Cut Throat - Laurel Stucky

If you had a foot on many of the girls there you'd probably dominate as well.
Laurel has proven herself. No one will be as bad as Casey except for Shavuon.
I think Brooke is worse than Casey..the helmet incident stands out.
I personally think Laurel has to prove herself more, for sure, but she has proven to be a good, solid competitor so far. Examples: In the Elimination round against Sarah and Vinny in FM2, she was basically in front of Kenny telling him to keep going. In the challenge with the horse race, Cara Maria finished first, she finished second. In the swimming challenge, Sarah was faster than her, therefore it it evident that the time was her time (If it was Sarah's time it would be better), yet she still beat Derrick and Johnny's time. I know you say Luke was slowing down Abram, but Derrick and Johnny's time was slowing than hers. We cannot say "IF she wasn't with Sarah she would fall" as much as we cannot say "If she wasn't with Kenny, she'd still win" Just doesn't make any sense entering into those discussions about what could have happened BUT DIDN'T. All in all, I think that everyone has their opinion. Laurel has to prove herself more, especially with one-on-one elimination round, but so far, she has been giving a solid performance and cannot by far be considered weak.
Apparently, Laurel doesn't come here any more. You think we chased her off?
Honestly? Probably.
Apparently, Laurel doesn't come here any more. You think we chased her off?
Most cast members don't visit because they don't want to read all of the negative **** and people were saying some nasty things after the big easy situation so she may be done with the site. But other than that I'd say they use it as their best source for all things Real World/Challenge wise.
I didn't even know that Laurel ever posted here... Man am I out of the loop or what?
I didn't even know that Laurel ever posted here... Man am I out of the loop or what?
I didn't either. I think yall did run her off lol.
I know she signed up to apologize about the Easy situation (in this very thread I believe) and then was outed for posting some more similar inflammatory remarks way after the fact on facebook (also in this thread).

Its why they only post when they have too.
Laurel has in the past, made cold comments about the physical appearance of Katelynn, so therefore I have no issues making cold comments about Laurel's physical appearance. Tit for tat. My post about Laurel was just that, a post about Laurel, not about you, or any other "bigger" women, so if you take offense from my post then there's nothing I can do to help.
not to mention the way she trashed Big Easy that one night while they were in the hot tub...
not to mention the way she trashed Big Easy that one night while they were in the hot tub...
Why's this still going on? Seriously, people have said far worse to each other on the show than what she said to Easy and if you watch past challenges, he's also said some ****ty things to his castmates. I'm not condoning what she did, but ******* come on, enough's enough. She was burned at the stake plenty and her *** is charred just fine already. Alcohol + conflicting personalities = loud mouths. The guy got his 15 minutes out of it by keeping it going and there are better things to talk about, like how Christmas shopping sucks.
...and there are better things to talk about, like how Christmas shopping sucks.
Christmas shopping really does suck. Thank goodness for amazon.com!
Christmas shopping really does suck. Thank goodness for amazon.com!
I like the change of subject. Stores are sucking now! Laurel stopped posting because she wanted to move past the whole Big Easy thing, and if she kept coming on here, it would be a constant reminder. She also knows some people wont forgive her so what's the point of repeating herself?

Why read about how people think you're the witch that got the house dropped on you if you don't have to? People have officially lost their minds. I'm going back to buying everything online and ordering pizza or Chinese till February.
Love her or hate her, she is clearly the best female competitor on this challenge. If she was all competition than she would probably would just fade in the background, but I actually like the fact that she's somewhat of a mean girl because its funny seeing the amazon chick being a ***** to everyone. And it's even funnier because she can back up everything she talks because no other chick is comparible, especially the ones on this challenge.
RMD1, you can have your opinion, but you plan to use weak and contradictory arguments with which to prove those opinions to be facts is not succeeding. And also, 90% or more of the challenge seasons have been team based. Having said that, being part of a team does not mean that individual abilities and standout performances just dont count as proving oneself. With few exceptions, good players are good players, whether in a team or alone. A strong player is not going to perform well in a challenge with a team and then lose all that skill in a one on one setting. Seeing how well she competed with Kenny in FM2, it seems completely ridiculous that you think she wouldn't be able to perform on her own. However, my main qualm with your argument is that not only do you fail to see laurel's strengths, but you use the team based design of this season as evidence of her weakness, repeatedly saying that she is "unimpressive," and "not that great." The reality is that the same could be said for literally everybody in every team season of the challenge. Clearly, being part of a team doesn't make them weak, so what about Laurel is it that makes you doubt her skill?
If she had a different partner how do you know they would have finished prior to everyone's time?? They can have a bad day. The first time she had a chance to show people her skill on an individual basis she did not. Maybe I will change my mind, but for now I am not going to.
Both of these challenges were team based. Laurel fell because there was no one on the other side to help her up, as she was the first to go. Most of the girls needed help to remain in the challenge.

I like that she's a bit mean (only when for sensible reasons) and she will say what she has to to your face. She hasn't proven herself to be a backstabber/gossiper type.

Personally, I don't think it's the least bit funny. I find that sort of behavior completely uncalled for. I have never been a fan of bullies, male or female.

What she said to Big Easy was mean, but honestly, any young person who has ever seen him on a challenge has thought the same thing, and she was drunk. There is nothing wrong with people being honest, even brutally so, especially in Laurel's situation, wherein she feels underappreciated. (Cara Maria situation). I give her a lot of credit for being brave enough to say what she feels

Other than that, not impressed. You can have your opinion, but that is just an opinion. When she proves herself, which I believe she will soon, then talk to me.
Please tell me when she has yet to have a "standout" challenge.. I have not seen 1. Abe was her partner in that 1 challenge they did. Other than that, not impressed. You can have your opinion, but that is just an opinion. When she proves herself, which I believe she will soon, then talk to me.
It seems as thought everyone she has "partnered with," she has done really really well. That says something. If you are using the point that she went with Abe and therefore it doesn't prove she's a good competitor, then what would you say about Johnny and Derrick who went together? They are NOT good competitors? Are you willing to say that? If you're using that measure, you have to use it for everyone. None of these challenges are done completely without partners or teams. The fact that she was a big part in the missions they won and the ones they almost one, proves she's a good competitor. The fact that she almost won with Kenny, proves she's a good competitor, (unless of course you're saying Kenny's that great). I respect if you say she's a good competitor, but you wanna see more out of her. I think that's a fair statement, but to downplay her abilities and basically hint at her being unimpressive, I'd have to strongly disagree with that.
I am NOT saying Laurel is bad. All I am saying is that I have not seen anything special.
Laurel isn't a terrible competior but she isn't AMAZING either. I would say she is average.
