Man, you people are overreacting BIG TIME. Do you really want to hold onto the past that tight to overlook the fact that these people can't do it forever? Fresh Meat, Spring Break, Jersey Shore, 16 & Pregnant, The Hard Times of RJ Berger - wherever they DO decide to come from, it will NOT take away from the challenge. If there's anything you should be complaining about it's the identical challenges we've been getting with the same people running the show. If there's anything you should be complaining about it's the fact that these challenges have become less original as time goes on as we've been subjected to seasons where 80% of the challenges have to do something with something 50 feet high or in water, or something 50 feet high OVER water. Complain about the lack of adding NEW stuff and more ORIGINAL stuff to the season, but don't complain about them adding new faces to create new rivalries to FRESHEN up the stale concept. I bet more than half of you didn't even WATCH the Spring Break Challenge.
I bet more than half of you didn't even WATCH the Spring Break Challenge.
Probably because it was a bunch of random college students competing in recycled, not-new challenges that we've seen before in past challenges. And you were complaining about originality, right?
Go watch Survivor or Big Brother or any other reality tv show for that matter if you want to see fresh faces. The Fresh Faces for this show should be strictly Fresh Meat and the rookie Real Worlders. The End. Spring Break Challenge was to root for your favorite coach. I guarantee you that nobody that even watched the challenge can name 1/3 of the kids that even competed in the SBC, I bet 99% of people that watched it cant even name 5 people that competed on it.
Hi, I do watch those, thanks. BUT I'm still pretty sure Bunim-Murray can do what they please, whether their audience likes it. If the ratings drop, they'll change it. It's better than the same old stuff ALL the time, no? ;) Spring Break challenge was STILL a challenge, which was taped for money. We all have our own opinions.

They could have had "new fresh faces" from anyone on a recent season of The Real World that hadn't appeared on a Challenge yet and it probably would have accomplished the same things you are talking about. They would have brought a different dynamic, they could have possibly shook up appliances, they may have been a new powerhouse. All these things Camila might end up being and she might end up a favorite of everyones but that doesn't change the fact that she was never on a season. Some people may disagree but for me, it wasn't about holding on tight to the hope that Timmy might make another appearance but hoping that BMP/MTV would continue to keep it full of people who originally appeared on a Real World or Road Rules season. No matter how much I may like some of the Fresh Meaters now I was equally upset with their inclusion into the series and I would have rather they never used that concept still. I want to keep it "pure" if you will. I think there are enough cast members to draw from that you could accomplish new dynamics without bringing in people who weren't on one of the original shows. I personally do not count the Spring Break Challenge as to a RW/RR season (and yes I have watched it, just not when it originally aired) and five 30min episodes where a minimum of 10 people had to share screen time was hardly enough for me to call it a season or to get to know the people like I would on a normal Real World season. That's me though, some people do think it counts so they aren't as upset. Yes the RW/RR cast can't do it forever but as long as new seasons are being produced and creating new people to take over spots vacated by past participants, I would prefer that the Challenge casts be made up of only RR/RW cast members.
I agree, I think that they could find enough people from previous RW/RR seasons without having to bring in all these new people.

Just the fact they picked someone from an SBC (Which they usually do have, just not to that extent and it isn't televised) over a castmember from The Real World or Road Rules really bugs me. There were many castmembers who showed interest in participating in a show.
**** wasnt Kendall saying last year she wanted to come back and do one? They could've contacted her.
I think Kendell was showing interest like 2-3 yrs ago. She had a baby, but I think she is still interested. Also, I bet Colie would have gone if she was asked. Coliesmom said she wasn't asked.
**** they should'v thrown a little extra cash and gotten Coral.
True! I feel the people who truly love the shows and are passionate about the challenges, are the ones who are upset the most. The people who say "get over it" or "it's not such a big deal", I don't think fully understand why it is so upsetting. Of course it's not the end of the world, it's the concept, the laws, and the unfairness towards, not only the viewers, but the actual castmembers.

Can't wait to see my girl, Camila kick some ***. bahahahahaha!
Poor Paula just can't win one..
I think Paula is a decent player. I wonder who took her out? Out of the FM girls Cara Maria was the only one to make it to the end. From first place to last place, good for her. I didn't really like her from the show or aftershow, but atleast she has the bragging rights to say she made it to the end, without a partner.
I'm pretty glad with the girls that made it to the end. Glad that Emily made it to the end on her first one!
This challenge is now worth watching knowing that Paula will be getting the boot right before the final! I like how the first girls from Fresh Meat (Cara Maria, Sarah & Paula) all made it far though.
Awww poor Paula! On the other hand: I'm glad Emily, Cara Maria and Sarah are still there
Oh molds you just made my day! Soo happy Paula is gone! :D Now just hoping (obviously without knowing who the two unknown males are) that the eliminated males are Dunbar and Tyler. Tyler because he is my least favorite male castmember ever, and Dunbar because I think he sucks at life and does not deserve to win a challenge.
I wonder who screwed Paula over this time.
Please dear challenge god, let Derrick, Tyler or Johnny be the last two eliminated!
I wonder who screwed Paula over this time.
Probably no one.
I'm sad to see Paula lose once more. I'm just hoping that Brad wins this challenge. I'm also really happy to see Emily make it far.
Probably no one.
Actually, I'm guessing that she entered into another alliance with a group of unreliable men, and that's what ended her....which has been Paula's story ever since the Island.
There should be new winners in this challenge. Out of the 5 remaining girls only Tori is a previous winner. Assuming that there are 15 Males cast members and 5 male finalists the only confirmed winners out of the possible 7 finalists are Derrick and Bananas. At the very least there should be at least one male in the finals who hasnt won, even if the 2 unknown males are former winners and are in the finals with Derrick and Johnny.
I am actually a little sad that Paula got the boot right before the final! She is annoying, but she really stepped it up, and I was impressed by her performance on FM2. I would have much preferred to see that sycophant Sarah getting the old heave-ho instead, but I guess she found the right *** to kiss this time?
I would have much preferred to see that sycophant Sarah getting the old heave-ho instead, but I guess she found the right *** to kiss this time?
Maybe Sarah smartened up and realized that if you are a woman in these challenges, relying on men to help you out will only screw you over. Sarah is a strong enough competitor on her own so that she doesn't need anyone's help.

The only thing worse than these last 5 girls on this challenge would have been if camila was there with them...worst final ever....new challenge please!
So we have left: Cara Maria Emily Jenn Sarah Tori Brad Derrick Dunbar Johnny Tyler ??? ??? 2 of the guys are home, but we don't know which 2. I must be in the minority in wanting Derrick to lose/not win. I've nothing against him but he's already won a bunch of them and he's pretty boring to watch on TV. I'd prefer some players who haven't won before be victorious this time, and I include Tori in that bunch because she didn't technically "win" G3 in my opinion.
I definitely don't want Derrick to win. He's a nice guy, but he's already won to many times and he's boring. I also don't like the fact that he leaves his wife and son for a month and a half. He has already done 2 challenges since he's been a father. The Ruins and this one. Spend time with your kid! Don't get me wrong, I like Derrick, I just think it's time for a break. The only 2 people I want to win are Brad and Jenn.
Sad Paula is home, especially right before the final. I hope she took out some other girls this season, to improve her record of only winning an elimination round twice. Won't be surprised to see her on the next one either. It's weird though, I thought Theresa and whoever would be the last eliminated. Since there are usually only ten episodes in each season. I would think it was 18 eliminations (9 episodes) then the final with 10 people.
I wonder who screwed Paula over this time.
I could only imagine her reaction this time after losing. The only thing worse that I could imagine is somehow someone like Tyler or Sarah was responsible for her demise.
