Curious to see how Paulie still ends up in the US final 4 with the way this ended, he looked like death pretty early on. As funny as it was to see good for him for carrying on, it was clearly a push. BS attempts to say he was carrying extra slack though with Leroy doing the same. Feels like production might have been trying to hand this to someone, what with the penalty, at least even it.
Soooo ****** for Ashley and Leroy, and I don't even like Leroy. What an awful way to go out. I am shocked that Cara/Paulie get it together enough to beat Ashley and Kam in a puzzle.
I'd be soooo mad if I was leroy, Ashley and Kam if I saw the scrubs making it to the next stage after working so hard. Production should have been messy and had teams make a final Tribunal where they voted the remaining people to go to the purge.

And it would've been on brand with WOTW1's tribunal
Jordan never calls out Cara by saying you're the weakest political and social player. He always keeps it about being a competitor. Cara is a whiner. So yes, she does great with avoiding eliminations and getting to finals but her consistency for competing doesn't balance to all that. If she wins it doesn't freaking matter. Good for her. If she loses it just solidifies that more.
I'm so tired of the narrative that Jordan, Tori, Josh, etc. are victims of Team USA throwing their own in when they were on board with the U.S. team throwing Wes in. They started it. How can you be a victim to a game whose rules you set? I hope they get called out on this at the reunion.
This. And if Bananas was there he would have played the game just like Paulie - keeping his alliance safe and tossing everyone else in - regardless of strength.
Of course Bananas would of kept his alliance but people keep forgetting the key to an alliance is having a good alliance for the competitor part too...for *this* show. Bananas would of made sure his alliance had strong people. He could of had Josh, Zach, Leroy, Laurel, maybe Jordan and Tori if they didn't feel threatened by each other. No way that group of people were going to drop the gurney.
The weakest would of been Nany *if* she got that far. He probably would of tried to pull Kam over even because she's a strong competitor.
Now would cutthroat Johnny come out at end of finals if given the chance? Hahaa absolutely. It's a toss up on how to get a win in this game.

People forget that Wes started it by being shady with the Rogan vote during the first tribunal. That's why Laurel wanted him out.
If you think Wes was the only one making alliances with the other team, you're delusional. And that was smart for everyone! Having people on the opposite team on your side is great game plan. Everyone had deals. Wes was just too obvious about it so Jordan/Bananas threw light on it.
Anyway, it doesn't take away from it's stupid to play victim about being voted out from your own team when they did it first. They may have had valid reasons, but it was still the thing that set them off before they really secured the numbers. Pulled the trigger too soon.

If they'd all been smart, they could have made a deal so that everyone got money if they won but then sent the 3 guys and only 1 girl (Ash or Kam at that point) to the second part. Or Zach, Leroy + two girls that they thought had the chance to win.
The biggest issue is they ran with 2 girls + Paulie. If the second guy had been Leroy, I think Cara/Ninja might have been okay, maybe, but Paulie was just too wiped.
If Paulie and/or Cara really cared about their alliance like they claimed, they both could have just let more deserving people go to the next stage.
Still ****** Tori gets purged while Dee gets a free win for doing nothing but whine this whole season
Dee pulled her weight. Your mad because Tori couldn't cut it when it mattered. If she excels at everything better than Dee does, why couldn't she complete the puzzle before her or Rogan or even CT? Doesn't that portion of the purge also include swimming too? What's her excuse for losing to Dee then? She has none. She failed. She ploop ploop flopped. Get some pepper for all that salt you have and get over it already.
I don't even like Ashley or Leroy either and I'm actually heated they don't get to actually try and win. I'm definitely mad about how they've thrown in this "purge." It's definitely not fair and I hope it comes up at the reunion. I know they wanted to do something to probably make the teams more even, but do that shit before the final starts...
A twist would be that the purge makes a new team and compete as the renegades. lol
Oh, that would have been interesting.
I'm still waiting for the pairs challenge where each person competes seperately and then winners of elims get paired together after. I could see some players volunteering or throwing missions to get throw into elim for the chance to swap partners if they started out as like rivals or something.
Paulie should've done the honorable thing and quit. Who knows if one of the other 3 could've made a difference, but him staying certainly didn't help his team.
No sympathy for anyone on team usa tbh. They are all idiots. This format is broken, they won most of the missions, they didn't need to throw in anyone from their own team.

The format provided good drama, so it isn't broken.

Don't get me wrong, the season is miles better because they didn't take advantage of the format but still any logical person should have never thrown in a member of their own team

They didn't but realistically that never would have happened cause there's too many alphas that can't get along.

The format was literally created for this reason. Temptation was too good for them to resist. The format isn't broken. Their mentality was.
Or they should have done it before the final, not after an entire 16 mile leg
Exactly. Or add the times and their performance on top of the puzzle.
Cara Maria isn't elite and never will be
That lie can stop being told
Right? If I was Ashley, Kam, Leroy, and especially Tori.. I'd shoot a huge ** to the producers.
I been saying Tori is better than her, she's proven it all season long. Better physically, better mentally, better teammate, etc.
cara didn't cost them that much time...she had to carry with a girl dead paulie and leroy while kam with 3 fit guys
However she wasn't acting like a champ...all that crying and whining
Ashley was the only one acting like a champ...pushing and calling out everyone.
Zach wanted to loose and Leroy was stong but he should have taking the lead and call out Zach
Still ****** Tori gets purged while Dee gets a free win for doing nothing but whine this whole season
Once again..Cara simply doesnt show up in a final...never ending story

She's been flopping all season
Cara did flopped the whole season..
Last seasons she was geting better and better.since she is with Paulie her confidence went down again.
She now doesn'r even do good in things sge is strong at
Cara and Paulie controlled nearly 90 % of all decisions this season. She had the whole game in her hands. Credit where credit is due.
