OK, here's what I don't get.
What the heck is it about Paula? Does she have some superhuman strength that I don't know about? I've always considered her one of the weaker competitors, yet she's always around forever. Is it because of her vet status, that the rooks don't want to **** anyone off by getting her out?
Someone, please help me out. ColiesMom, I know you've gotta have an opinion on this one :) Plus you've probably got the best insight!
^ Paula is not weak. She beat Aneesa in the Inferno 3. She also placed higher than many "strong girls" in both the Inferno 3 And G3. She knows how to play the game very well. She just screws it up for herslef in the end.

Well, I've not seen it (only heard about it), so I don't know how I would react as a heterosexual. It's just impossible for me to generalize.
I do think it is something that ladies of a certain persuasion could see as betrayal, or genius. I can't put myself inside their heads either. Actually, for the purposes of your question, I'm useless.

I can't mention who but, a very strong female castmember, even admitted that paula beat her is some of the events. Now on to Darock, once again I want your opinion about Rachel when this challenge is over.....I might as well say it.....Rachel wins first place, and from my sources she beats some of the guys on the final event. I can't think of no major pressure than the final. By the way she kicks some of the the guys in regualr missions as well. A lot of you really under-estimate someone, because you don't like them. Well I'm just stating the facts. I just gave a major spoiler, so from now on....I won't say anything anymore.

Paula is an ok competitor imo, but she only beat Aneesa in I3 because Aneesa was hurt. I gave Paula credit for being a decent competitor based on how she ranks and files based on past performance in relation to the cast of the Duel 2. In my opinion, she is perhaps 4th or 5th best behind Rachel, Tori, Aneesa, and perhaps Brittani (who impressed the hell out of me in the first challenge). Aneesa is battle tested in Duels, Infernos, Gauntlets, etc .... so no, I don't see Paula being able to take down Aneesa period.
However, if she goes for someone not as experienced in eliminations, such as Brittani, Tori, or even Rachel, you never know. There's a chance she could win. Mission wise, she is a decent competitor, at least decent enough with focus to finish in the upper echelon during challenges.

Darock and RMD, my point is that I don't know how she stacks up statistics wise (height/weight) but she does not seem as muscular as some of the other girls, you know? I think that's why I see her as a physically weak person since she looks so skinny [I]on television[/I], but I'm sure it depends on the challenge as well. I see her as a decent competitor, but it just seems that she now relies more on who she knows than her own strength. Who knows, she could have the same stats as me (not to say I am deterioratingly skinny).

You don't have a full picture of the final event. Two of the guys were at the complete mercy of two of the women. That one woman may have beaten two of the guys is greatly mitigated by the fact that at least one had to wait a long time for one of the women to show up so they could do the thing they had to do as a team...

I never said I didn't think Rachel was a good competitor. I just said she never went into a Gauntlet/Inferno/Duel or whatever. It has nothing to do with the fact that I'm not a fan of hers.

V1, your descriptions are top notch hilarious! i hope no one throws up when they see it. however i will say that seeing youtube clips of that farm animal madness made me want to vomit. anyway, i think i know what you're talking about and who it involves, but i won't say anything. and yes i did just come out of hiding after my hangover...
V1 you are correct....it's just that Rachel physical ability amazes me. I might be a little bias, but I don't think the majority of the girls can't win against her in a Duel/Inferno/Gauntlet. Well I guess we will never know. Darock I apologize for thinking that you considered Rachel as an ok competitor. Is that watching some of your comments, since the beginning of this challenge, it seemed like you always tought Rachel would lose, from stating that Tori is better, to even mentioning Katie had a better chance. Once again one of my issues, of judging to quickly LOL.

Hmmm, very interesting. I wonder what manipulations by the male winner went into assuring he has the most physically fit female partner for the Final mission, or for part of it. This assures my belief that the master alliance manipulator (Evan) won. Perhaps, he took a play from the Bananas/Santucci playbook ..... audible Paula for the "strongest" female player of the house, and work with her to be there at the end. I wonder how Mark feels now!
Rachel is very fit and has endurance, no one ever questioned that. Regardless of how well she does in challenges, until she is faced with the prospect of elimination, she's part mystery to me. This has nothing to do with like or dislike. I actually like Rachel alot. However, smart money says that she aligned herself or at least befriended Aneesa not only because of their "past", but she knew going in that Aneesa was capable at putting her down in some of those Duels, especially the ones where weight and size is an advantage (Back Off, the plank duel, and perhaps the one with the puzzle - which has not being fully identified yet).
