I agree with this post and it's the reason why I'm a bit iffy about this format. I feel like it strays farther away from what this show is supposed to be about and what made it good. I want to see actual castmembers not their kinfolk. This show can't really do this kinda format. Not really built for it IMO.

Actually DA, I think you'll appreciate the season a little. It's a return to an even playing field and the focus on social game.

Really? Well if that's the case then I have a little hope in this season. I just hope that people will actually play the game and make moves that benefit them. There are way too many sheep on this show nowadays.

I dont expect that pairing, as of the beginning of this week some people were told it had to be anyone blood related and not significant others. Which I can see that changing, but it would make sense if doesnt and the actual name is bloodlines.
Hey, I said if! XD I'd rather see blood relationships anyway. Apparently a lot of people like Madison's sister?
I do but she is to mature for a reality show lol Tony's brother have more followers on IG than Theresa after only one episode on real world skeletons.

lol that's sad....

Why not?.... I'm sure it could revive the series. People don't watch the shows due to the formats nowadays. I'm sure if they bring a old format, more viewers are welcome.

You would be surprised, formats do sell more than anything now days. A good format that is relatable and a good social experiments attract way more viewers. I will gurantee you seeing rookies vs vets, rookies that doesnt have any connection with the cast pairs with them and well the ruins have a dark shadow covering it over the sue. Those themes wouldnt bring numbers. Thats why even shows like survivor and Big brother are even doing themes.

yes, the formats play a huge role for the ratings. But IMO, bringing back those BIG team formats will be great for REVIVAL, then they can start doing risks like bloodlines. But as a true fan, I'm pretty disappointed about bloodlines being a format, due to the new characters not really being new and have somewhat relations to the ones we know already. If they are gonna do something like this, at least make the new characters NEW.

Those teams formats wouldn't revived the show if they dont have an attractive theme that people can related to in order to attract new viewers. Rookies vs vets or having fresh meat without any bond doesnt work either. I am not a huge fan of the idea, but I do see where are the coming from. I was reading this about how now days they want to do social experiments, intead of just competition shows or reality shows: "When I think of a social experiment, I think of a world that is literally an 'experiment," says Andreae. "What are you trying to demonstrate, and what is the result? If you're trying to demonstrate how to win a million dollars, it doesn't feel much like an experiment. An experiment It's something designed to test people's morale and the laws in which we live and explore an environment in which people are tested to their capacity." ""When we're developing these shows, we're aware of that aspect of the format, and we have to develop certain moments in the format that specifically address potential behavior issues" -Sussane Daniels Bloodlines fits on that idea, since it will test what does these people value more family or money.

But will this really attract viewers? I mean with this show you kinda have to be familiar with the history of the show in order to get the dynamics and relationships that play into this show. How is anyone going to care about these people competing with against their family members when they don't really know any of the cast new or old, big name or no name? I can see people who are fans already of the show watching this but will it  really bring in new ones? Or is the goal just to keep the exixsting fanbase?

lol that's sad....

And funny as **** at the same time.

Maybe David burns (doubt it) from real world seattle would do his return, since he is CT's cousin lol http://remotecontrol.mtv.com/2012/05/21/real-world-seattle-david-burns/

One of the ONLY golden era people I didn't like at all but he's a fresh face I guess...

I still don't know about his format. I mean this show cannot do what Survivor can do. That was pretty **** clear with The Island. And considering the point and nature of this show this format won't seem to work I feel like.

I agree with you. No one else seems to agree lol  but I don't see the ratings being what they are expecting.

But I hope Cory/Marie/Kellyanne are on next season. That would make it for me.

Agreed. But CT can stay gone.

Goes to show TRW is in a way, better than the challenge.

i know plenty of people who watch TRW but don't watch the challenge.

The same way people care about survivors vets going against their family that they didnt know at that time. New viewers hear about family backstabbing each other, even if they dont know them they will tune in. Unlike super fans a lot of ppl dont care where they come as long as its a relatable theme and they see one or two known faces.

I have seen them asking Jay/Jenna if they were a perfect match on ayto or what season of real world Theresa was in.

That made me laugh so hard for some reason.

Wait... People are actually interested in the CT & Diem Chronicles Part XXIV?

Wait... People are actually interested in the CT & Diem Chronicles Part XXIV?

Yep...sorry! Smile

It would be nice.......

It would be in their Best Interest to cast a Team Challenge for Season 27 with Season 19-28 with Wes , Cara-Maria , Theresa ,  and Adam K as the others.

Then for Season 28 , Re-Introduce Ex-Plosion (Ashley M , Cory and Thomas) (If they could get  Ashley C. and Lauren that would be amazing) and Introduce Skeletons (Madison , Tony , Violetta , Alicia , Allysa and Skylar) and Season 31 (If allowed) on a Seasons format.

Why the **** do you like Lauren would be, aside from being pregnant she brought nothing to the table. And Alicia? Really? She couldn't even handle two people disliking her, what is she gonna do on the challenge when a bunch of people dislike her for being a rookie.

The same reason you like Andy **** looking *** Nicole, have a seat.

Alsol, she handled Violetta and Sylvia pretty well with the high road so....

I like Nicole because shed crush a challenge , Lauren wouldn't lol. Lol by the high road you mean running away and not telling anyone where you were for a day.
bro

i never le

ft. i just am not thristy tyo be here every day

What? I meant Alicia lol. She disappeared without telling anyone where she went.
My

bad boo boo please forgive me.

same here and vice versa

I prefer LaToya over Marie, but I guess she doesn't meet the theme?

Wait... People are actually interested in the CT & Diem Chronicles Part XXIV?

I guarantee you, a looooooooooooooooooot of people would be interested in that, but sadly CT & Diem Chronicles ended on November 14th 2014 and unfortunatly it only had VI parts on the Challenge with one subpart on MTV Made.

Wait... People are actually interested in the CT & Diem Chronicles Part XXIV?

Sadly yes.

I have a feeling that next season will be a group challenge or else individual. I think individual would be kind of cool because then you could actually see people backstabbing their blood. I also think if it was a group that was Blood vs Vets Blood would almost get murdered because they would have no clue what the game is whereas Bananas for example does this as his living. I cannot see it being pairs though just because they would then need to make sure that the girls brought girls boy brought boys or girl/guy pairs. Plus with that you would not have as much drama if they had to work together.

Yes Smile And also Abe/Cara.

I think the Bloodlines theme would work best if there was a challenge at the beginning, the winning couple then are the two captains. So say Bananas and his sister win the challenge, the are both captains so they will begin picking their team, when they pick one person whoever their loved one is will be on the other team. Example: Bananas chooses Makeda, Nia goes on his sister's team. Banana's sister chooses Shane (Skeletons) and Tony is then on Banana's teams. Then the eliminations will be team vs team. I think the Inferno deliberation would be the best for this format....

I feel like people are assuming having family there is going to mean BIG DRAMA but I kinda can't see it? I feel like the best shot we have at drama would be family vs. family eliminations, but even with that, I can see a lot of friendly eliminations happening. Unless people are on reaaally bad terms with their siblings/whatever, wouldn't people be happy to see a family member win money? I feel like that would take a lot of the sting out of losing an elimination or even losing the whole thing. There might even be agreements made that a sibling who wins will split the money with the other sibling. That's what I'd do if I went on the Challenge with a family member, and I think it'd be really smart. So basically, I'm not seeing a whole lot of drama created by the family aspect. I can see a lot of friendly competition happening, and less backstabing. JMO.

Inferno or Ruins!

The way I see it, if they have teams vote for who goes in to the elimination on the opposing team, and were to vote for someone's loved one, I'd imagine there would be tension. Like, if people sent Makeda in, I'd think Nia would stir up a storm within her team. That's the kind of drama I'm picturing. It all depends on the format.

By the way, I hope this isn't limited only to siblings. If they do this theme, I hope they include other kinds of relationships. Nothin' wrong with variety.
