I think he'll be on. Like a year ago he was ehh about survivor 50 but in the past few months if someone asks him about it he always says he'll like to be back. If he's on we'll know quick since someone will have to take place for him in his podcasts.... it's good exposure for the podcast since he'll be able to talk about the new era for years to come.
I don't even know why Rob would want to come back tbh, he's got a good thing going with his podcast and this disrupts that for a season, plus is he really gonna want to make enemies with fellow alumni and potentially affect his ability to get certain guests?

he will have employees fill in for him for that season... yeah he will miss a season but now he'll have knowledge and stories to talk about for the next 20 years. It's definitely a win in the long haul. Not to mention the promo for the podcast and the appearance fee just to show. Even if he flops he's already done that before so he gets to go home quick to his wife and kids. There's really no negatives not to go. He played 20 years ago and the game is so different now and his job is him talking like even if he's there for 3 days it's priceless
