The Challenge Series: RW/RR (Generic Thread)

I love how Tonya outed Veronica twice on 2 different challenges. I guess MTV didn't want to "out" somebody and didn't show it on the show. On youtube there's a clip of Tonya outing Veronica on "The Ruins" on camera, but it was cut out of the episode. and I'm watching the Inferno II aftershow, where they show A LOT of unseen footage and one is Tonya talking to the camera outing Veronica and Rachel's relationship.....WOW.......pretty much explaining in details and they even show a clip of them coming out of the shower together.

It was right before the race part started, they were told exactly what the prize would be for winning that part--a 2-minute head start. If you want to talk about unfair, how about using the luggage weight in Exiles for FM I? They had no idea that the amount they packed would have any consequence on their performance.

And I'm going to take full advantage of this moment and say that that is the only reason Wes lasted so long.

If I believe correctly Casey and Wes' luggage combined was a lot lighter than most of the other teams. The soccer kick was "fair" but it was dumb as hell. It completely ruined all the tension because you never saw both of them at the same obstacle. It really did ruin the final mission for The Duel, not that it was great by any means. Having a puzzle that no one can solve doesn't really say too much about the competitors, or maybe it says too much. Oh and the Exile luggage rule killed me. That was definitely unfair. I have no idea how they came up with that concept. It's like why don't we just make them carry 10 pounds for every pair of socks they own? It's dumb and has nothing to do with anything. Even in the F2 exiles, carrying a set weight isn't really fair either. It should be a proportion of a person's weight, like in Tina vs. Robin inferno in The Inferno 2. At least the eliminations weren't as bad as the ones in The Gauntlet 3. I don't blame the veteran guys for never voting in Eric.

CT is an animal, plain and simple. I know many people don't like him, but to dispute that he is not one of the top challengers of all time is ridiculous. The only players that would have an equal chance at beating him on a consistent basis would be Mark and Landon. Plus like people have mentioned before, everyone is afraid of facing him. Top 10 Challenge competitors: 1. Mark 2. Ct 3. Landon 4. Timmy 5. Theo (RR) 6. Evan 7. Miz 8. Alton 9. Darrell 10. Abram/Derrick

Sure manny people may have those people in their list, just not that order. I still believe CT is on the top followed by Landon.

It's hard for me to argue with you having CT first. He's probably my personal favorite challenger. I just think Mark has a slight edge on him. Everyone wants to see MTV do a Duel 3 with all the best competitors. It would be awesome if it came to fruition. All the missions should be individual. I hate when the guys/girls have to team up with one another on certain missions. It defeats the purpose of the duel format. The 2 players who come in last for each sex should automatically have to go into the duel. That would take away most of the plotting and alliances that run rampant now. MTV make it happen!

Or how about The Inferno II, where the Miz was outformed by CT [I]and[/I] Landon. Miz is one of my favorite competitors ever, but he was not better than Landon or CT, and those Infernos proved such. Mike was a great competitor but an even better leader. He was the heart, but I have no doubt people could take him out.

I think Push Me would've been more fair/honest of a game if the concept was to push the pole and push your opponent around 360 degrees back to where they started from in order to win. Winning on fluky disqualifications in an elimination game is just cheap. I don't even understand why they have it possible for a competitor to DQ in eliminations.

I agree with townie. A disqualification in an elimination like Push Me shouldn't have been there to give competitors like Svetlana and Brad a chance, that's what puzzles are for. I Can and Ascendar were elimination where anyone could have gotten eliminated. I think eliminations like Push Me should just focus on who the stronger competitor is physically and give them the win. That's what a lot of those eliminations from Gauntlet 2 and 3 were like (Reverse Tug-O-War and Ankle Breaker for example).

I feel like Sydney - Brooklyn haven't really had their turns to shine on challenges. It seems like from those seasons there are more people who haven't done a challenge, than those who have. I definitely would love to see all of Hollywood again.

I agree... heres the list Sydney- Kellyanne (2 challenges), Shavoun (2 challenges), Cohutta (2 challenges), Dunbar (3 challenges), Ashli (1 challenge), Isaac (1 challenge) Hollywood- Dave (1 challenge), Kim (2 challenges), Brianna (1 challenge), Nick (2 challenges), Brittini (1 challenge) Brooklyn- Sarah (2 challenges), Chet (1 challenge), Katelynn (1 challenge) No appearences- Trisha, Parisa, Joey, Will, that one d-bag, Sarah (Hollywood), Scott, Ryan, Baya, Devyn, Jd. In all honesty, I think the people that haven't done the challenges were by far the most entertaining for that season. IE- Trisha, Parisa, Joey, Ryan.

I would love to see Ryan on a challenge, but I doubt it's going to happen. :( I can always dream though.

I think on one of Ryan's youtube videos he said he would only do a challenge if it was a partner challenge and his partner was Chet. :)

Favorite opening intro: Gauntlet 3 Favorite episode: Any with Evan in it :) Favorite mission: I loved Freeze Your Butt off from BOTSexes and Captain's Chair from Inferno 3. Favorite male challenger: Evan or Brad Favorite female challenger: Paula/Tonya/Veronica/Rachel too many to choose from. Favorite team: I really liked the Bad A**** from Inferno 2 Favorite male elimination round: Abram vs Brad on Inferno 2 or Derrick vs. Wes on the Duel Favorite female elimination round: Sarah vs. Katie on The Ruins or Sarah vs. Irulan on Gauntlet 1 Favorite victory: The Rookies winning by default on Gauntlet 3 Favorite moment: Way too many of them to name.
