Just based on half hour of him giving half hearted comments? No. Based on knowing about him and the impact he's had especially for the gay community, yes.

I'll be kind and just say the gay community needs to find more intelligent and well-spoken people to impact them.   There's plenty of other gay men and women that would have a better and more meaningful impact.  Sorry

He's by no means the only one and I'm not saying he's Harvey milk or anything but he's done a lot. The fact that a gay athlete can even get a sponsorship like he did just shows how far we've come. How many openly gay professional athletes do you know of that actually play? I don't expect you to understand but his impact is massive.

Explain the impact in an individual sport.   There is none.  He's competing alone.  In a team sport I would understand your point but there's zero impact.  Him coming out impacted the gay community how?   You're right I don't understand.  I mean, impactful things (like Jackie Robinson in MLB or Willie O'Ree in the NHL) regarding race were team sports.   Because it's about acceptance.  What acceptance occurred with Gus?   He actually alienated about half the US population...we'll say 35% or more to be safe.  I played Junior hockey in Canada in the 90s...we were all aware our goalie was gay---no one cared because he was good...that was 20 yeas ago.  If you can play and compete you'll be accepted regardless of anything else...race, ***, ***ual orientation, etc.  It's about winning.  Snowbaording...lol.  Come on

Anyone notice that when Kam was pulling Kailah to go face Kayleigh 1 on 1, Kailah pulled and back and stayed in the room.

Imagine talking bad about a person degrading one another's appearance daily then be fake outraged when a suitcase is thrown over a balcony. The situation was wrong but let's not be hypocrites now

I still want to like Kailah...she needs to pick better friends though.   I mean, dear God does she make awful life decisions

He's an openly gay athlete getting sponsorships for being one. That's huge. Is it anywhere on par with the ones you mentioned, god no. But it's a step closer, no team sports here at least have had an openly gay athlete. They all wait until after they retire to come out. He's made a difference simply by being there. I could care less how he feels politically that's irrelevant to my point entirely, he's a step in a hopeful future. A sign that you dont have to hide.

I don't understand anyone calling Devin disloyal and trying to say he and Bananas were a toss up is completely where Gus lost me. The rest could be chalked up into a difference of opinion on bulling and whos a nice person blah blah blah but when has Devin EVER not been loyal. Spreading a rumor about your sworn enemy is not the same as stealing your partner's money in a final. Spreading a rumor about a guy who hates you is not the same as saying the name of the girl who was your #1 ally at the time (who you were sleeping with behind your girlfriend's back).  Spreading a rumor about the guy you dislike and is not in your alliance is not the same as saying your allies and friends name MULTIPLE times when it is convinient. I could go on but what has Devin ever done to show he isn't loyal to his allies?

Yeah, Devin is a lot of things, but he's not unloyal. At least not to his friends/teammates. He never left the best of impressions on me on AYTO3 (other than being good TV), but he really won me over with his patience and loyalty to Cheyenne on Rivals 3. With how awful some male partners have treated their female partners on the show, the way he went to bat for Chey in the last two episodes of that season was really endearing to me. And he's always been great with Rashida, too.

Fair enough.  He just didn't handle things well.  He should read up on O'Ree & Robinson.  He'd make a much bigger difference if he understood how you make a difference.  His approach didn't reach everyone.  He can't just reach the gay community or those that are already looking to praise him if the goal is acceptable.  Humility is key.   It's necessary.  And you can't draw unnecessary negative attention to yourself.  I hope to see him on a challenge--can't even imagine how he'd handle that environment.  Keep him away from Zach lol

Didn’t folks say Kam can’t think for herself yet she and Cara were the only ones standing against the bs the girls were doing?

Gameplay is different but good try

Just finished watching. Devin is a god. One of my all time faves now. Ending Bananas and Gus' wack last placing Olympic *** in one night. My hero. Wish he shit talked Bananas more.

The whole bullying thing was annoying and even though it was ****** up it was blown out of proportion. I wish Kailah would have talked back to TJ cause that was annoying. He's quiet when others do foul shit but this little thing he feels the needs to call them bullies?

Also funny how Kayleigh quits and TJ is cool with it but attacks Marie and others for not trying or quitting. Cool.

I'm just super super thankful they didn't make Gus compare getting bullied for being gay to this bullshit. I fully expected them to and was pleasantly surprised

Only Bananas would ******* try to say: "if you vote me in, I'll make these next few seasons for you ****"

Like jesus christ, mtv has created a ******* little troll monster.

I'd love for them not to call him one season just so he can have a meltdown.

I would suck at this elimination. My memory is awful... I have to check the time 4 or 5 times in a minute just to remind myself.

When I first found out that Devin sent Bananas home this season, I felt the same way I did when I found out that Beth sent Ruthie home on the Gauntlet 2 (in the dinosaur age): SHOCKEDI have such a lady ***** for Devin now <3

Okay. I would say that Kayleigh wasn't bullied if it wasn't for the bar scene. They alienated her and tried to intimidate her. Not a fan of that. Not a fan of Kayleighs either. She sucks, but what happened to her was not cool.

I'm not going to comment on whether it's bullying or not but all three of those girls (four if you include Natalie) are gutless cowards. Kam was right -- settle your beef one on one, don't gang up like a bunch of ********. Very bad look for Kailah, Britni and Jemmye, that's not how you handle shit in the adult world. And the comparisons to Cara Maria and Jordan, CT and Eazy, Wes and CT, etc., that people are throwing out there suck because those were all one-on-one things. Not 3 or 4 on 1. That's weak as ****.

Do like the Kyle/Tony turning on Bananas plot point. That's how you gameplay. And lol at someone using tonight's episode to whine about politics. Get that shit out of here.

Anyone notice that when Kam was pulling Kailah to go face Kayleigh 1 on 1, Kailah pulled and back and stayed in the room.

I'll say it: I like Kam. She seems a lot more intelligent and with it than most of these idiots.

Lmaooo leroy upset in the corner on that sneak peak

he really was lol

Devin called them village idiots (if I heard him correctly) and they behaved exactly like that. The fact that he kept this hook up or whatever it was as a secret so he can use it later on to benefit his own game is such Bananas' move, and it should've told Nelson that he isn't his friend. His drunken attempts to  justify bullying (for me it was a clasic bullying) on Afterbuzz made him very unlikable and, again, very similar to John. And he did all that cause she voted him in.

It's unbelievable that even after they saw how things went, how pathetic they looked, how manipulated they were, some of these girls are still downplaying their actions, putting blame on Kayleigh, pointing out at things she did on her previous shows (?! that's apsurd! It has nothing to do with this).. Watching it was very uncomfortable, these are adults for ***** sake. You say it's not bullying. Well, what else they should've done to her, beat her up? The reason why this was worse then most of the previous similar situations is cause they mostly were 1 on 1, and it was personal, there was some conflict. Here they went after her almost instantly, without any real conflict. They say they did it for Natalie, the same girl they bashed last week, and probably will next. The only moment they knew they ****** up is when TJ told them (I love he did that), but now they'll find excuses again, like immature people tend to do, especially when they're in wrong. Weak. Pathetic.

I'll say it: I like Kam. She seems a lot more intelligent and with it than most of these idiots.

I agree. She's my fave this season without a doubt

I couldn't be on The Challenge because I would dragged TJ's goofy ***. Has he ever had this same energy with CT and the other men who do stupid shit. What about Wes when he threw CT's bed outside on Rivals.

I couldn't be on this show for many reasons; that being near the top of the list.

MTV sure LOVES putting on this "moral authority" hat whenever it's convenient for them........like they didn't just try to cover up a racist trashbox spewing all types of garbage to their favorite Tom last season (and also finding out that she's been doing it since Cutthroat but we heard not a peep about it until Brandon exposed her some more) & then proceeded to cast her on the very next spinoff, only washing their hands of the monster THEY created once she supposedly hit a producer & stole a golf cart. Like they didn't sit by & do nothing while John and Vladimir exposed their lowkey prejudices on Chey for no real reason on Rivals 3.......like they didn't deliberately cast an entire season for John to "return the favor" to Sarah simply because she did what was best for her game........like they also didn't deliberately try to cover up Tonya's molestation & then proceeded to blame her for why it happened......like they didn't film a season of John/Rapist 1 torturing all the women on some random island one season.......like Tonya herself didn't throw a whole other woman's clothes in the pool, not that weak shit Cara Maria did either.......literally opened the bag and dumped all of Beth's stuff out in the pool then threw the rest of her stuff off an outside balcony. You can literally go on & on about all the bullshit they've pulled over the years.

Get the entire **** out of here. All these PSA's, aftershows, sappy confessionals & shit because of 3 girls tossing a **** suitcase over a balcony inside the house. Has everybody forgotten about The Ruins? Has everybody forgotten about Rivals 1? Has everybody forgotten about the **** Bad Girls Club THAT quickly? I know production hasn't because there may or may not be some making their debut on the next season. Girls were on there literally getting jumped by the entire house, getting shit poured all on them then getting jumped on top of that; getting their clothes completely ruined & unable to be salvaged, **** BGC11 was nothing BUT hazing;******* leaving the house left & right due to the Wolfpack.

^^^ That seems like a huge wall of text lmaoooooo but yeah. They clearly bank on knowing the majority of the people watching this show are dumb as the **** & will either forget all about what they've allowed in the past OR will fall easily for whatever edit they choose to push due to being mentally/emotionally slow. There has been FAR worse to happen on this show & quite frankly WAYYYY too many people in general are acting like some mark *** little******* over this whole debacle......shit is really wild. Lol

Im dead at everyone trying to deflect the hate Kailah is getting on here. The gang up was pathetic and if it wasnt bullying, it was close enough. Kailah was basically shivering once she realised Kayleigh was coming up to beat her ***. You could see the fear when Kam tried taking Kailah to Kayleigh.

Speaking of Kam, she is amazing. I didnt like the whole melissa situation but she made me a fan this episode. Queen Cara the voice of reason too Smile

Kailah did good voting for Bananas, but it was clearly Kyle who convinced Tony. I hate his confessionals but he's playing a great game. And good for Kailah for getting her revenge.

Thank you Devin for eliminating Bananas. Now kindly get lost yourself too. He's trying way too hard to be the new Wes but he is beyond annoying. Once Bananas is out, he's no longer needed.

Legend Laurel in that sneak peak has me dyingggggggggggggggg

Laurel unbothered while Nicole is in tears. #ICONIC

It's too late at night but I'll have more to say later. A good chunk of these MF'ers need a good roasting. Smile

How MTV treated the Camila situation was disgraceful, no question. She should have been booted for that and banned immediately. But overlooking bad behavior in the past is not justification for looking away at bad behavior in the present. The whole "two wrongs don't make a right" thing, or "seven wrongs don't make a right." Also, the world is getting a **** of a lot more sensitive about "bullying" (though I'm not sure I'd characterize them throwing her shit as that as much as the "you need to drop dead" garbage that Kailah was spewing) so shit that happened in the past (Veronica, Tina and Rachel ******* with Tonya, for instance) wouldn't fly today.  The Ruins was extremely bad and while entertaining, a lot of the interactions on that season were unsettling. MTV is definitely hypocritical, but that doesn't mean they're wrong in this instance.

Either way, those three girls were completely in the wrong and acting like *********. I don't think it was bullying as much as it was three cowards who wouldn't step to Kayleigh one-on-one banding together to feel like ******** and just making ******** of themselves. Pretty sure Jemmye and Kailah were also piling on against Melissa when her and Kam were going at it one-on-one. While I thought Kam was being a bit ridiculous there, she at least approached Melissa one-on-one and didn't do the gang-up thing (and told Kailah and Jemmye they were being stupid in this episode).

Also, ******* pseudo-veteran players like Cory need to take notes on what Kyle is doing this season. Dude is conducting a flawless political game, especially being a rookie dealing with complete and total strangers.

MTV/TJ/The cast's reactions to previous things has NOTHING to do with what happened on the last episode. Just because TJ didnt call out Camila, doesnt make what Jemmye, Kailah and Britni did any better. It just makes TJ a shit person. And it makes the editors and those in control at MTV, shit people. It doesnt make what them 3 did any less wrong or significant. And bringing up what people do on another show legit makes me LOL
