Well I think with all thats going on sane normal adults is the type cast they should be looking forward to. Plus Austin was voted most popular season and Danny/Melinda were voted best love story, you would think BMP would want the popular people just as much as the drama queens.
And I agree with molds that if I were Melinda and my ex husband was apart of the same franchise and the theme had something to do with hookups/ex's I would stay away. But you must admit seeing Danny/Melinda on TV as a team or on the same team or whatever would be worth watching.

I'll be interested to see what the setup of this is, but I'm a bit disappointed by the cast... I feel like there'll be a lot of hooking up and stupid fights but very little real drama.

If I had it my way, Paula/Dunbar would be out next...followed by Johnny/Camila, Tyrie/Jasmine, Abe/Cara Maria. I have no idea how many finalists there are, but I'd love to see Rachel/Aneesa make it since I think it'd be cool for an all female pair to do so. But I would love to see CT and Diem take home the win...but wouldn't be upset if Mark and Robin won either.

Inferno 3 he was a newbie and was beatin by freakin Alton in the very first elimination. Gauntlet 3 he had to quit. Island he got "voted off" and Rivals he and Davis went against Kenny/Wes in the very first elimination. Short end of the stick to me.

Oh Don't get me wrong. I'm glad Kenny and Evan are not on this(Thanks Tonya!) I Just wish there were some more newbies..and some New Orleans 2 castmembers. When you look at the list so far it's basically Half the cast of Rivals but with some new people thrown in the mix....And I didn't even notice that there wasn't a whole lot of Fresh/Rotten Meat people in the cast. That's DEFINETLY a plus. Thanks for pointing that out.

I am not sure how many people are on this challenge. I, for one, from the beginning have [B]guessed[/B] 14 a side; I also [b]guessed[/b] it is a team challenge rather than a pairs challenge. One thing to know: right now, I have 13 confirmed females and 11 confirmed males for a total of 24 people. The way I see it, these are the possibilities:
1. I am not missing any people and this is a 24-person pairs challenge.
2. I am missing people (including a gay couple) and this is either a pairs challenge or a team challenge (likely missing 2 couples for a total of 28).
3. I am missing people (not including a gay couple) and this is likely a pairs challenge with a total cast of 26 or 28.
One reason I have thought this is a team challenge rather than a pairs challenge is because of Aneesa and Rachel. This is why I have always thought that there is a gay couple in the mix as well, to even out the teams by gender. If this is not the case and no gay couple is there (which is becoming more and more likely), then they are competing as pairs. No, I do not think Darrell is there.
I find it interesting that four people (3 men and one woman) have been confirmed out, when their normal schedule has two of each sex eliminated per week. They may have changed up their regular schedule to quickly complete production (and save $$). It is of note that, if this is a pairs challenge, Mandi was off the grid for about a week and a half following her elimination from Cutthroat, and Sarah is also a fan of traveling (but then again, who isn't?). It also makes figuring out who was eliminated much easier, similar to Rivals, as we only need one half of a pair to tell us who's home.
I can confirm, however, that this is not an individual challenge.
And as for the people asking if I know the cast and am just waiting for the "right time" to reveal their identities - [B]when I know, you will know.[/B] Who knows...maybe I've already revealed the entire cast.

ORLY? Pray tell, please explain your thinking. I've been negotiating and writing contracts for reality shows for a decade, and have seen all kinds of restrictive language placed on cast members which encumber them in a variety of ways 1) until a show/series premiers, 2) until a series ends, 3) for one year after the end of a series, or 4) for a lifetime specifically with regard to any details of production.
It is no difficult task to write a contract clause which enjoins a cast member from using an social media tool which would reveal that he or she had been eliminated at some point during production. If offered such a contract the potential cast member could attempt to negotiate relief perhaps through alternative language, to accept but willfully neglect to fulfill the contract, or seek relief in court. In two of the three instances, there is financial risk. I don't see anyone taking such a case [I]pro bono,[/I] and likely not on a contingent basis either.
In my opinion, it's a very simple extension of the Non-disclosure concept. If I've agreed to a contract with requires that I not disclose that I'm participating in a reality show (almost univeral in application), then it is a most modest step to also insist that I not compromise the show in any way as stipulated in the contract -- including social media -- to announce my return from a show taping, assuming that my name and show participation had somehow leaked into public view.
I'm going to assume that you are not going to offer up some First Amendment argument. First, the objection can not be to speech not restricted by a governmental body, except in narrow circumstances which do not apply here. Further, the rights of private employeers with regard to "cause" actions by employers is clear in the Supreme Court's ruling in [I]Payne v. Western & Atlantic Railroad Co[/I]., 81 Tenn. 507, 519-520, 1884.

What makes you so positive to count Ty and Emily out completely?
I don't think Dustin will get in trouble because he himself did not announce he was training, the gym he works out at said it not him. Plus I don't get why they would get upset if he says he'll be on the next challenge it's not like he'll be giving anything away.

ORLY? Just when was the Duel 2 reunion show taped? How may years ago? What circumstances in his life might have changed since then which would open him up to a changed point of view? Lots of things...including the cancellation of the morning E! show he hosted.
Actually, Mark and I worked an event together in Vegas in September 2011, as we did the year before. We talked, of course, in generalities, since he would never reveal a specific intent or invite, and I would never ask. The conditions of him doing another challenge were decidedly different, however, than his Duel 2 Reunion Show statement, at least as of Sept 2011.

No. The guy Molds gave credit to for finding out it was Ty and Emily was posting in this thread a couple of weeks ago saying he knew 100% that Ty was going to be on this season because he played football with Ty in college and talked to him. Emily has had some one updating her twitter for her. Just compare her tweets from Nov 2 and before to after. They have the athletic ability to go deep into this season. It all depends on how much endurance Ty has gained.

That's all well and good but I doubt that's the case this season because the eliminated contestants have all jumped onto their social networks (except for Sarah), some as early as tweeting from the airport.
I guess it is a possibility that they are all violating their contract.
Back to informed speculating, I am really anxious to see who took out Wes and if the eliminations are like exiles or jungles. I hope it's like neither of those tbh.

Since everyone is talking about it...
I can confirm that Nany did not drop out. This challenge requires a theme; therefore, if one person is unable to attend for whatever reason, the other person unfortunately suffers as well. That was the case here.
Perhaps Sarah and Vinny were able to pass a simple test, and Adam couldn't...or was found to have blatantly lied on it. Who knows?
