I'm just going to stick with my gut instinct and say the Champions deserved to win because they crossed the finish line first. Yes I still think Sarah and KA are really strong competitors, but in the end didn't win. I think even if production didn't step in that The Champions would still have pulled out the win somehow.
I agree 110 %. The Champions won and there is nothing that can change that. I honestly don't think telling the Champions that they were 1/2 mile behind or whatever had anything to do with them winning. Now if they stepped in and started helping them with a puzzle or something that would be completely different, but that's not the case. Plus, if Kelly Anne doesn't freeze on the bamboo sticks then the Challengers win, but she did freeze and that's what cost Sarah and Kelly Anne the win and not production. But still Sarah and Kelly Anne are two of the best female competitors on the Challenges and I have a feeling they both will win a Challenge or Challenges sooner or later.

I just don't think they would have stopped in their tracks and turned around if production would not have said anything. They would have lost more than likely if the production would have been fair and not interfered. But, they did, so these goons won another challenge. I finally accept that Kellyanne and Sarah did win the final challenge. But, they didn't lose fair and square, thanks to production butting in and tipping off the Champions. If they're Champions, then they wouldn't need any help. Sarah and Kellyanne didn't seem to get lost. And they're just 2 people. But w/e. JEK are "victorius" again...BLAHBLAHBLAH!
Were they a half mile behind or a half mile off course ? I'm confused.
I'm so glad you asked! I f you watch the "Ruins Replay" on MTV.com for The Ruins episode 10. Johnny says they were 1/2 away heading in the wrong direction, and production told them they were going the wrong way. That what came out of Johnny's mouth. Feel free to watch the clip it's entitled "Completely Behind". Completely Behind | Video | MTV I want everyone to see this video. The expressions on everyone's faces (Evan,Susie and Sarah) are hilarious. Sarah looked surprised and Susie and Evan look uncomfortable - like "What are you saying, Johnny!"SHUT UP!" LOL - Priceless. You gotta check it out. :pardon:
kdub, Champions won and as much as you think the Challengers should have won, nothing can be done. Champions remain champions and those two Challengers remain challengers. JEKD and Susie won. Sarah and KA did not. Oh well.

As much as I like all the of the Champions, the format was just too one sided. Especially when production has been so stuck on the rules and fair play in other challenges.
DITTO! CHALLENGERS =TRUE WINNERS! :clapping:
Must suck to "win" for free...

Haha you're talking like there was some good controversy and The girls just blew up like Tiger's golf game.

Johnny admits they were 1/2 mile away heading in the wrong direction, and production told them to turn around and go the other way. I doubt if production had kept quiet and been observers that the Champions would have suddenly stopped in their tracks and turned around, for no apparent reason. I thought production wasn't supposed to be involved or interfere? Here's a link: Completely Behind | Video | MTV Hear it right from Johnny's mouth!

I probably wouldn't enjoy watching them again.
I didn't get anything from these people the first time around. The first time around I definitely saw challenge regular in him instead of Eric or Ryan.
I think LINETTE should come back!! She wasn't a weak competitor; her and Shane won a few missions. She also had a showmance with Theo. She got WAY more screentime than Eric, Ryan, and Evelyn, and she never came back? Also, Aviv definitely should have been called back; she won, why wouldn't they?? Ugh, BMP makes me upset sometimes.
*waits and whistles for mph922 to co-sign on the LINETTE coming back*
Linette was cute. No one was really against her on fresh meat so that may have been a reason why she was pretty quiet. But it would be interesting to see her back and have her be more aggressive.
If I remember correctly, Linette was pretty pissed off when she lost the exile. Maybe she didn't enjoy her experience? That or BMP never asked her back, which could be a strong possibility as well.
I'm re-watching The Ruins and I wish a counter-alliance was formed on the champions side against Evans alliance! They had the numbers! They should've gotten together day 1 and done something =T Veronica definitely realized their alliance too late. She actually wanted to play fair until she overheard Evan, Susie, and Johanna's conversation. If Veronica and Syrus won their "ruins", the show would've been way more interesting cause they were both pissed off! I would've enjoyed seeing Veronica flip out and cause s#!t like on "Inferno 2". Too bad Syrus also realized too late about what was really going on in his team. After Veronica left I stopped watching cause all of the entertaining drama-filled people left (Veronica, Katie, Tonya, Wes, Ev).

None of them went in except Johnny,And only cause he had to. Darell and Syrus should have put JEK in theoir place. And instead of Derrick trying to lay low, he should have teamed up with Darrel and Syrus.Derrick was in the middle until he was solidified to be with JEK.I hope the next Ruins, if JEK are in it, that JEK will be the bottom-feeders. Maybe throw in Alton, Abram, Wes again. Some older veterans won't tolerate JEK's mess. These Goons won again, and only cause production assisted them in the final challenge.
kdub, I know you don't like JEK and consider them "goons" but we get it already. You wanted Sarah and KA to win. And I'm tired of hearing how people want old Derrick back and think he's just a sheep now. Well guess what? New Derrick, teamed up with JEK, is winning. Old Derrick where he had to take a lot of chances didn't win. So it think he would much rather be "old" Derrick. We don't know how some of the older Veterans would handle JEK. And why would Darrell and Syrus team up against JEK? Syrus I can understand by Darrell was working with them and he was going to make it to the final if he hadn't freaked out and hit someone. I don't see why there needed to be a "counter-alliance" because most of the people, JEK looked out for. Darrell was looked after, Susie until the end, Johanna, etc. Only people who got the short end of the stick was Syrus, Wes, Ev, Veronica and Ibis. Syrus getting the short end makes sense because out of the remaining guys and 3 guys who were in the circle, he was the worst competitor. Wes it makes sense too because no one liked him and he tried to throw a mission. Ev it makes sense because she was the only person who could take out KA and she knew it. Veronica it makes sense because everyone thought she was going to throw the mission and she hadn't really proved to be the strongest girl on the team. Ibis it makes sense because at that time she was the weakest girl on the team. Sure JEK's tactic aren't always the nicest but get over it.

Old Derrick never won, so he did whatever it took to win and if that means alligning with JEK so be it!!
I think being married with a kid, Derrick would now just prefer to take a back seat and not get mixed up in the drama on these shows. He's gone from being a young, drunk rebel to being a seasoned, respected old school player. It appears JEK just have chosen to look out for him because he's a good guy, a solid competitor. They seem to respect his input on things and even opted to send Johnny to the Ruins instead of him. I think it's similar to what happened with Mark on the Duel 2...he had been doing Challenges (and doing well) for so long that others kept him safe out of pure respect.
Does anyone have a list (or the time to go back and make a list) of the prizes from FM2, and who won them?

Alton even sacrificed himself into The Inferno on Inferno 3. JEK are scared to go into a duel, and they have said before that its a crapshoot. Even if Syrus was the weakest, they are so-called champions. Why the heck should Syrus have to go in twice? Why should Darell have had to go in again, when they both had been in once. Even when they were doing nominations, Kenny was like "well, I haven't been nominated in a while, so i guess i'll go in." A true champ would have said, "What the heck, I'll go in". I'm just tired of JEK acting like they all big and bad," They're a disgrace to the title "champion". I don't think I can bear watching more than one of them on a challenge at one time. They're GOONS! LOL
