The depressing thing about this is even though it's like a fresh meat I doubt we'll ever see the bloodlines on another challenge. They are wasting 11-15 spots just to be one timers. I'd rather have Fresh Meat 3 because at least that doesn't limit their casting pool and also might add some cool new regulars
Its to early to know, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the bloodlines are back after this if the shows continue.
They'll probably do what they normally do for Fresh Meat. Choose around 7 people who actually brought something to the show and make them regulars.
Like I said last time, I totally understand if you take what I say with a grain of salt since I'm new-ish here and I haven't broken any news or whatever in the past. But I can confirm a few things.
1.) Like I said in the other thread, Bananas & Hannah have accepted. So they may not stick strictly to the "blood" aspect.
2.) Nia has accepted. Not sure who her "blood" is going to be.
I'll only watch if Sylvia/Violetta and Cory get on the final cast. If they don't, I guess I'll find something else to do with my time.

Think about what is involved in the process. It's not like BMP is calling people on their list, finding out they are available and telling them they are in. It doesn't work that way. Add into the equation that this time at 1/2 the cast will need to go through the full vetting: background screening, medical, psych profile. After that is finished (it takes a few weeks), them BMP will put together a draft cast from those who have passed -- and sometimes people don't pass -- before giving a proposed list to MTV which has final approval. (For some reality shows, the insurance carriers also have input in cast approval.)
In the past, some a few potential cast members have mentioned on social media their travel plans to certain cities where testing takes place. Has anyone, ANYONE, seen that happen yet; e.g., brother/sister from Phoenix with a pic together at a hotel gym LA? I've not seen anything like that? When we see that evidence, or info from someone telling us they were warned not to post such pics, then we'll know we're close to a casting decision.
Bottom line: Chill for now. Impatience only raises blood pressure for no good reason.
I think we all know this, but you have to be contacted first in order to even take the test and what not to get on the show. And usually when you are contacted and ask to take the test its because you are wanted for the cast-- meaning they have an idea of who they want to cast and while maybe a couple if not more names may change, I think they have a gradual idea of what they are going for which IMO is garbage!
As a fan of this show and someone who grew up with this show, like its my childhood, for the first time in like EVER I'm so disappointed with all of this. Like I want no spoilers because I don't care. I 'm not really gonna watch either because I don't care and Nia will be there too so that speaks a lot because I love her but this is riduclous. I would take anything other than this. And believe or not and I know I'll catch hell for this but I hope it does fail-- MTV as a network needs to go its complete trash. And I hope someone at BMP or MTV is reading this! LMAO

I agree that normal parenting logic would have Robin wanting to stick close to her newborn, but she seems desperately thirsty for another shot. If asked, I think she would jump.

He has been through a lot. I think we sometimes forget the cast members on the challenges are human beings. This man just stayed by the bedside of the love of his life through her entire battle with cancer, never left her side. I know it took a tremendous toll on him too and I also know nothing could have ever made him leave her. It says a lot about who he is as a person, so some of the comments I've seen about how he's not a good person....I'd like to know where that comes from....because of past actions that were not perfect....well who among us is perfect. By the way, this post is not really directed at the "currently not all the time" comment but more towards several people who have posted in the past week or so who have not been respectful in my opinion.
