The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion

I'm happy at the thought of Emily and Ty being there. I just think Emily is the coolest girl and Ty is nonstop good television. I think the way he gets under everyone's skin is entertaining! lol. Well Abram and Cara Maria are the first team that I really saw as a strong team to be eliminated. But not surprised at all to see Johnny and Camilla still there. CT and Diem are probably REALLY strong together. If Johnny wins again, there will be a lot of annoyed people. I love to see new winners, but I don't hate Johnny Bananas.

If it is couples I hope we see Jemmye and Knight...but from twitter it looks like Jemmye nor Knight have plans to leave anytime soon.

Your post came not too long after I mentioned something about not having been convinced that it just had to be a partner challenge (I wasn't convinced it had to be from the beginning) and after someone else questioned why it might be one if they just had a partner challenge. I was unsure of who you were responding to - I thought it me. Sorry if it was not me. On another note, though we are not completely sure of what the format is, it would be interesting, IMO, if they invited enough people who could be matched with more than one person on the challenge. Or have some kind of panel of second set of exs for a surprise mission or something. Just something to play on the fact that some of these people could possibly be in a more awkward situation. Probably would not be as easy to do, though. At the very least, I'd love to see something like Sidekick Showdown from Battle of the Seasons or some sort of trivia game in which you have to prove you know your ex hookup.

Until I hear something official otherwise, and then after a period of denial, I am going to assume Dustin sent him home. Not a Dustin fan so much as that is the one person I think Wes would have a hard time with his having been the one who sent him home.

I hope Ty and Emily go home next. The people who have gone home have been pretty expected. -side note- That stinks that they have to spend Thanksgiving together in a random country! Haha just thought about that!

My thoughts for the final elimination is that Ty & Emily win the last challenge and get safety, and CT goes in and Mark & Johnny have to decide who goes up vs CT. I would believe Mark volunteers to go in becuase he matches up with CT and Robin is bigger then Diem or Johnny throws Mark in even though I'm not even positive Johnny would throw Mark under the bus to save himself.

I hope no Theresa. Really it's amazing how Theresa and Mandi managed to get so far on the challenges and constantly asked back just through hooking up. Kelly Anne is atleast always interesting. Laurel is the only Fresh Meat 2 female with something good to contribute to the show if you ask me. I'm bummed if Nany is disqualified because I think she is far more interesting and real than Mandi, Theresa, etc and I would love to see her on a challenge. Atleast we got Jasmine to bring the entertainment! Dunbar and Paula are always funny to watch together. What exactly happened with Adam?! If he failed the psych test than that's a great story atleast. lol. I can see it right now, Johnny Bananas making a joke "If Abram passes a psych test and you didn't, you know you're mental Adam." If the hinted people are on it, go Leroy, Jasmine, Rachel and Mark! Oh and wouldn't it have been crazy if Brooke and Evelyn got on?

I hope its not a couples/hookups theme & i also there has to be 16 guys & 16 girls!

After learning that, it may be incredibly obvious why there are resulting partners and that some will, by necessity, be people who were previously paired. Casting is almost always the result of "best efforts." Sometimes you begin the process with a distinct plan and when you find who is available and willing, the universe of options is far smaller that what originally was desired. Fall challenges often follow this pattern.

I seriously doubt there are any same sex pairs on this challenge. The rest of the speculation on who went home will be very predictable once we find the two missing people.

Is it for sure that the cast didn't get a break somewhere for thanksgiving?? Or given a phone or Internet time?? I mean what if the challenge is moving to Athens ala rivals?? Is that not plausible?

I am looking forward to see that Mark FINALLY goes into a elimination round to bad he lost, also since Ty and Emily make it to the finals they had to of gone into elimination at least once I dont see them making it all the way to the finals without going into elimination and that means Ty won a elimination.

Man they guys end is stacked. I hope these challenges are physical, I want to see Mark, Dunbar, Johnny, Abram, Vinny, CT, Leroy, Tyrie and Wes these guys should tear it up.

Yea, he didn't knock off the greatest competitors in the world but he still went up against grown men who were trying to stop him from doing what he wanted to do. Ty, put out a terrible effort but Brandon still had to fight him to a point where Ty broke. A lot of people could have been intimated by Ty's size and they would have been blown out of the water. Brandon fought Ty and for whatever reason, Ty folded. Regardless of who it is against, going into that many eliminations and com9ing back out is impressive. Every guy on the red team should be thankful they had a work horse like Brandon who did a lot of the dirty work for them.

Theoretically speaking, there should be at least 2 more guys unless this is pairs and they just weren't able to get a gay male pair. Because if it isn't, there'd be two more girls than guys on the season and that just seems odd. Obvi this is one of the best casts ever! So happy Vinny is back and when I saw Paula's name, I was like ZOMG! And how about Aneesa/Rachel? How awesome is that! Imagine if they win? It will sure shut all the guys up!

So some of the speculating castmemebers are: Mandi, Cara Maria, Robin, Wes, Adam Royer, Nany, Mark, Bananas and Priscilla (maybe) So far I am just excited to see Nany, Mark, Priscilla (if she is actually in it), maybe Robin and maybe Adam.

As long as they're not in the US, I'm sure she'll be allowed. 21 is the oldest age in the world if I'm not mistaking and she has to be 20 by now. Jonna and Derek were 19 or 20 when they filmed Cancun and they were allowed to drink.

Since there were some people who were rejected from doing this challenge due to the theme and based upon the people who are confirmed to be on this challenge, it's almost obvious that the format of this challenge is a new one.

I'm excited because it would be a lot of people's first wins who have been doing this for a long time...CT, Diem, Aneesa, Robin

Yeah but I went back through Rachel & Aneesa's previous challenge seasons. I don't know who their "Hook up" could be besides each other.

RW is almost over, and according to tv guide true life will be on Wednesday nights after RW is over. Are they just going to have fillers for the next few months? Or is the challenge going to air in January or February? EDIT: According to Scooter (who I think is the producer??) The challenge airs January 25th! Yay that's so soon :D

My two cents on the Mark/Johnny thing: They probably had a deal before the show even began filming that they would be splitting money with each other (I'm sure this happens frequently among all Veterans). Before there dome they obviously realized that Johnny and Camilla stood a better chance at doing well in the final than Mark and Robin did, but they also did not want it look shady in front of Robin. They were savvy enough to plan a "I'll win the first round, you win the second round, then I'll win the last round" setup. It would be very easy to make it look legit. Robin has the right to be pissed because Mark stood a chance at beating Johnny which would have guaranteed her (assuming she finished the final) at least $20,000. But you can still see the motive behind Mark's actions. Then again they did not find out they were playing X battle until they arrived at the dome (I think?) This would have made it difficult to plan something like that out on the spot with everybody noticing them talking. Perhaps they pulled a WWE and just whispered in each other's ear when they were wrestling in the first round.
