I think one of the interesting things to look at is the editing patterns. Sucks pasted this article but didn't link to it, so I'm not sure where it's from, but here is one thing Probst said:
But Probst says fans should be surprised to see the heroes and villains potentially switching roles during the course of competition. "The central question playing out this season is just that," he teases. "Will a hero become a villain? And are there villains that can redeem themselves and become heroes? That's what the whole season's about and it's going to be fascinating to watch."
I think in terms of villains becoming heroes, I think Jerri has a real shot of having that editing pattern. Of the 5 who make the merge and have a shot at a legitimate storyline pattern, we already know Sandra will stay a villain per this Mark Burnett interview where he says "I think after this season, you'll still say "she's a villain", you might like her more, but she's not walking around, like a Stephanie or an Amanda, with that heroic way about her." Russell does not get along with Rupert, and plots the take down of fan favorites like Rupert, JT, etc., so has a low chance for redemption. Parvati attaches herself to Russell, and by many accounts, is the person doing most of the strategizing. Unless she is like Natalie being the hero to Russell's villain, I don't see her having a redemption storyarc, she's not even villanous to begin with anyway, I think she's just a ****** player. And Danielle was a non-entity to begin with so how can she redeem herself?
Jerri has had one of the most compelling and complex stories across her previous two seasons and it would be a beautiful way to put a close to this decade of Survivor by having her be the heroine of the season.
I think Rupert could definitely be a hero who becomes a villain and it would become another very interesting editing pattern. But I'm leaning against it, since Burnett described Sandra as remaining a villain, and since she refuses to help him stay, that could play into why she is a villain.
Speaking of which, there is a portion of the CBS press release which points directly to Sandra and Parvati:
The series will follow the relationships and conflicts that develop among the two divergent groups. Ultimately some castaways will be forced to choose between pre-existing relationships or tribe loyalty in the spirit of competition.

In all fairness didn't Jeff say in a interview that Steph's arm comes out of socket very easily and its a pre-season injury of hers.
Yes, but that on top of the video of Parvati tackling Cirie makes it that much more obvious. I'm surprised Parv didn't do any damage to Cirie!
Check it out, in case you haven't seen the video yet:

Sandra posted the first and so far only picture from last weekend that contains both of this season's final 2 (and 80% of the final 5):

I have heard that one of Parvati's 4 jury votes comes from Rupert. I am guessing Coach and Danielle are number 2 and 3 for her, with it being a tossup between Amanda and Colby for number four.
The jury speech information I have heard indicates:
1) Rupert gives an angry speech to Sandra
2) Coach openly campaigns for Parvati to win
That must've been why she lost. Haha.
Per SU posts on Sucks, Rupert or Colby was supposed to be going home the night Danielle did, but she snapped or did something at tribal council, so the vote changes.
Russell hid the machete but everyone thought Randy did it and they thought that Randy was trying to frame Sandra.
In the TV Guide preview, it shows the challengers celebrating. I saw Sugar, Tom, Colby, Amanda, Candice, JT, Rupert, and James. That means that Steph and Cirie were out on the course and presumably won.
It also shows that Colby and Tom go against Coach and Russell. I'm guessing that if they need it, the other round would be co-ed. So the pairings look like this:
JT and Amanda vs Jerri and Randy
Rupert and James vs Boston Rob and Tyson
Steph and Cirie vs Parvati and Danielle
Colby and Tom vs Coach and Russell
Candice and Sugar vs Courtney and Sandra
People are speculating that some of the things the cast is saying during their individual commercials could be foreshadowing some of HVV
Danielle: "I'm not here to make friends," and she doesn't, and her bad social game sends her out
Sugar: "Lady of the hour," though the first episode is two hours, she's done within what would usually be an hour
Stephenie: "It's all on my shoulders" this one is obvious
Rob: "Make no mistake, I'm playing the game" early spoilers said he was not really playing hardball because he just had a baby, and maybe some people make the mistake in thinking that for a while?
Tom: "Tom wins immunity," he finds the idol and uses it to kick out Cirie
Jerri: "I'm in a position of power again," she is a crucial swing vote between Rob and Russell
Parvati: "I'm gonna flirt with them," maybe flirts with Russell?
TDT has changed their tune regarding the first reward challenge. He is now saying that the heroes do in fact win the first RC, and that there is fishing gear spotted at both camps.
I wonder how they're doing that; if they gave them fishing gear beforehand (although all I've seen is a mask and flippers, so it'd be more like swimming gear) or if the losing tribe at the RC can win the gear if they win the following IC. That doesn't make too much sense, since the Heroes lose the first two ICs.
Either way, he now has the heroes winning the very first challenge.
What do we know about the heroes pre-merge tribe dynamics?
Not much, if anything. The majority of the spoilers are coming from people in the villains tribe.
I have a feeling that Sandra, Parvati, and Jerri have an alliance...and Russell wins the final immunity, so they have to get rid of one of their own. Sandra and Parv stick together because they've both won.

Sandra and Parv stick together because they've both won.
I tend to agree. When I had been speaking to missy via email, she said something along the lines of castaways wondering what Parvati was doing behind their back and if she backstabbed them. I read that to mean Russell was wondering about her, and wondering if possibly she would have voted him out had she had the opportunity (which she did not because he won the last challenge).
This quote from Sandra definitely piqued my interest during the TV Guide preview: "No I don't think I can win again. The only way a previous winner can win is if they go to the final two with another winner and that's like impossible. If they do that they deserve to win."
Definitely seems as though that's the philosophy that guides Sandra and Parvati's gameplay. It allows them to dominate the game, and really, it was completely unexpected to see the final 2 being two past winners, but good for them for making it work. They picked the right person to drag along with them as well, to ensure it would be a vote between just Sandra and Parvati, without Russell being in the way because of the universal dislike for him.
Per SU:
The sumo challenge is back this season, where they knock each other off the platforms while holding the pillow.
Danielle's socks go missing and nobody knows what happened to them until they saw what Russell did on episode 1 of Samoa
"James wasn't going home when he did," I can't tell if that's insinuation of an immunity idol, or if it was the previously explained sympathy vote thing. SU said this in response to someone who said James' injury saved Colby's ***.

Sounds to me like it was supposed to be Colby going home but he either asked them to vote him our or they decided to switch it to put him out of his misery. Doesn't sound like an idol to me...but I guess you never know!
More from SU:
On Boston Rob. I don't think he saw it coming. B/C he doesn't get a clean sweep out of the game. His alliance still votes w/ him if I'm not mistaking. Danielle is never aligned w/ Boston Rob. She is w/ RH/Parvati. From what i remember Boston Rob wasn't the intended vote, and it changes to Boston Rob after Russell hears that Boston Rob has deals w/ both Coach and himself. Coach won't vote for Boston Rob.
Colby might have had a chance had Rupert not been an idiot at the F6.
I personally don't think JT's thing is as bad as Erik in Micro giving immunity away to Natalie. Unless the severeness of it isn't coming accross to well. I will discuss it later on down the road though=)
On why Candice goes home before the stronger hero men:
Candice tells them that Russell and her made a F2 deal. So, they send her packing. They didn't want to do Russell b/c it was to early to flop on the 5 Villains. They needed their numbers to remain strong a lil longer. There was flop coming, there was one coming.
Someone asked why Russell and Parvati don't take Danielle to the final 3, and he responds that Russell & Parvati aren't the only people playing the game. Thus insinuating that Sandra and/or Jerri was probably behind it. A temporary alliance between the old school Australia/Pearl Island players looks very likely. They could stay together to get Danielle out, and then at final 6, Rupert probably picks the fight with Sandra, which is where the alliance falls apart, as SU said Colby could have done better if Rupert wasn't a *******.

I'm pretty sure that Rob is giving a face-rearranging to Tom as well. It's definitely not Rupert or James and doesn't look like the body of Colby or the hair of JT.
I also believe that the one picture where Colby is running has Tom all the way over to the left, due to the body type and dark blue shorts.
So either of these challenges would be before episode 5.
Also: if they play Schmergenball the same way they did in Samoa (3 in the battle area, 3 shooting up top) it would have to be done before episode 7 as the heroes are down to 6 after Tom leaves and James gets hurt in it.
James leaves episode 6 in a double boot episode. I'd say it probably occurs episode 3 or 4 given that it was said that he tries to compete in a couple challenges before being sympathy voted out.
They usually don't go much further than episode 3 when previewing challenges pre-season.
I didn't screencap it, but it looks like Coach wins his faceoff for the sumo challenge, you can see him raising his arms up without the pillow, and it looks like he is celebrating.
A Sucks poster deducted this as the reward challenge order, based on timestamps of press pics (which can be found if you save the pic to your hard drive, then go to properties and summary)
1. Jerri/Randy vs. JT/Amanda (5:04PM)
2. Coach/Russ vs. Colby/Tom (5:19PM)
3. Parv/Dani vs. Steph/Cirie (5:32PM)
4. Rob/Tyson vs. James/Rupert (5:41PM)
5. Sandra/Courtney vs. Candice/Sugar (4:03PM - Different photographer with a different camera)

I'm guessing that the last one is actually 6:03PM compared to the other cameras. Simply a photographer from a different time zone.

I am not sure how accurate these are in terms of time.
This picture has EXIF data of 3:41:03 PM. Clearly you can see Parvati and Danielle at the start line.

has EXIF data of 5:32:11 PM.
Both are from CBS photographers. The first is from Monty Brinton; the second from Robert Voets.
To clarify, here are the others in the order they are speculated to have gone.
Jerri, Amanda, JT, and Randy from Robert Voets' camera, EXIF of 5:04:15:

Sugar, Candice, and Sandra from Monty Brinton's camera, EXIF of 4:03:12:

Obviously someone's camera is off. Now we know that Sugar is in the last round, so I was thinking that 4:03 actually meant to be 6:03. If that was the case, then the picture of Parvati and Danielle at the start line would not be accurate, time wise (i.e., would be after the picture of them in action). So I'm a little confused as to how that is working.
If Robert's times are accurate, there was 15 minutes between the co-ed action shot and the all-male shot; 14 minutes between the all-male shot to the all-female shot; 11 minutes between the all-female shot and the second all-male shot.
It's very confusing to me.
EDIT: To me, it seems like the delay between camera times is at least 1 hour, 40 minutes and no more than 2 hours.
Also, Samoa is 3 hours behind PST which is the proposed time zone for each of the pictures. So in actuality, the challenge took place more around 2pm (assuming that Monty's camera is not on local time zone).
Given how Randy is posed in this picture, it appears he is in the sumo challenge (though sans mud aside from a few spots), and thus that challenge is episode 2 or 3:

Danielle and possibly Tyson also compete in the Slip n' Slide challenge, and though that doesn't give us any more info about what episode it is, we know they don't sit out, nor do Russell or Jerri.
