Off topic but what I don't understand is how challenge gets renewed and TRW doesn't based off of profit. Doesn't the challenge start off $350k in the gutter just cause that's the final payout? Plus plane tickets? How does the challenge generate more profit than the real world. I don't get it.
The way tv shows normally work, the production company makes a deal with the Network for a season. This deal includes how much they will make guranteed and then their could be extra clauses that decide if they get more money depending on ratings.
SO bunim and Murray already got paid for this challenge when they struck the deal with MTV. meaning it has to be a deal worth way more than 350k(or else what's the point if they aren't making a profit). This also means that real world has to produce enough ad revenue for mtv to be willing to drop that much money to bunim and murray.
Bunim and Murray also generate their own AD revenue too, they are sponsored by under armor for one and other companies. YOu see alot of their guys wearing under armor all the time for that same reason.

There's a lot of expense with the RW too though
No way it's nearly as much as the challenge though. 7 people living in a house getting paid to be there compared to 26 plus $100k's in debt to start out
You do realize that the difference in bone density isn't enough to affect things like buoyancy, correct? And that the variance in bone density is greater in different locations compared to different races and ethnicities, right?
every small difference is a small advantage for the person that isnt hindered by this physical issue. someone who is heavier is going to have to compensate somewhere else
and naming off a few olympic swimmer that was black doesnt disprove the generality. on a WHOLE black people will be "naturally" worse swimmers and brandon, leroy, nia, devyn, nehemiah all back me up on that with their own jokes and statements. people dont undersatnd generalities or statistics, 100 people jumping off of buildings doesnt mea EVERY ONE of them is going to die but most of them will. exceptions dont disprove the the probable pattern...the "natural" thing which is to die
look up the statistics for who dominates short sprints and long distance races. east and west africans. so you can see that swimming is "natural" for you but i bet chanda, nia or leroy would smoke you in a 50 yard dash and then tell you "i dont know why this guy cant sprint as fast as me, its such a natural thing to just move your legs"

With the extra cast members on Exes and the Skeleton crap that increased. Plus renovating the house to be used isn't cheap at all...plus they have a much bigger crew they have to pay for a longer period time 24-7

The challenge itself has it's own sponsorships... so does real world actually. CHallenge is sponsored by Gatorade and Underarmor I think and Real world is sponsored by subway. You always see the house-mates in RW eating at subway and you always see the challenge castmembers wearing underarmor and drinking gatorade .
lol Jenna's confessional reaction was so adorable! I think producers might ask her back simply because they love her dumb blonde image. They want to use it for comic effect.

I wonder what this would be like if somebody didn't know how to ride a bike.
Haha!

Theresa is such a whiner.
Is Sarah taking a shit in the woods?
This final is a cakewalk compared to the Free Agents final.
All this puking reminds me of The Cutthroat finale when Emily and Jenn were puking.
Reasons why I love her...Her tweets are always on point

No wonder Sarah's not coming back. Pretty hard to come back from throwing up everywhere and then taking a dump in the woods.
TJ laying into Jay was amazing.
"Does a Sarah take a **** in the woods?" New retorr to a question that has an obvious affirmative answer.
TJ just read Jay and Jenna for filth. I think JJ/Simone couldv'e done better.
Is it really necessary for TJ to sit there and berate them? Just DQ them and be done with it. Seriously.
Jay and Jenna are trending and everything. Got people that don't watch the show wondering wtf they are lol.
