Cara Maria was just on a podcast with Sarah/Susie right before departure and outright said her and Laurel currently aren't talking. She mentioned that while together they get along great, but around others Laurel belittles and picks on her. She stated while they were out to breakfast with Evelyn, Laurel was saying insulting things about Cara and belittling her and they got into a huge argument, so big that people asked them if they could leave. She went on to say Laurel told her she needs a break from her and they are not talking and haven't since then. I'm sure they may make up for the sake of the game, but who knows cause Laurel is team bananas and Cara clearly isn't.

I suggest you listen to Laurel and Cara's recent interviews they did about a week before departure. She is very much team Bananas. Laurel outright admits she is team Bananas during her interview with Susie/Sarah. Cara even mentions how Laurel and Bananas talk on the phone all the time.
Who knows how it will play out on this season (assuming Laurels there). I either expect Laurel to be a ***** toward Cara or something like the relationship Tony had being friends with both Devin and Bananas (despite Devin and Bananas disliking each other), with Laurel being friends with both but them 2 hating each other
It doesn't surprise me one bit that Darrell and Bananas are aligned...Darrell doesn't really know anyone else and him and Bananas have always gotten along.
