Kyle voted for CT so if he's a leech he's a pretty shit one. He's probably just happy ride the BB/Kamroy group as long as he can, and hoping he'll see an elimination near the end like last time and potentially upgrade his partner
Kyle is basically a floater, essentially the CT strategy and he'll play that role as long as he can before he has to pick a side. He's an effective floater too because most people don't know if they can trust him but they often may need him. He also is a bit more of an active floater, where he tries to get in the mix and either spread disinformation or reveal things about one side to the other side. It's a high risk, high reward strategy. CT is more of a passive floater, content to just sit back and watch lol.
Leroy said in that YouTube video he and Kam put out is that heading into the season, he trusted without a doubt that Kyle would not say his name. So Leroy may be Kyle's number 1 but Kyle probably knows he's not anyone's number 1 and may not be anyone's number 2, so I'm guessing he'll play this middle role all season. It's a different game then he played last season because he was pretty loyal and was Johnny's number 1 so he has the capability to play a loyal game if he wants to. I just don't think he will with Johnny not there lol.
I liked the episode. I feel like this first one their trying to pull in as many non challenge viewers which is why we saw little drama but I'm sure we'll see more of that eventually. If they showed too much I feel Survivor viewers, people tuning in for the "sport" of it (Lolo fans I guess?) would have been turned off and called it trashy if we saw a ton of drama especially the Liv/Meechie stuff. They'll probably edit that in next episode or after that.

I'm not interested in the Meeche/Live/Amber drama.. but I am salty that they cut out strategy drama.. needed to see more of Natalie/Wes/Ashley campaigning and strategizing. We saw clips in the trailer that they edited it out. That's what confuses me because that stuff is actually interesting.

I won't lie. I loved the lack of petty drama. Everything was centered around the game
I'm so proud of Aneesa pulling off that win amongst a sea of powerhouses.
CT bopping right away from Kam was hilarious, but I felt bad for her at the same time.
Production is so smart to have passed on Mark Jansen & Asaf only to have Joseph sleep his way through the first episode. Great casting choice!
Joseph aside, the rookies seem to be an interesting group, particularly Nam & Amber B. & of course Lolo.
Glad not to lose CT or Wes this week, but sad to see Ash go. Wish it would've been Gabby or Nany leaving.
Pretty good premier, but the overly serious covert ops shit is lame. I miss a fun summer beach romp like Gauntlet 2. We don't need to play pretend the cast are actually on a spy mission.
I listened to Kam and Leroy's recap... Kam said if you won any show you're a threat and she didn't want you there but her and Leroy are partnered with two BB champions... She should've just named Natalie by name lol

Yeah, but you are old and not their demographic. If I was a first timer watcher I'd have no reason turn in again.
The premiere wasn't that bad, the cast is great and they had good story's but the true villains are the editors. The cast said there was so much drama they cut out.Are they trying to be a sport now? They take themselves too seriously and it takes the fun away

So stupid. The fights & game-related drama are the best parts of the Challenge. They think this show is some prestigious athletic competition now.

You believe everyone in that demographic only cares about petty drama?

They were scrambling when they picked them as partners. With the twist, who is to say they won't try to go into elimination and switch partners. Also, a lot of people don't look at Kaycee and Josh as true winners but moreso the product of bitter juries.

Agreed. The show has lost/ruined it's identity.
It's such a far cry from the golden era. I get shows must evolve & I'll always be a fan, but its just not enjoyable the way it used to be. The cast & serious tone have majorly impacted the fun factor. It's kinda sad.

Unless we can start people from the golden era or people similar to them having that kind of atmosphere isn't even an option. The current cast can't pull that off.

I feel like seasons with formats with twists and turns usually take the first two/three episodes to get into the meaty drama cause most of it is focused on revealing the twists to the audience.
This wasn't the "best" episode ever but they managed to give pretty much everyone some air time and he show was driven by the game itself. That's all a win in my book.
CT is a **** idiot. He's oathetic. When you compare Kam to many women on this challenge, she makes a good teammate. Her elimination record, her ability to endure a final, and her gameplay. CT didn't want Kam for one reason - I believe he is an undercover racist. And the idiot found himself on the block of the first elimination. Of course production made the switch to change it to a. female elimination day to save CT vs Wes. In that elimination, ct would have lost.

IMO CT is more sexist than racist, he wanted a partner he could control and would listen to him and that is not kam shell always do what she wants to do

lmao--he's racist because he wants to control over his team and not play Kam;s game--lmao

Based on episode 1, what is your ideal placement:
1) Nany / Darrell
2)Natalie / Devin
3)Aneesa / Nam
4) Liv / Cory
5) Gabby / Fessy
6)Theresa / Mechie
7) Big T / Lio.
8)Lolo / Leroy
9)Amber B / Wes
10) Ashley /CT
11)Amber M / Joseph
12) Nicole / Kyle
13) Tori / Nelson
14) Kaycee / Jay
15) Kam / Josh
Omg why Gabby when Tori is right there.
I'm lowkey a minor Tori fan now after just having finished her AYTO season.
Honestly, despite Aneesa winning that first, I wouldn't want her as my partner at all.
That whole slow-mo montage of TJ was campy af, and I digged it.

Stop making excuses. Kam misspoke. It's okay.

It was kind of funny watching Lolo have a fit over being picked last.
It was so boring

So they really edited out Natalie's rant? Lame.

Dom & Colin Podcast is a good challenge podcast to listen to if you're interested in that sort of thing..
Total Madness Premiere was better imo
I thought it was a solid opener. A good mix of old and new.

I think Wes would've lost if he was matched up against CT. I don't know what's going on but he's not doing well lately
IMO CT is more sexist than racist, he wanted a partner he could control and would listen to him and that is not kam shell always do what she wants to do

CT destroys Wes in that elimination. Destroy him.
