Brad could've spoke up and said something to Rachel about helping him dig, but he didn't. Whose fault is that? Do you think somebody like CT or Evan would sit back and do all the work in a situation like that while their partner just stood and watched? Hell no, they'd be yelling at them to pull their own weight. Brad was gassing before they even got that far anyways. I can also assure you that Evan was not a "yes man" on Gauntlet 3. He and CT were hatching plans before and all throughout that challenge. Evan came up with a lot of ideas for who to get rid of and how they were going to go about it, and he bounced those ideas of CT (the leader of the team) and that's how stuff went down. Brad wasn't too cool for anybody, he was just like Danny. He did what he was told and fell in line because he knew he was expendable if it came to that. As alucard666 pointed out above, Brad's level of individual success on the two Duels compared to Evan is laughable. If you are going to say somebody is a better competitor than somebody else, at least back it up with some logical evidence... but I guess you can't do that since the concrete evidence of what actually transpired on the challenges in regards to Evan and Brad's level of success on each show doesn't point in your favor. Evan didn't even consider Brad to be a remote threat to him whatsoever on the first Duel, if you recall. Also, what is with thinking Brad is so much smarter than either CT or Evan? Last I checked they don't let idiots and numbskulls into colleges like Dartmouth and Cornell, which is where they each went. Evan showed he could lead a team very well on The Ruins and CT did an excellent job leading his teams to a lot of success on Inferno 2 and Gauntlet 3... there were just a couple of variables beyond his control that prevented those teams from winning the whole thing. Brad wanted no real part of a leadership role on The Ruins and did an absolutely horrible job of maintaining his poise late in the game when he felt the pressure of the game closing in on him. He was being looked upon as a leader for that team towards the end when the ship was sinking and he didn't know how to handle it. CT & Evan have to deal with that kind of pressure of being in the leadership position each and every day they wake up during these challenges.
Pretty bummed that the Inferno 3 isn't available on MTV.com, I wanted to go back and watch that season.
Btw if the next challenge films in or around November 9 you can count Mark Long out as he is hosting the Reality Bash that takes place that night.
Pretty bummed that the Inferno 3 isn't available on MTV.com, I wanted to go back and watch that season.
Yeah Inferno 3 hasn't worked on the site in over a year.
So can somebody show us the top 10 list of best challengers? Anybody have a list, if PLEASE SHOW THEM.
i'm sure you'll have some excuse for this, but don't forget that brad sent home ct in the duel.
only because CT got DQed when he shouldn't have!!! It was Brad's fault CT got DQed so really Brad should have gone home GAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! :D
He wanted "the concrete evidence" and that is, Brad won. Ct lost. End of story.
NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
So can somebody show us the top 10 list of best challengers? Anybody have a list, if PLEASE SHOW THEM.
Top ten best challengers of all time(as I have analzyed ALL the challenges). 1)Belongs to Mark or CT(though I give Mark the slight edge, because of his performance on the Duel 2). 2)Belongs to Mark or CT 3) Timmy 4)Alton The next four are in no order, because it's too hard to tell who is better all time. -Dan(RR5) -Theo(RR) -Miz -Landon 9)Darrell 10)Abram -------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't like to include Fresh Meat people so no Evan, and I don't think he's better than any of those guys anyway. Wes, Derrick, Jamie(RW New Orleans), and Brad miss the top ten.
He wanted "the concrete evidence" and that is, Brad won. Ct lost. End of story.
Here's the thing though... CT got disqualified for doing something HE DIDN'T DO! He did not rip the flag up! As I've explained before several times, there was a little metal ring that was looped through the hook holding the flag down and the string. It was used to shorten the slack in the string to keep the flag flat on the ground so that the wind wouldn't be blowing it all over or whatever. CT grabbed onto that hook, lost his balance a bit, and the ring busted and went flying into the air. After that, he regained his composure and unclipped the flag from the ground. Like I said, how could the flag, string, and hook all be still intact if he had ripped the flag off the ground? One of those things would've been ripped apart from the other two things if he had. THAT is what he was enraged about afterwards... it wasn't because he lost, it was because he didn't do what TJ said he did as far as justifying a disqualification.
A "top 10" list is going to be completely up to each person's preferences and observations, and if we all start posting them, we're gonna get into [yet another] big argument and debate about it.
About the Brad/CT debate, its like politics and religion you ain't gonna convince the other side no matter what so why not agree to disagree and move on?

Thanks for the adds. I think Landon deserves to be #1 because he won 3 out of 4 challenges (The Inferno ll, The Gauntlet 2, and Fresh Meat ll). He also has one of the best elimination record and the challenge he didn't win he won many missions and was placed 4th. So he deserves to be number 1. [Adds by Superboy: Chadwick, Nathan, Colin, Holly Brentson] - @ CrazyRealityGuy I honestly was missing one girl that I forgot to put because I deleted the list on my paper. I actually did have Holly #12. So thanks for reminding me, also I know I just switched it before you told me.. cause I knew there was something wrong (brain ****). I don't remember much about Emily Bailey, but I remember her being conversated in a lot of pages, so I am asking you CrazyRealityGuy what would you rank Emily in my list?[Adds by CrazyRealityGuy: Holly Shand,Emily Bailey]
A "top 10" list is going to be completely up to each person's preferences and observations, and if we all start posting them, we're gonna get into [yet another] big argument and debate about it.
Not if you ******** all the challenges and based it on what the competitors have down in both missions and elimination rounds, what they've shown in physical prowess, mental strength, and smarts. Some competitors are too close together in terms of strengths(Like Mark and CT, then Miz, Theo, Dan(RR5), and Landon) it's hard to judge, so I give it a tie. I don't have a basis, i'm just basing it on what I know and seen. If I had a basis, I would rank Darrell higher than Landon, as I really like Darrell and wish he'd shown more as a competitor(and I believe he could of) than Landon did on his challenges, but he didn't(as far as missions goes, not elimination rounds). Also, there is something called common sense, like I know Brad is not a better competitor than CT.
What are some mistakes of my lists?
1)Well, you have Landon ranked number 1. 2)Timmy ranked 7th. 3)Derrick ranked 9th. 4)Kenny ranked 13th. 5)Jamie(RW New Orleans) ranked 16th. 6)Wes ranked 17th. 7) You said Evan and Kenny are equals. 8)As for your wild cards-You don't have Colin, Christian(RR2), Antoine, Nathan, and Chadwick. I know for a FACT, that all those competitors(Nathan is the only expection) were better than "precious" Johnny and Kenny, even with their one challenge performances. There are also mistakes on your female side. You didn't mention Holly(RR9), who is the best Road Rule female competitor all time. Sure she only did won challenge, but she should be top 2. And you didn't mention Emily and Holly Shand, who both are top 5 all time. Christina(RR12), Kendal, Roni, and Ellen also belong in the top 15, even though they did(expect Roni) one challenge. They were still more impressive in one challenge than Beth, Paula, Jenn and etc.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your biggest mistake is basing it off winning challenges, which is only important if that competitor won on a challenge like the BOTS(where you are counted for your performace as an individual competitor), or if that competitor REALLY contributed to the team and won missions and elimination rounds. It's not just about winning, because luck is involved most of the time, especially with team challenges. CT was a better competitor than Landon on the Inferno 2, but Landon won with his team because his team was better than CT's team. That doesn't mean Landon was a better competitor than CT. It's quite simple.

And on Inferno II, Tonya and Tina lost it for them. I think Rachel should be on top of Susie. Evelyn lost on FM and quit to KA. Jodi lost to V. Your list is very thorough, just thinking out loud!
@ Superboy I did add Chadwick(#35), Nathan(#39), and Colin(#26), but I didn't add Christian because I did not see much of him.. so I can't just put him there.
Christian was on the RW/RR Extreme challenge and outperformed Jamie(RW: New Orleans) in pretty much every mission. He was the best competitor there. And we know how good of a competitor Jamie was as he made the final three on the BOTS 1 and consistantly perfomed well on his challenges. Christian was a better version of Antoine, a slim goofy european, but a great competitor(like his Road Rules season 2 partner Timmy). He wasn't the physically strongest guy, but a HIGHLY skilled competitor. Just a summary of him just so you know. And as for Landon winning 3 challenges. His only quality win was on Fresh Meat 2, but he was still going against the likes of Kenny and Noor(who had Jenn as a partner), and Pete. On the Inferno 2, he had a final team of Miz, Darrell, and Jamie Chung(who could hold her own in a mission final), while the other team was slowed down by Tina and Tonya and bad communication. On the Gauntlet 2, he was just lucky to be part of a team with a superior nucleus. His elimination rounds aren't impressive either. He beat Dan and Karamo, both bottom competitors, and lost to Brad(even though he was a superior competitor). He didn't come up cluth against Brad, he choked, and that is why it is hard for me to put him over the Miz as a competitor because the Miz was clutch.
Thing is you can't know for a fact how certain competitors would fare against another, and also Challenges before Gaunlet or even Inferno were way different than now a days were there is a loooooooot more risk involved and way more complicated. Some challengers can have a great run on one challenge and suck the next, it is all about the situation involved. How is Evan not in the top ten when he basically dominated Duel 1 and Duel 2, splitting those challenges with CT and Landon, dominated FM1 before he got hurt, was a huge factor in Gaunlet 3 and Ruins..is beyond me. I'm a huge fan of Dan Seltzer but he only has 2 Challenges compared to Evan, and as much as I dislike JEK, Evan has proven to be a great competitor. Is he a ******? Is his social game evil? Yes but it doesn't take away from the fact that come challenge time he brings it.
Evan is a top competitor no doubt, if I would have to swollow my pride and include the Freah Meat people, he would very well be top ten though it's tough. The only competitor I see him being better than possbily on my top ten list is Abram. He was great on Fresh Meat, but on the Duel 1, he mostly won with Jodi, and on the Duel 2, he got outpreformed by a 37 year old Mark. He did win the Duel 2, but only because he had Rachel as a partner. If it was just a race to the finish, Brad could have very well won. He did win duels, but it was against bottom competitors. He also gets very flustered during elimination rounds and is a coward(like when he copied the puzzle on his hand on the Duel 1, in order to beat CT....FAIL). And as for Dan(RR5) being better than Evan, well he was. He was not as physical strong as Evan, but a far more rounded competitor and highly skilled. He was more valuable to a team than Evan. He also made it to the end of one of the most hardest challenges (if you were a male), and that being the BOTS 2. If you messed up in one mission, you were out(Miz and Abram got out early and we know those two are great competitors). Eric(RW:1) stated that Dan(along with Theo) performed "flawlessly", and he wouldn't know who to choose out of Dan and Theo as a partner. Dan was on par with Theo as a competitor, and I believe Theo was a better athlete than Evan, as he was capable of outperforming Alton in a climbing mission(the "Inferno" mission on the Gauntlet 1, beating Alton and getting the best time), and he was bigger than the Miz.

Emily was talked about, because she was sneaky and manipulative, but in a more passive way than Veronica. She was also extremely strong (Remember Stairway to Heaven, she was the fastest girl up the ladder). Seeing how she was on 3 challenges and made it to the end of 2 (and left at the end of 1) I would place her below Ruthie but above Robin, I would put her at 14. I honestly think Emily could hold her own on these "new" challenges. She wasn't scared or intimidated. She was tough, and had a clear head during all challenges. She never got flustered. A great quality you need in an elimination round. She kicked *** and all her challenges. She was physically strong... Her, Ellen and Ruthie dominated for the girls on BOTS I. She and Timmy came in Second after Holly and Theo in BOTSeasons and she was the strongest girl on the Extreme Challenge. I honestly do think she is one of the top 10 female challengers of all time.

Yet, how can she be ranked higher than Sarah? And Sarah Rice should be ranked higher! She has a perfect elimination record! She is undefeated in 1-on-1 elimination rounds. She has performed very well in missions!(Very Well!) She had an great rookie debut! Cutthroat is her 3rd challenge. She was runner-up on her first challenge! And she performed amazingly well! Robin has never won a challenge(as far as I know). How is she better than Sarah? How are the Paula, Laurel, Diem and Tina (who has never won a final challenge)? And Johanna is NOT a wildcard! She is horrible athlete and a horrible competitor! I liked the variations of cast-members. It'd be a better list without the Freah Meat. And I know KEJD have won challenges. I choose to disregard the challenges they win as real wins, despite the fact that they did win. I understand they did win. And as far as experience goes...It shouldn't be a factor of how many challenges they've been on, if more challenges give them a higher rating. Now, let's not forget: 1)Johnny lost his first 3 challenges and his first 2 elimination rounds. He has lost more challenges than he has won. Also, he has lost more elimination rounds than he has won. 2)Kenny lost his first 2 challenges and he is 0-1 in elimination rounds, for 7 challenges! He was beated by Nehemiah. 3)Evan lost his first 3 challenges. I think some people are outta place. And I wouldn't mind if you got rid of all the Fresh Meat on the list. haha.

All these competitors are better then Sarah Rice. She hasn't done anything special to beat them on my list. it doesn't make any sense if you go that way, according to your theory, CT and Brad have lost all his challenges so they don't deserve to be in that list, let's talk about evelyn who has been in 6 challenges and she has only won two so according to you, she doen't deserve to be in that list come on give me a break
The list has flaws, like everything else. Everyone's list will have flaws in other people's eyes. Give RealityToast a break. He said to make your own lists too.

I don't think people should get a higher rating just for being in an alliance. I think playing the game individually and winning shows a better performance. Paula made it to the finals on Inferno 3 because Aneesa had a bum knee or ankle or something. However, she did win, so I'll give her that. Paula has gotten better, but she has sucked on her challenges. She is whiny, and always depends on an alliance. Do you know why? Becuz she isn't a good competitor. Paula was the first girl sent home due to losing an elimination round.Aneesa handles her. On the duel 2, Aneesa handled her again.on the Island, Jenn and Tyrie helped Paula get her key! Pauala was a vet on Gauntlet 3 becuz she had done 2 prior challenges. Cutthroat is Sarah's 3rd. so she should be considered a vet, also. And on fresh meat 2, paula left right after sarah, becuz of a social game! And fresh meat challenges are partner challenges, not individual or team challenges where people face-off 1-on-1 style. No one has ever given Paula any type of praise becuz she sucks. There are some people that were worried about taking on KA and Sarah. That's craziness to say that Paula is better than Sarah. Maybe socially, but not athletically.Paula has done absolutely nothing to deserve a win. I'm sorry but that's ridiculous.Even Derrick said Sarah was won of the best. Not the best. But, one of the best. Paula's a wreck. Also, Paula is 0 for 7 in challenge wins. You gotta be kidding. I'm assuming you're a Paula fan. Also, you said nothing about social game being a factor. Your list is partial and unfair. Yet, it is YOUR list so I can respect that. And Tina!haha! She is entertaining to watch, but please. Tina has only won 1 elimination round. I don't know how many she has lost. She has made it to 1 challenge finale just like Sarah. Isn't she 0 for 5 in chalenge wins? Laurel isn't easily better. She's a great competitor, yet her and Sarah have yet to face-off. You can just say she's better becuz than her without them facing. And as for Diem, people felt sorry for her on the duel. that's why she made it as far as she did. Diem isn't worth my time to write anymore about. Don't ask for critique on your list if you're gonna be biased and include social game, if you want to make a list of real athletes and competitor. That is all...
