The first challenge I ever watched in full was Inferno II, this cast is def my favorite. Beth and Tonya on the same challenge was god-like. I'm pretty sure a repeat of this never occuring was not by accident
Beth is done. Tonya will never be done.
in the Duel he had Evan, Johnny, and Derrick with him, where was his political game then? Every challenge he was on after this he literally was just friends with ppl and not from the Denver, VR, Hollywood, etc casts.
He was not at the end of the pecking order in the Duel. He was called in, there is a big difference in my opinion. You ask where his political game was in the Duel, well he obviously did something right because he got picked up in the selection process. Ultimately, a competitor has absolutely no control over getting called into the Duel by the person left at the end of the line. Evan was called into the Duel 3 times in the Duel 2, that doesn't mean he did anything wrong politically. Granted I know that is probably not the best example because in that case Nehemiah and Davis both called in Evan because of personal problems. But Nehemiah had nothing personal against Kenny in the Duel, Kenny was simply the weakest competitor in terms of physical strength. Politics only get you so far in the Duels, eventually you have to show up physically, which Kenny can't do because he is a weak PHYSICAL competitor.

Do anyone else besides me think Challenge 21 is going to have majority of new faces?
Do anyone else besides me think Challenge 21 is going to have majority of new faces?
If it is the Duel 3, then probably not because all the old people want to come back for it. If it is anything else, then yes I totally agree with you.

Mark and Darrell have both said that they would come back if it was a Duel. I guess veteran would be the more appropriate term, and yes, after reading my post I realize saying "all the old people want to come back for it" isn't really true considering I only have 2 names hahah

I thought you would say Mark and Darrell because they have openly stated that they would return for a Duel or individual format. I think Evelyn said the same thing.
I would say best in all categories. Beth is done. Tonya will never be done.
Do you know this for sure? She said she'd keep coming back as long as she was asked.
No. But it doesn't seem likely.
I know she hasn't been on since Gauntlet III, but Mark took a pretty long break between Gauntlet II and Duel II. Syrus and Ibis were also absent from Gauntlet II to The Ruins. I know Beth's a lot older, but I still think she could be back some day. She's actually one of my favorite cast members.

Personally I don't think winning 3 challenges makes you a top 10 competitor of all time either. Like someone said before, The Island and The Ruins might as well have been fixed for Kenny to win them, the way they were set up. The Island being the most glaring example because Kenny lost a faceoff to Abram and literally got to sit on his *** and do absolutely nothing to get to the final mission. Oh but wait, he still had to win the final mission says all the pro-Kenny people. Oh boy, let's see. Derrick/Ev/Kenny/Johnny vs. Jenn/Robin/Ryan/Paula. Really was shocked by how that one turned out. The Ruins was a total joke too. Putting teams together that made it pretty much impossible to get rid of Kenny or Evan. Stop it everyone about this political game that he plays. Going onto a Challenge with your two best friends who will protect you does not mean you have a great political game, it means that you're too much of a nancy pants to fend for yourself. Finally Kenny had to do that in FM2, and he still lost, despite having the best female partner. Imagine if he had one of the weaker girls? He probably would have been out of there the first week. I am getting increasingly tired of people trying to make excuses for Kenny, and maybe some of it has to do with the fact that people haven't seen enough of the older Challenges when it was about competing and may the best man win, not who can **** who over the quickest. If you've watched the Challenges for as long as I have (Battle of the Seasons onward), it's blatantly obvious that Kenny cannot even sniff the top 10 as far as competitors go. In case people forget what a competitor is, it's somebody WHO ******* COMPETES. How can you sit here and take somebody's stupid juvenile sideshow antics (which is all that his "great political game" is) that happen OUTSIDE THE COMPETITIONS as somehow making them a good competitor. People are changing the definition of the word competitor to make it fit their pro-Kenny agenda. Just stop it already.

I just personally think, the better record of winning someone has it makes them a great competitor. I never tried to change the definition of competitor, and I couldn't if I tried, but I was stating earlier that the people that make it to the end, more power to them. I've watched every challenge since Battle of the Seasons and I'm just going to stick to my own opinions. Yes it was very different before Fresh Meat, but it is what it is and you have to take what you get. I only like Kenny because he is actually one of the intersting people on these shows, but that's just my opinion. I didn't state that Kenny would be on my list somewhere because I wanted to argue about it, I was just stating my own opinion on the matter.
I think you should go cystic :D I'm sure it would be fun.
I know, right!! How can I pass up the opportunity to push Paula into a pool?!
...and don't forget to take some photos.
Hahahah Paula might bring Lancey Pants... then you will be in for a super treat!!! Kellyanne has floating devices in her, so its fun to watch her try to swim underwater. Whos is Scott? Is that Marks son?

Some people don't seem to understand what the word competitor means.
I don't like Kenny, so I can't believe I am sticking up for him, but, well, first of all, I agree that he's not a physical player, but I agree with fabulous: If you make it to the end, and you win, then you must have done something right. Kenny's won 3 challenges (unless my memory is wrong), so he must have been doing SOMETHING right. For me, I don't care HOW you get o the end, if you win, then you DESERVED the win. Even if I don't like someone (Kenny, Evan, Johnny), I'm still willing to give them credit on their win. I'm not pro-Kenny, but I'm tired of people denouncing his game because they're ANTI-KENNY. He's won 3 times. He's doing something right. End of story.

So by that rationale Johanna and Rachel deserved the win on Gauntlet 3 because they won by default after Big Easy collapsed? Please. Plenty of ********* competitors have won Challenges before. Doesn't mean they deserved to win. IMO Kenny has only one win that he deserved, and that was on Inferno 3. How can you say he deserved to win on The Island when he LOST a faceoff, and did absolutely nothing else after that? He sat there and let Johnny be the whipping boy for his alliance. At least Johnny had to win his key back. Then I took one look at that Ruins cast and said that Kenny will win it because his flunkies will protect him. Imagine if they had actually cast some champions that were viable threats to them, like say, Abram and Landon instead of Wes, who everyone hated and conveniently scapegoated, and Syrus, who hadn't done a Challenge in years? No way Kenny would have stayed out of the elimination rounds then. You can't just sit here and say Kenny deserved that Ruins win when the cast was BLATANTLY stacked in his favor. And another thing, people need to stop saying "end of story" at the end of their posts. Who do you think you are, Tony Soprano? It's not end of story just because you say it is.

Whos is Scott? Is that Marks son?
LOL Scott from Real World Brooklyn. I actually did have to think about who it was though at first haha. As for the whole competitor thing, I have said a few times that I believe, usually, if you make it to the end, it is because you deserve to be there. Not everyone is the best competitor, but there are other ways to do well in the game. I will say though that Johanna, Rachel, and the other Rookies do deserve to be in the end since they all made it to the end, and it was especially hard for them because their team lost almost every mission meaning they had to send in practically everyone at one point or another. Whether their win is deserved or not is debatable though. Personally I am not going to take their win away from them simply because Eric collapsed. I will say that the Veterans did deserve to lose for being dumb enough not to get rid of Eric, but I don't know if that necessarily means the Rookies deserved (or didn't deserve) their win.

Most sensible post I've read in this thread in awhile.
When I talk about ranking competitors I think of how they do in missions and elimination rounds. Kenny does well in neither. I'm just failing to see how making an alliance with his friends on every challenge makes Kenny a strong competitor when it's been shown time and time again that he rarely ever performs well during missions or elimination rounds. Do any of you Kenny supporters think he would stand a chance against players like Mark, CT, Landon, Timmy, etc. in a 1 on 1 situation? He's average physically and he sucks at puzzles. I'm just not understanding how you can confuse backstabbing and partnerships among castmates with being a strong competitor. Since when does lying and being shady to people in order to win make someone a top competitor? Randy (San Diego) must be a better competitor than CT because he's won a challenge. Robert Horry must have been a better basketball player than Charles Barkley because he won 7 championships and Barkley won none.
Me and my friend were talking about this last night so I thought it would be fun to post... who are the top 10 biggest smokers! We laughed about this because it seems to us that are there are always a lot of smokers on the show when in our reality, we don't really know many people that smoke. I'll do my list first. 10. Irulan- RW Las Vegas 9. Lars- RW London 8. David- RW Seattle 7. Kaia- RW Hawaii 6. Ruthie- RW Hawaii 5. Frankie- RW San Diego 4. Justin- RW Hawaii 3. Piggy- RR Australia 2. Janet- RW Seattle 1. Katie- RR The Quest
A lot of you guys have to stop hating on Kenny and give him respect, Kenny already won 3 challenges, whether they were rigged/fixed or not, he won them. Yeah.. he might not of done anything impressive by not entering an elimination round, but he always does well on the final missions. Kenny isn't in the Top 10 of all time, but he is definetly in the current top 10 (meaning of competitors who are recently and continously competing.)

I think he is strong because he knows how to play the game. And I know everyone is going to freak out about that statement because of how weak he is physically, but the challenges are not about who is the strongest physically anymore. Sadly, backstabbing, partnerships, lying, and being shady is unfortunately the name of the game in this era of challenges.
