OK. If that is Dunbar, then do you have any idea who this is?

Umm nope, I don't feel comfortable saying who that is. This isn't the clip I saw though. In the clip I saw Dunbar was on the floor, in the middle of a ring in the shape of a circle and he was holding to a piece of rope that Johnny was trying to take away from him. Then as Johnny keeps trying to take away the piece of rope from Dunbar, he falls on the floor himself and you can clearly see his face. He (Johnny) is wearing his typical bandana with his hair spiked up. This clip is shown at the beginning of Ep. 1, right after Diem says: "things are about to get down ugly". I'm not one to say that I'm sure about something unless I am, and I can say that I am pretty sure that is Johnny vs Dunbar in that ruins. I just saw it again and I have no doubt.

I wasn't saying that was the clip you were referring to, I know exactly which one you're talking about. This one, correct?

Do you have a screenshot that would make it easier for us to distinguish as well? Because I've seen that clip many times and have not been able to confidently decipher Dunbar or Johnny.
Dannyboy in that clip you saw was it night or day because I saw that clip to and it looks like it may be daytime.
Hard to tell. Don't the ruins take place in a closed space? It could be day or night time. The place the ruins take place in look almost like a tv studio to me with all the lightning and stuff.
Never mind, I found what you're talking about.

If you look at the height of Dunbar's leg compared to the male champion, I think I can say it looks more like Derrick than Johnny.

No I dont sorry. I mean I could take a picture of my tv but I doubt that will help as the high resolution of my tv will all be lost when that image is transferred into a pic. This screenshot you took is from the very beginning of the sequence. At the beginning of this sequence is hard to tell who is who but as the sequence continues both Johnny and Dunbar's faces are shown.
This is what I've distinguished based on watching the trailer and episode 1.
Veronica takes part in this Ruin, which should mean this is the same for Syrus and Cohutta.

If that is indeed Dunbar and Johnny/Derrick in this Ruin,

then that leaves Kim and Susie doing this one as well. You can see the rope in the picture of Kim.

Susie is also seen in this Ruin, walking away from TJ and kicking the side of the structure:

That leaves the water tank Ruin as being Cohutta/Darrell and Sarah/Johanna.

I tried watching the video on mtv.com to do a screenshot of the part that gave it away for me but it says that video won't be able until Oct. 31. Can you do a screenshot of the part where Johnny falls on the floor and you can see him wearing a headband with his hair spiked up? Yes, I know Derrick has sported this look before too, but in this particular take that I'm talking about you can see Johnny's ****** features.
Ok the second one of them wrestling is probably the closest shot to the one I was talking about. Although this image isn't as clear as I can see it on my tv I think that is Johnny. When he falls down, his expression, ****** features, etc look like is Johnny.

Lol, it may sound funny, but perhaps in the 3rd picture that molds posted of Johnny/Derrick vs Dunbar, the champ's shoes might give it away. Maybe we can see in the past 5 episodes what shoes Derrick and Johnny are wearing. That sounds really funny, but if we really wanna find out, that may help.

It's a good idea, but Wes and Darrell were both wearing the same shoe...I'm pretty sure they all have a pair.
Do we know for sure who beats Cohutta for the champions? I know it was being said it was Darrell who beat Cohutta, but i'm not so sure it is. I'm just wanting to know because it looks like Derrick or Johnny inside the water tank in that picture unless that was Cohutta. And I have a feeling that is the Ruin that Cohutta gets beat in. And Darrell could be in the other tank, but the guy in that picture just looks more like Derrick or Johnny and not Cohutta. Which would mean that Cohutta would be in the other tank if in fact that is Derrick or Johnny in the picture.
The picture where Susie is kicking the structure might be the one that she goes up against Casey.
I've already said that, as the one where she is soaking wet is definitely against Kim.
okay, i've gone all the way back through this thread again, and i think all my questions have been answered! it will be cool to see it all play out the rest of the season. thanks all you spoilers!
totally off topic, it's hard to believe RW DC and fresh meat II have both already wrapped up filming. why do they do them so far ahead?
It's a good idea, but Wes and Darrell were both wearing the same shoe...I'm pretty sure they all have a pair.
Lol, oh well, I tried.
"Susie, after seeing Kelly Anne and Sarah's records, would easily win against Casey and chooses her" I dont know about this, Susie is very egocentric, i´m pretty sure she will go against kellyanne or sarah so the Challengers team gets even weaker.
About Dunbar, Molds has a point... It has to be Dunbar, cause there is no other choice. If he has to picks, I guess he will choose Bananas cause he thinks has no chance against Evan or Kenny, and maybe Derrick was not selected. Or Johnny was send just because he was never picked for the ruins...
What you said makes no sense and here's why. Susie at that point in the game was just shy of the finals. With seeing how strong Kellyanne and Sarah are it would be stupid to choose them over Casey. Those two( Kellyann/Sarah) would put up a good fight and possibly knock out Susie. The smart strategic thing for Susie to do is choose Casey. It's a guaranteed win for Susie. Nonetheless, by doing so she sails right into the finals.
it was bothering me so much to find out if its derrick or johnny that face dunbar that when i was looking at the screen shot i remembered an episode of entourage where drama is obsessed with calve muscles lol. i compared calve muscles in the screen shot of the ruins dunbar is in to that picture where it shows everybody in the final challenge and im almost certain its johnny vs. dunbar. derrick has shorter, fatter, and more built up calves wheres as johnnys are longer/skinnier like the ones shown in the screen shot!! lol i feel rediculous exxplaining my method of attempting to figure this out!

Hello, all! I've been lurking here for about a week and decided that I needed to post something, albeit if only to thank molds and everyone else here for doing what they do and feeding my guilty pleasure. Thanks, guys. Seriously. You’re totally making my viewing of this challenge far better than any other.
TV Lover, you asked a few posts ago whether MTV cares that the viewers aren't thrilled with watching the same people win over and over again, and this is what I've decided: somehow, not that many people must agree with you and me. I also am infuriated by having to watch JEK win the money again, (I'm assuming you meant you were bothered by JEK winning again, but if I'm wrong, please correct me), but I think maybe lots of viewers actually like those guys and find them entertaining to watch. I mean, am I totally alone in thinking this, or are JEK mainly just a bunch of cowards who are ridiculously afraid to see a one-on-one competition? To be clear, I’m not saying that any of them couldn’t win a ruin/gauntlet/inferno/whatever, I’m just saying that these three seem to be more afraid of going in than almost any other male who has played the game. Then again, I suppose it is entirely possible that I am romanticizing the old challenges….
Alas, I know this probably isn't the proper place for me to give my dissertation on why JEK and Johanna are what's wrong with this world, so I'll try to bring this post back on topic by asking a question:
Where do people think Darrell fits into the JEK “alliance”? Do people think that he is a strong part of it, like Derrick, or do people think that Darrell is only on the outskirts of the alliance?
Also: has there been much discussion here at Vevmo about whether or not people believe this show is scripted? My significant other is convinced that the show is ENTIRELY scripted, but I have a hard time believing that. For example, I do think the choice by MTV to pull out a ruin that Cohutta could win against Wes was pretty deliberate, but I also believe that JEK’s hate for Wes is pure and unscripted. Thoughts?
Welcome Samara and thanks for de-lurking! :D
Thanks! You guys are awesome.
Also, moderators, if my last post was too long or not appropriate for this thread, just let me know. I'm new, and I don't want to upset anyone; I'm just excited to talk about this show with SOMEONE, since my boyfriend pretty much thinks I am insane for watching it.

Welcome samara , it is always nice to have fresh well stated opinions added :)
When it comes to things like as far as the challenge and participants, they must follow the game show act.
As far as the what they say or do, I would have a hard time believing that a lot of this stuff was scripted.
I knew dumbar gets beat but i didnt know if it was confirmed he was facing johnny or derrick yet. Good for Bananas!! Johnny went in and won his ruins against one of the other teams stronger competitors so I think he deserves the bank he gets at the end. Everybody on the champ team at the end I think deserves it. They played a good game the whole way!!
Replying to samaras post I dont think they're afraid to go in. I also wouldn't consider them cowards. I think they are smart enough to figure out how to keep themselves out of a ruins for as long as possible to secure their safety until the end. That to me is smarts, rather then fear. If they were going in against whomever, whenver, they'd run more of the risk of ending up like Wes this season. Plus JEK and derrick are strong competitors so when they do have to go in they still have a high chance of winning against anybody they go against so i doubt they would be to afraid. More often JEK win thier duels/ruins/whatever. Like i said, I think it's more being smart and running the high risk of a ruins as little as possible. But when they do go in they never seem afraid. They usually murk the competition. I can't hate on thier style of playing the game.Plus they usually design they're way of playing so the teams are always stacked at the end. This mixture of smarts/athletic ability seems to be working bc look who keeps winning!! And honestly, if all the other people on that show haven't watched the last two rr/rr challenges and see what they do to keep winning they deserve to get beat again. Also they are entertaining every season they are on!! I love they are on these shows every season pretty much. It's entertaining!!
I wouldn't say they are whats wrong with the world at all either. They are smart, talented, entertaining people. They don't claim they are mr.niceguy and then flip into arrogant ***** mode every ten min Wes style. They are very up front with what they do and who they are and still execute it perfectly. In my life I would much rather have somebody be upfront with me about who they are and run the risk of me liking/not liking them then being fake about it how Wes was most of the season this time. It's about making money on these shows and they are very intelligent how they do it. In real life they aren't competing for large amounts of money in these type of situations everyday so i don't think you can completely judge them as people from these shows.Maybe some, not completely. They are doing what they have to to get to the money and they do it better than the rest. More people should respect them for this instead of hating!! If anything, they are what's right in the world. I know alot of people who watch rr/rr and they all like JEK. This site and a few other sites are the only place i hear people hating on them so often exxcluding me and a select few. Also,in case people feel I'm just on JEK's nuts, I'm not!! To be honest CT was/is my favorite person on these shows to watch usually!!
Also, I think darrell was more expendable when it came to thier team. If he wasn't he probably wouldn't have seen two ruins. This was long. I as a fan of this show wanted to state my opinion on here finally!!
tmac30001, I hear what you're saying, and I think I actually agree with a lot of points you made. Particularly the upfront part. And I promise that I don't really think JEK and Jo are what's wrong with this world :)

Wow...I do not think they are smart nor talented people if they would they would have real jobs .You are giving them too much credit. The only thing they have to their advantage is the numbers. That is the only reason why they run the game.Numbers play a big role in this game. For example if Wes would have refuse to go to the ruins in episode 5.He would have still be send in.He faced opposition from Kenny,Evan,Johanna,Susie and Ibis.Practically everyone on his team would have sent him in over Evan or Kenny. It doesn't matter how strong or smart you are.If you do not have the numbers. You will eventually go in and there will be a time that you won't come back.If Kenny would have gone 3 times to the ruins he would be gone by now.Same for Johnny.Evan probably would have put a fight but if he went every single time he would be gone too.
Remember the duel?Wes had numbers he had Svetlana and Anessa that kept on saving him.You are in trouble when you do not have numbers. When Evan saw that Kina was gone.He knew he was the next one on the chopping block. Why do you think Veronica is freaking out?It is because no one has her back. Why does Syrus goes in instead of Evan or Kenny?Because he does not have the numbers.
