On paper I think Amanda/Zach would destroy everyone in a final. Zach is the strongest guy besides maybe Bananas, Amanda is the smartest girl by far/best at puzzles and neither have issues with long distance (don't remember Amanda ever struggling with that but could be wrong). Why did they have to go in :(((

Tbh that's why this whole situation is dumb. Neither one of their friends' teams stepped down and offered to go for them. To me, that's very telling. They had the million in the bag and they threw it away.

I don't think anyone would have stepped in for them. If roles were reversed I don't see Amanda or Zach steping in.

I agree, but then look what message they're sending. They're not going to sacrifice themselves for you so why tf are you sacrificing yourself for them?

Ummm pretty sure Amanda was in last place during the first part of the Dirty 30 purge. And then was behind Latoya (who i love but her endurance aint great) during the last part. Whereas Ashley probably has the most endurance of the girls this season. They arent really performing as much in missions but Ashley/Hunter > Zach/Amanda in a final imo.

That was a sprint though. Kailah won and we know her long distance isn't great.

Fair enough but being in last place in the sprint is not a good sign. Everyone so far is just assuming she has good endurance but she hasnt yet shown anything.

She did well in the running portion of this last mission. She looks like she knows how to run idk lol. I think Dirty 30 was just a fluke but who knows.

So I take it that challenge where they had to run and eat curry and carry the puzzles to solve back in Invasions must have slipped your mind?

the misogynist jumped out in Zach, and everyone everywhere is eating that up smh

Amanda didn't sacrifice herself though... she stood her ground. It was Zach who jumped down without giving Amanda a chance to talk/figure things out once she said she wasn't budging. It was kind of BS that they gave them like 15 seconds to decide. Logical thing to do, as said many times before, would've been to flip a coin, but it was ZACH who's ego was off the charts and volunteered to never give Amanda what she wanted.

I was kinda annoyed by that. I feel like they should have asked to talk about it privately how does one make a decision like that in 10 seconds? I feel like they would have come to a solution if they could actually talk but Zach HAD to step down.

That's the annoying thing. Zach is getting so much praise for being loyal and all the casuals saying Amanda should've given in. Amanda was doing the EXACT SAME THING, being loyal. I forgot that the casuals love women to submit to their master male partners. Frustrating.

And on this board it's the opposite. Zach is getting reamed for being a ******* (which is fine, he is a *******) while Amanda is being lauded for being loyal (even though she was just as much of a ******* as he was in that situation). They both let their egos get in the way of common sense in this situation. They could have easily did a rock-paper-scissors, flip a coin, do anything besides what they did. Both get to save face (which apparently was more important than the million dollars for both of them) without having to go into an unnecessary elimination. I know this show isn't known for having Rhodes Scholars as its contestants, but ****, they both went from zero to 100 on the stubbornness scale without blinking an eye.

I see what you're saying but I don't blame them. Given the scary game these people have been playing all season it didn't surprise me in the least that noone neither team tried to step in.

I sure as **** wouldn't have stepped in. When you see the favorite team having an inexplicable meltdown, you sit back and let it happen. Zach and Amanda going full f--ktard made everyone else's goal of winning the million that much easier.

That's another thing too. Those 2 were one of if not the strongest team in the game. If they're sitting there imploding and sent themselves in elimination I'm not going to stop that. Ally or not.

Well Zach was the one who jumped down and started with "this will teach her a lesson" BS. So yes, imo, he was more to blame. They both were stupid in the situation, but I feel like Amanda wasn't even given a chance with Bananas's annoying *** loud mouth yelling and then Zach just jumping down to volunteer.

Amanda literally said "THERE IS NOTHING TO DISCUSS" after TJ asked who they were gonna put in. So Zach stepped down. So they both are to blame.

Zach was being a pretentious ******* to Amanda, and rightfully so, Amanda stood up to his bullshit.
Amanda just went about it so aggressively that Zach instantly turn off. Amanda can come off pretty grating when she's heated. I'm not saying she's wrong, but neither went about it in a way to foster conversation to convince the other why they think they are making a good choice.
Both were too **** stubborn and too **** aggravating.

i hate the scene with bananas yelling about going nowhere with how the next casts speculation is looking

Amanda was wrong--just like Zach was. It's a partnership even if you hate the other person

I was thinking, and what if somehow Zach/Amanda would have beaten Cory/Devin? Do they just go again against Jozea/Day, or do Jozea/Day also face Cory/Devin even though they’re already out of the game? The whole set-up is just weird as shit and it does make me think that they really rigged that shit and that it was the plan all along because on top of all that, what are the odds that the SAME medallion wouldn’t come off for both teams?

I think Cory & Devin still go against Jozea & Day and if they win, those two teams go to redemption, but if they lose, just Cory & Devin go to redemption. Tbh it was most likely rigged so that scenario wouldn't happen.

Da’Vonne even said on her recap that she grabbed the medallion with her hand and it still didn’t come off. So it was 100% rigged and they didn’t even try to hide it smh...

That's a good point and it does seem weird. I mean it wouldn't be right that if Zach/Amanda had won yet have to go again against Jozea/Day. And what would be the point for Jozea/Day to face Cory/Devin when they had to win both rounds? Shows more of how it indeed was rigged for Cory/Devin to come

Zach wanted to "teach her a lesson" and Amanda wanted to force her will on him, too. They both f--ked up. Stop giving one a free ride. They're both to blame for their demise.

If Day and Jozea were smart they would have thrown away a vote (probably Cara/Marie) and they would have been completely safe no matter what happened.

I hate hate hate him, but he is so sexy.
