Well Emily and Johnny are each a member of one of the top 3 teams, it is possible they both went home with some money.

I think it was already stated it's common practice for the Real World/reality TV, I think the tests don't imply anything about the format.

And I dont think Ev would miss a duel, I think the cast especially the vets have an idea of whats going on before getting there. They may do an individual concept with it having something to do with hookups. But it might be teams because they're going home in 2s, I'm still surprised we havent seen any girls yet, unless they were Robin/Cara or the unknown people. And Wes' timing is a bit odd but I dont think he got injured cause as soon as he came back he tweeted his friends saying he wants to go clubbing, or w/e a harpos and brooksider is.

Nothing surprises me with Mark, so if he and Johnny had so angle to split winnings, it shouldn't be news. He's done it before. Paula has a way to garner pity at these reunion shows, and yet her malicious behavior is always overlooked. CT sticking up for Paula is so noble,actually dumb, but he isn't that stupid or agressive enough to run up on Ty. He'd get smashed. He can pull that crap with Adam, Davis, or the little slim kids, but he knows better no matter how juiced up he is. CT talks about Abram, and people are so quick to discard Abram as a spot light hog, but lately he has done everything for show and honestly is a shell of who he once was. I'm just glad that this season MTV was able to a large degree to sift out crap like an overdramatic Camila, Paula, and others who crave attention on these shows and used these antics as fodder material as opposed to being on the show.

I like the idea of this challenge possibly being based on past hookups. Unfortunately this wasn't done some years ago when there seemed to be a few more actual relationships/hookups that seemed more interesting (IMO). I don't think it just has to be a pair thing, either. Maybe they could have something like have one of each from a past hookup be a captain of an opposite team for a day, or set up missions so that people who were involved with each other have to work together in some way that might test them, but still not be in permanent partnerships. I don't know. Just throwing something else out there. But I haven't been sold on the idea that it has to be duo teams. I am stumped by Tyler being on the list. I can only think of Ryan, but that was unrequited, it seemed.

I pray that this isn't another partner challenge and possibly a sexes (not battle of the sexes) or some sort of split between the "couples" on two teams. Who knows. I'll get back on topic..

Thank god they brought back Paula and Johnny. The two of them don't do enough of these shows, I'd like to see more of them. And I'm really glad they brought back Mandy, she's a top athlete and competitor. But what I really like about her, is that she's never a part of contrived arguments and phony drama. There are so many great competitors in this cast, the type of people who are confident in their own abilities going into elimination rounds. I don't think alliances will be a huge part of the show. Genuine competition will player a bigger role this time. It certainly looks like they've cooked up a great season.

I'm sure it is a sort of new concept somehow that will fall back into the old way of doing things, and I suspect the people like Mark who said "I'd only come back for an X" are back because this might be the last one.

But Aneesa has done well in them so I think that they would be more weary of Aneesa than Robin.

The 1st Duel season had basically all the new kids like Wes, Kenny, Evan, Johnny, Tyler, Nehimia (can never spell his name right) Big Easy, Diem, Casey, Paula, and Svetlana. The only old faces were Brad, CT, Derrick, Tina, Beth, Robin, Jodi, Kina, and Anessa which other than Beth and Tina were not old school vets. But The Duel 2 was so boring because it was stacked with veterans who pretty much dominated the show.

He talked about working with Derrick Johnny and Kenny if they did one together on Derrick's podcast. Also Johnny and Dunbar hate each other. I still think, if the game allows it, that the main alliance among the guys that we've seen so far will be Mark/Abram/Johnny and MAYBE Wes.

So, i've been away from this thread since like posts in the 130's, and i cannot read that much, so can someone just fill me in on who the next to possible couples we've been thinking about?

Tyler is definitely not in this challenge, I spotted him at the gym the other day.

The fight with Adam didn't show he could beat up a little guy, it showed he could fend off 5 large ones. He had some of the biggest beasts trying to hold him back and they couldn't do a thing. Ty gassed against brandon in a pole push..I hope they show this altercation, and on the **** show the altercation with Ty as well.
