The scene of Tya crying after the fight with Theo wasn't even about Theo lmao.... you can hear Jordan say "what'd she say". But production doing a good job making Tya the bad guy and Theo the good guy. Wonder why they aren't showing Theo bringing home the girls that he did ☕️

Sweetie you better give us a bit more details than that :)

I mean Theo isn't a villain or the "bad" person by any means. It's just that production is portraying Tya to be extra and playing Theo when that wasn't the case IMO

i haven't watched the episode. however Tya did admit to that she has cut off guys in the past in one of her interviews.

Wtf the cast is half white & half black, the black cast members just so happen to be more likeable and bearable than the white cast members.

I really wish MTV acknowleged there are other ethnicities apart from Black and white. Wasn't Parisa the last Midlle Eastern castmember, like a hundred years ago? What about Asians, or South Asians? I would die to see a Native American castmember. I just think it's so dumb that everybody is so excited to see "such a diverse cast" just because there are more black people than usually. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great, but I still don't find this cast diverse enough.

Joi was the last Asian casted & this is the first season in years that a Latina/Latino hasn't been casted. I honestly don't think a lot of Asians, NA's, & Indian's audition for this show, I like how they tried to do something different this season by casting more than 2 black people.

that is y'alls opinions and i will hold o to my opinion that Pete and Jenn are cute Smile

I have never been so anxious to see a physical confrontation where one perosn dominates the other. Cannot WAIT until Jenn pushes the crap out of Anna. the way she and Katrina disrespect Peter is unacceptable.

Who was the person who had the R.I.P picture of Anna. i will soooo steal that picture.

Yes, I do agree that their explanation for diversity was to cast four people of African decent, which on the surface level is not very diverse. However, three out of the four roommates of color have substance. For instance, Tya is your not standard, Real World woman of color. Yes, she is Black, however there is a lot of depth to her character (Insecurities, Trust issues, etc). Her situationship with Theo is actually entertaining, because it's realistic in a sense that a lot of people have been in their situation before. Theo is a breakout character for me. He just comes off very real, and authentic. His backstory alone makes you come back every week. Jordan is okay, but you always need a little "Princess" in the house. She's young, hot, and plays the tug-o-war game with Mike. Every Real World season usually casts a girl that fits that archetype, this season she just happened to be ethnic.

Anika is the only roommate that falls flat. Her spot could have been used for someone else. Yes, she is black, but she fades into the background. Perhaps, they should have casted another alpha female to argue with everyone else. At this point, the race would have been a non factor as long as she brought authentic drama. Just a suggestian.

I disagree with the comment about every season needing a "Princess" or someone like Jordan. That's the biggest problem with Real World aside from promotion is that they operate casting like they it's a cliche 90s high school movie rather than getting a cast full of people with substance.

Trust me, I agree with you, but that was not the stance I was trying to take on my previous statement.

I was just making the point that Jordan falls into the "Princess" role this season, and that  particular archetype was filled by a person of color (Which is not  how MTV casts that particular "Character"). It was not to disagree or agree with archetypes in general.

i like Tyara and i do agree that she has some trust issues. but am i the only one who was cringing when she had that moment on the beach where she was like "lets write what we're passionate about and throw it into the bonfire!!"" like that seemed so FORCED and usually when someone throws a piece of paper into the fire i think of it as letting something that holds you back in life. at least from what i can recall from high school.

The only people casted who don't have substance are Mike & Peter.

Not everyone in real life struggles, Jordan lived a privileged life but maybe her going on here will take her out of her comfort bubble and allow her to grow as person.

Mike and Peter don't have substance but I also don't think Robbie, Katrina, and Jordan shouldn't have been cast either. I feel like they were picked because they are attractive and then production overhyped the issues they have with their "Bad Blood".

You don't have to have struggles but for this season they should have chosen people with actual Bad Blood like all it took for Jordan and Lana to make up was for the right song to come on and they started twerking.

I actually think Peter (despite disliking him a lot) and Katrina does have some substance to them.

I stated this on another thread, but they should have done this season without the exes. The dynamic between the 2 pairs are flat out boring, plus how many time we have seen the same repetitive crap about the exes on this franchise.

Katrina and Anna have a bit of substance with the rape situation but I don't see their issues reaching a place of growth because Anna will cave to be accepted by Katrina. Didn't you say there was another sister PinkRose? If so they should've used her. I also agree that Exes are just boring at this point.

That sister doesnt meet the age requirements.

They should've cast a hood girl who has beef with another girl who is equally as ratchet so we could've had the female version of Theo v.s. Kassius lmao

I don't think siblings is a good idea for shows like this either because I've notice with Anna and Katrina, Bruno and Briah, or even the sister season of Bad Girls Club is that they end up in drama with other people in the house and they focus so much on that instead of actual handling the issues with each other. I just feel like once Anna feuds with Jenn all her issues with Katrina won't matter since Katrina will come to the rescue when she's go flying after Jenn pushes her.

Theo hit Kass with that "swerve" so quick.

That is very true! Their "Bad Blood" sitautions were a stretch.

He is truly not ******* with Kass at all lmaooo I could tell when they were outside talking. You could see it in his body language like "why is this n***a talking to me?"

I wish Orlana was an original instead of Jordan. I think there wouldn't have been any petty drama in the beginning if that happened.

I cringed too. Just like when the 2 trailers came out and Jordan lol up on Mike's **** or lack thereof
