It's crazy too because other than Bravo and Housewives fans their still isn't more loyal fanbase than Challenge fans. They will still watch and they don't deserve said loyalty.
Netflix in 1 year of Reality TV programming caused cultural shifts, people on every single platform in 70 countries were talking Squid Games like come on
When I watched The Challenge growing up you could tell it was so fun and it was something you wanted to be part of. Now watching, the fun factor is gone. Prison honestly looks more fun and you can see it on the cast, and it doesnt translate to good TV like they think. You can see the difference in energy on spinoffs. Long BB seasons have the same issue, also why the cast was so much more enjoyable on Reindeer Games.
You remember the times when 10 people were happy splitting 150k and didnt treat this as a career
I can't pinpoint the exact moment this show lost its magic but baby it's gone. Now this mess has turned into a " sport " with these losers waiting by the phone so desperately trying to turn this show into a " career " because they have nothing in life worthy of anything except a **** challenge call
Ravyn baby you get props from me for declining that call not everybody is willing to do it. She's establishing a future meanwhile Big Nessa still ain't finish college just to show up to keep losing
they should alternate between eliminations and purges... might as well wipe out the flops and make the final 4 guys/girl the most well rounded so there is actual competition at the end between all the finalists.
The annoying part about the "sport" is that they only want to half commit. They wanna allow interference in eliminations so that the best doesn't really win. The don't know the art of sitting out to make things fair. They don't have the capability to make fair and consistent rules. So no one buys that it's a true competition show. It's a joke to be honest.
39 could've reached it's full potential if the format didn't encourage safe gameplay.
You can't do that on a cast with little foundation with each other. The politics on WOTW 1&2 were so heavily built around pre-established relationships. If you're working with newbies you have to force them to get dirty. Put that cast on either of those seasons it'd be a lot less interesting.
Kailah does need redemption, but I doubt she wants to commit to a 3 month obligation...
The 3 months would make sense if it was like Big Brother Chile and Big Brother Argentina that both filmed for 5-6 months they cast cracked ppl that deliver drama & they show it
But the challenge doesn't really cast based on entertainment anymore and they ignored most of the juicy parts to show them just talking about the game for the most part. So a quick filming schedule would make way more sense over the 10-12 weeks, they would still be able to make over 15 episodes like they love to do for some reason.
Oh Miss Kailah don't make that serve. My mama has a actual life and career off the show. She doesn't have time to spend 12 weeks in a house being fed rice & beans with portal potty toilets that aren't cleaned
This is a preference thing, but I preferred the earlier missions of hanging on to punching bags over water, climbing ladders, transferring birdseed by mouth, intertube musical chairs, jumping over cars to collect rings, etc. The ones today bore me soo bad, I can't be fooled by slow motion explosions into thinking watching someone do a math puzzle for 10 minutes was fun.
LIGames, Traitors, Bel Air, Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip and some more good shit I don't feel like naming lmaooooo

I feel like if they stick to doubles that's 24 people out in six weeks.
They can finish seasons in seven to eight weeks if they wanted to.
So I'm guessing we're getting a redemption house again... this is gonna be an extended dirty 30
A big issue is the amount of single eliminations.
We had smaller casts and still had two people going. Seasons shouldn't be longer than 13 episodes minus the reunion.

they want 24 plus episodes full of NOTHING entertaining walk me through that decision
They ain't got nothing else to show on MTV that's why they keep ordering these long drawn out dreadful seasons

Looks like she is managing other OF creators/"Models"

FR was 22 episodes and a mess format but we were fed on and off the show.
is this better than being the top 0.1% person at hooters like miss averey?
don't come for me unless I send for you lil h0e
A good cast can overcome a bad format. Now we get neither lol.
Does this mean no shot of her on tc40

Give any cast prior to SLA that format and I promise we could've got a great season out of it.
Kam would've put CT with Amber M in an elimination to get his *** out.
A husband and a career

They used to do daily/elimination the same day--no reason they can't do that now
Big Nessa 60 with no man no career and no babies
