Johnny Middlebrooks being dropped from BFANC was one of the worst and most bizarre decisions production has ever made. It's up there with the likes of ghosting people at the airport, completely ignoring the premise of All Stars, and putting MTV vets on USA2.
CML, putting MTV vets on USA2 was like the best thing to happen to the franchise in the past 5 years. It was a brilliant proof of concept of what you need: a mix of MTV vets with primarily Survivor and Big Brother rookies.
If 41-45 can be anything like USA2 and not WC, BFANC, or ROD, we'll be feasting.

It wasn't. The first two thirds of the season was downright awful. The cast is 80% dogshit. There's literally a month and a half where no one goes home. Nurys' revenge arc is great but that's three episodes. And we get one of the worst winners ever.
