I liked this season, because I felt it had a mix of everything. Also I think it was this challenge that launched us into the new era of challenges...
I know what you mean.
That season went downhill once Coral left. The Veterans are idiots...Casey was the one they should have been trying to get rid of before anyone else. Hated Evelyn's attitude and her assertions that Coral was somehow detrimental and "poison" on their team when she was probably their best girl besides Evelyn.
Coral might have been a decent physical competitor, but honestly, she was killing team morale. She was used to being HBIC, and the Vet girls clearly didn't want that anymore. Evelyn might have been the loudest voice against Coral, but she definitely wasn't the only one.

I was watching it again....I miss Coral :-(
I liked this season, because I felt it had a mix of everything. Also I think it was this challenge that launched us into the new era of challenges...
I'm glad someone else liked this season. It's one of my favorites. I think it had a great mix of people even though the Vets were way better than the rookies competition wise. It also held my attention, unlike other seasons.
Here are my thoughts on the first 4 episodes. Episode 1 - Great Episode 2 - Poor Episode 3 - Very Good Episode 4 - Great im liking this season so far, my favorite one is Denver and the way things are going this might be the second best on my list! GREAT SEASON SO FAR!!
I have to agree. I starting watch since Denver, and there have been a couple of good seasons. The beginning of Hollywood was kinda good and Brooklyn was great. Brooklyn was the only season that came close to matching Denver. But Denver was just greatness. Davis, Colie and, Brooke were the best. Tyrie, Jenn and Stephen were the best supporting cast. Colie, Brooke, Davis and Stephen were really real and genuine. Everyone brought the drama. Jenn fought, yelled and screamed with EVERYONE(except Colie who she made cry). Brooke was always breaking down with outbursts and meltdowns. Colie was always sick and/or crying. Davis was always instigating and stirring the pot; causing drama). Tyrie was hot-head with a temper problem and always quick to jump to conclusions.Stephen was trying preach while occasionally slipping up.And, all Alex did was sleep with all the girl roomates(except Brooke who didn't sleep with anyone). Denver's cast was the perfect recipe for drama. But, most of the cast was genuine. Denver is the best season yet. B2New Orleans is giving it a run for its money. They need to bring back the greatness of Denver. By the way:Anyone down for a Real World:Denver reunited?

I agree the cast was great and was a good mix of stuff. The drama was nice especially with Coral in there.

Yeah the Ruins came very close to it. The Ruins was the best challenge since G3 nad G3 was the best since G2 IMO.
Yeah the Ruins came very close to it. The Ruins was the best challenge since G3 nad G3 was the best since G2 IMO.
I was never a big fan of Gauntlet 2. It was very competitive and had some really good match ups but I really hated the format for some reason. The only one between those I really liked was The Duel, even if Wes won that. ;)
Yeah The Duel was the best IMO and also the Gauntlet 2, because Derrick,Kina, and Alton performed very well (3 of my Top 10 favorite challengers)

I liked the Duel also for the format and it made gameplay more exciting. But I think I like Duel 2 better.

Other than that the duel 2 was stupid.
The only thing that was better than were the missions. Other than that the duel 2 was stupid.
Yeah, and Duel 2 had stronger competitors than D1 IMO. Oh and the winner of D2 trumps the winner of D1 :D!
Yeah, and Duel 2 had stronger competitors than D1 IMO. Oh and the winner of D2 trumps the winner of D1 :D!
NOPE!! LOL As I recall The winner of D2 was also on D1 and lost. :)
The Duel 2 was the last challenge I really enjoyed. I think it had the best cast in terms of competitors. I didn't necessarily like all the people, but the majority of them were either strong or solid players. It would have been even better had CT not been sent home after the first episode. Also, the games of the duel were all good except the elevator one. The deliberation period after each mission was dumb though and I hated how they paired the guys and girls up on the final mission. If they could tweak a few things from Duel 2 for the next duel and and compile a strong group of competitors they would have an awesome challenge.
Lol RMD well that cause he didn't face Evan in a duel but I do give him props as Wes was really really a strong dude at the time. Goo punch I do agree that D2 had the best competitive cast. The game would've been a whole lot differnt if CT had stick around I agree.
NOPE!! LOL As I recall The winner of D2 was also on D1 and lost. :)
That is true but on Duel2 Evan was called in a few times so atleast he physically pulled his weight on that challenge
That's why I admired Evan on that challenge. He was targeted as a "big dog" but actually went in and proved himself multiple times.
Yeah, and Duel 2 had stronger competitors than D1 IMO. Oh and the winner of D2 trumps the winner of D1 :D!
Duel 2 did have stronger competitors. It was a shame CT and Adam got into that fight because I'm sure we would have seen more competitiveness than we actually got. Evan was a kick *** winner on Duel 2 and I love him because I just hate Wes more :D

This is why I can at least respect Evan as a competitor. Yes, he plays the game shady, and somehow latched onto the main alliance in D2 despite never having done a Challenge with Mark or Landon before, but he did get called out 3 times and answered the call each time. And he won the final mission, which wasn't an easy one, and had to make up a ton of ground to pass Brad. Can he be a bit of a d-bag? Yes, especially if Kenny's with him, but he's been a consistent performer since he started doing the Challenges.

Yup, Evan is the only one I respect out of that whole clique.
I'm kind of disappointed in the fact that with as many elimination rounds that Evan has seen, we've never really seen him in anything that is a physical, head-to-head competition that requires toughness and physical strength. DUEL 1 Lost to CT at Ascender GAUNTLET 3 Beat Johnny at Sliders DUEL 2 Beat Davis at Spot On Beat Nehemiah at The Elevator Beat Derek at Spot On
Yeah you're right, Evan has never seen an physical elimination round, but I'm sure he will perform well if he does one. It would be great to see him in a match vs. Landon, Mark, Wes, Brad, CT (even when he may not come back in the future), Derrick, Ab or Darrell... If I'm missing a great male competitor let me know (I know I am :) 'cause I'm not an old fan)
I would love to see Evan in something physical. I would also love to see Kenny in something physical. I don't necessarily care for him, but I would have liked to see him on the Duel 2.
I think Evan would do great in a physical contact match up. He's done well at some missions that do with physical stuff. Look at the Ruins when Brad and Dunbar tried to pull him off from that pole. He wouldn't budge. As for Kenny, I don't know how far he would have made it in Duel 2...
As for Kenny, I don't know how far he would have made it in Duel 2...
Probably eliminated after MJ. He probably would have been called in a lot based on the Duel events he would only be suited to Back Off and Push Over. The Derek's, Dunbar's, and Nehemiah's would have called him in hoping for Spot On, Duel Pole Dancing, and Elevator.
They have said that Kenny isnt very coordinated but he has figured out a puzzle during Fresh Meat... I'd be curious to see those skills now that he has a few wins and experience under his belt
They have said that Kenny isnt very coordinated but he has figured out a puzzle during Fresh Meat... I'd be curious to see those skills now that he has a few wins and experience under his belt
I think Kenny solving that puzzle was just dumb luck. I'm pretty sure Kenny and Tina would have won if they didn't even solve that puzzle, of course they didn't know that at the time. I think Kenny's be quality is that he downplays his ability. He's so hung up on being "Mr. Beautiful" that he is mistaken for weak.
I always figured Kenny didn't do Duel 2 because he knew he'd get called in. Apparently, the winners of the Island weren't asked to be on it though (which is fine by me). I think that if you win a challenge, you shouldn't be asked for the following two challenges.
