the outspoken media magnet known to the world as “T.O.” — there is also a quiet, sensitive, mild-mannered guy from Alexander City, Alabama…that’s Terrell. “We are thrilled to bring such a great athlete, who is one of the biggest names and personalities in all the world of sports to VH1 for a surprising high octane look inside his superstar life off the field,” said Jeff Olde, EVP Original Programming & Production. Mo and Kita want to help Terrell match all the success he’s had on the field with that same kind of success off the field. Now, after a string of relationships and off-the-field endeavors, Terrell is ready to re-examine his personal life and finally put a plan into action. These outspoken, vibrant women are more like T.O.’s sisters than people who work for him. They will function as matchmakers and therapists and also put their marketing expertise to use and help him make his life off of the field as successful as his life on it! The series is executive produced by Evan Prager and Jesse Ignjatovic for Den of Thieves. Executive producers for VH1 are Jill Holmes, Alex Demyanenko, Noah Pollack and Jeff Olde.
Looks like VH1 is up to it again! I am by no means a T.O, fan, in fact for the most part I wish he would just shut up. On the other hand...his commentary should be hilarious!
I lol'd is all I have to say. Really now? At least he gets out of jail this year but what makes it much different from TI's reality show?
NO!!!!! I HATE this man.
NO!!!!! I HATE this man.
I'm with you RMD. TO doesn't rank high up on my list of professional athletes that I would like to see on a reality show. ;)
Really? Do we not hear about him enough that he needs his own television show so we can see how much of an arrogant ***** he is OFF the field? One of my friends saw him in a grocery store and said he was completely oblivious to anyone else, putting his cart in the middle of the aisle, reaching over others, etc. He wouldn't even sign an autograph for a little kid! I must admit though, I'll probably watch at least an episode to see how it stacks up.
I'm with you RMD. TO doesn't rank high up on my list of professional athletes that I would like to see on a reality show. ;)
I know! It sucks. I would rather see Kobe, Payton, Eli, hell even Iverson.. Never TO
I know! It sucks. I would rather see Kobe, Payton, Eli, hell even Iverson.. Never TO
Ew. I didn't like AI before he went to Detroit, and since he turned the Pistons downhill, I don't like him even more than before. I think I'd rather watch TO than AI...and it hurts to say that. I would like to see a Manning family show, it'd probably be pretty entertaining considering their comedic prowess...

Vh1 will give anyone a show.
I'm with you RMD. TO doesn't rank high up on my list of professional athletes that I would like to see on a reality show. ;)
I am a niners fan threw and threw, i have been since I was 5 years old. I hated him on the 49ers. Then i believe he went to the eagles and he was an idiot there too. Now any football fans no niner fans hate the cowboys, si I am not really into this show. I did however find it very funny when he was crying over the whole Romo/Jessica Simpson debacle. Maybe they should just throw Deion Sanders in and have a battle of the idiots, LOL!!!!;)

You've got the 49ers, Redskins, Eagles, Giants, Packers, and Steelers to name a few.
LOL I love how we are alike. You all guys talk trash but come season premiere your the first ones glued to the television set watching it LOL.Im the same way guys like for example I talk so much trash about how TNA wrestling stinks and I would never watch there shows.Yet when TNA Impact is airing im glued to the television set.LOL just how you guys probably will be watching the Terrell Owens Project.
I know! It sucks. I would rather see Kobe, Payton, Eli, hell even Iverson.. Never TO
If any of those got their own show it would flop except for maybe Eli.
I lol'd is all I have to say. Really now? At least he gets out of jail this year but what makes it much different from TI's reality show?
What do you mean, "at least he gets out of jail this year"? T.O. hasn't been in jail.
If being a giant man-child, ********* were a crime he'd be locked up for life but no TO has never been in trouble with the law (I think the previous poster may have been thinking of Michael Vick)- only the teammates and franchises he throws under the bus and ruins. I am also a lifelong Niner fan - you tolerate him when he's on your team because of what a phenomenal talent (and you remember The Catch II) he is but otherwise he is a lockerroom cancer. This show will fail (because no one likes him - see above - like vs tolerate) I wonder who he will blame for it - agent, producers, network?
What do you mean, "at least he gets out of jail this year"? T.O. hasn't been in jail.
I thought he was in jail but later freed for the dog charges? NVM, I'm thinking of Michael Vick indeed.
Well they have finale released the Supertrailer and this show actually looks interesting. We shall see! The T.O> show Supertrailer

I'll give it a chance but I'm not really a fan of the regular vh1 shows. I only watch the love series and I Love Money.

I found it quite interesting that he got his own show! I have been watching him on the new show Superstars, and I am not that impressed. I will say this though, he is so freakin fast! seriously this guy can run....with his legs and his mouth :) The trailer actually does not look that bad! I swore I would not watch DOL either, but I am hooked! What can I say...Flex is hilarious!
I think this will be entertaining. Its kind of like Brooke Knows Best.I will be watching.
Haha that is so funny, I don't know if I ever thought Terrell Owens and Brooke Hogan could be compared...LOL!
I think this will be entertaining. Its kind of like Brooke Knows Best.I will be watching.
I think it would be a completely different show but I'll still give it a chance.
I think this will be entertaining. Its kind of like Brooke Knows Best.I will be watching.
A funny comparison there..lol. I believe TO will be much more productive on his show than Brooke is on her's. That's just my opinion though.
I am a Cowboys fan, and I have a somewhat liking for T.O...So I guess I'll watch his show...It's funny how his already on the superstars, then after that's done his going to do his show, then we have to watch him play football...Dam T.O is getting a lot of tv time this year lol

I like this show.
I like this show.
Me too! And I'm not really a football fan! My brother is a huge football fan and huge Cowboys fan. I'd heard of T.O. because he was known for attention getting behavior. My bro watches SportsCenter and all of those sports shows, so I would hear a little about him here and there. I think T.O. comes off well on the show, and I like him from what I've seen. I like that his publicists are trying to look out for his love life, but I think they can be a little too overbearing at times.
I think TO seems cocky on the show. I don't think I like him very much.
