Now that I’ve finally listened to all 3 parts i think in the end Kam was a mess with her feelings which unfortunately effected her friendship with Day. It seems like it’s coming from a maturity level of her not knowing how to deal with the Leroy situation so it spilled over into all kinds of relationships. I feel like she wasn’t confident in herself so she had to overcompensate with the lying and such whenever Day told her what’s good. Not justifying any of her actions, but I can see where it’s coming from.
Day is older and a mom so obvi she handled the situation better. Even when you look at how both of the men reacted, Theo was immature whereas Leroy wasn’t. Her main issue is that she expects these friendships on screen to be real and substantial like the whole thing with Nelson. I like Kam and feel that she's a good character for the show but from now on she's gonna get a bit of a side-eye from me. Commend Day for handling that the best possible way.
