I actually remember reading an interview from Evan a few years ago where heard Kenny took CT down 10 times in a row. CT then came up from behind Kenny and choked him out. That was what they showed on TV. Here was the link: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/sioncampus/05/04/mtv.evan/1.html

People are acting like CT won because they saw a 10 second clip of CT having Kenny in a rear naked choke hold. They never showed how he got him into the choke hold. I always suspected that CT came from behind. Kenny is a wrestler, no way CT would have a shot in hell against him in a wrestling match. Kenny was seen legitimately taking CT down.

Oh my god. WHO CARES.
Oh my god. WHO CARES.
That's what's being discussed right now. I couldn't care less if you want to discuss something else, I'm responding to the topic at hand. Nobody's discussing the podcast anymore, sorry. This is not the "CT's interview on Derrick's podcast" thread, this is a general thread where we discuss CT.
Clearly people care if they're continuing to discuss the matter.

Having to read all these useless posts about who thinks what happened in a stupid wrestling match is a pain in the balls, so I'll continue to ***** about it all I want, whether or not I have your seal of approval. You keep saying CT punked out by not swinging at Kenny, which not only makes absolutely no sense, but it's caused this argument to go in circles. I'd also like to point out that it's been well documented around here than Evan has lied in interviews before. In addition to the fact that he was best friends with Kenny and clearly was still bitter about losing to CT in The Duel at the time that interview took place, I'd be very weary about believing anything that comes out of his mouth.

I couldn't care less if you ***** about it or not, as long as people keep discussing, I will keep discussing it.
As far as me saying CT looked like a punk because he didn't throw a punch, that's only part of the reason. It's the fact that he was mad that Kenny took him down, started *****ing about it, then said he would knock Kenny out multiple times, and proceeded to do absolutely nothing when Kenny got in his face.
And like I said, I didn't even believe CT got Kenny in a rear naked choke legitimately before I read what Evan said. Kenny is a wrestler, I doubt he would let CT get him in a choke hold.
Furthermore.... It's a Challenge Podcast... If he doesn't want to talk about the show he shouldn't have done it.
I've always been a CT fan. ALWAYS. However this interview was beyond wacky and you, my dear Townie are making very little sense to me.
Who cares who won their little scuffle? Neither of them do.. I'm sure. Also, when it comes to the Podcast, the proof is in the pudding, bro. All one has to do is listen. I'm still on team CT... but he was cooky. (and to be perfectly honest your portrayal of him isn't doing him any favors... So please relax.)
I'm not really trying to do him any favors by portraying him in any sort of way... that's just how he is. He's a very stand-offish and private person that pretty much keeps to himself most of the time. Just because fans of the shows want to know stuff about him doesn't mean he's entitled to share anything about himself with them. Like I said, he's really not interested with the "celebrity/fame" aspect that goes along with these shows... he actually thinks it's kind of ridiculous that so many of his fellow castmembers think they are celebrities. That's why he doesn't accept friend requests from random fans he doesn't know on Facebook anymore and that's why he never answers any questions people ask him on there either. He thinks it's kind of foolish to get all sorts of questions from people asking him how much he can bench & whether or not he thinks he could beat so & so head-to-head.

Bravo for him. His perspective is becoming more common among the ranks of many past reality "stars." But, then, why do the interview?
Townie, you may not be trying to do him any favors... but you really are doing him a disservice. Some of us still hope that his seemingly erratic behavior is poor editing or just plain history. You're just solidifying the negatives.. (what most of us see as negative)..
If you're cool with that.. fine.
Well, I'm sorry that the reality of who CT is doesn't mesh with what you wish/want him to be. What do you want me to tell you? That CT hopes to one day do a cross country tour to meet and great all his fans, sign autographs, take pictures, and promote a tell all book?!

I would settle for "he's not a *********".. but I guess all that works too.
The view reinforces my previously stated view that the interview does not give the MTV Networks attorneys much cover to tell the Challenge insurance carrier that this CT is a new man who represents substantially less risk that that demonstrated during his most recent challenge appearances as a cast member (not as an on camera employee; e.g., Cutthroat).
I don't think it's a question of reforming CT. I've noticed that when cast members are asked their opinion of CT, more often than not they would respond with "he's a nice, cool guy outside the challenge". Recent examples include Katie and Mark in their podcasts and Abe and Ruthie on facebook/twitter. I think it just a matter of CT letting the audience in on the side of him the cast members know. Judging from podcast, it seems like he built a higher wall around his personal side.
I would settle for "he's not a *********".but I guess all that works too.
Neither Kenny nor Derrick flinched when CT said that he "is the least of the bad guys". See the examples above from the older cast members. Being accommodating to fans doesn't automatically make you a nice person. Kenny has called some of his fans ugly. Wes rips girls' shirts off during bar appearances. Bananas hits on girls on twitter even though he has a girlfriend.
I LOVE everything about CT, his rage, his passion and his hotness:wink2:
I'm really glad hes on this new challenge.
I can't wait to see how far he goes.
About 20 minutes ago, Kyle Bolaski was found guilty of second degree murder in the death of Vincent Tamburello Jr, CT's older brother.
This is excellent news. Thanks for sharing it. Hopefully the Tamburello family can reach some sense of closure through the verdict.
CT's dad has worked relentlessly to get justice for the past 3 years, I'm happy that his efforts were rewarded. He lost his business because he was devoting so much of his time to make sure Bolaski paid for what he did.
Here's a news story of the conviction:
WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. -- Kyle Bolaski has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of Vincent Tamburello Jr.
The case went to the jury Thursday afternoon, and they returned its verdict after only a few hours, convicting him of second-degree murder but not of the lesser aggravated assault charge.
"We're just so so happy that they saw the evidence that was there, that they went by the evidence and nothing else," the victim's father, Vincent Tamburello, said following the verdict.
Bolaski's trial was never about whether he killed Tamburello, but about whether the shooting was self-defense, or murder.
During closing arguments, prosecutor Kevin Griffin said Bolaski had no choice when Tamburello started chasing a group of his friends with an ax.
"If I am attacked by someone I get to defend myself, and if I'm attacked with a deadly weapon, then I get to use deadly force to repel the attack," Griffin told the jury.
The prosecution said Tamburello was hurt after the first shot, and the second shot that killed him was murder.
"What if there were no guns? What would this look like? Would six people be dead on the ground with their heads split open by the ax? That was never what was going to happen," said prosecutor John Lavoie.
Bolaski left the courthouse in custody and will serve 20 years to life in prison.
The Tamburellos say they can finally move on.
"We got justice for my son," said the victim's father while clutching a picture of Vinnie. "We got justice for Vinnie."
Thanks for the link, Townie. You might want to tell CT that he has a stalker:

I'm pretty sure CT hooked up with both Laurel & Cara Maria a long time ago back when Fresh Meat 2 was airing. They hosted a few parties together during that time.

Not sure if Cara Maria would hook up with CT while she was still with Abram. Plus, she's friends with Diem.
I get the feeling that Laurel might be "stalking" CT. CT is a very private person and never lists his relationship status but he's been listed as "in a relationship" on FB for awhile now, way before they started filming the challenge. Based on comments on FB, his girlfriend was with him during the trial and she seems to be close with members of his family. I just have a picture in my head that Laurel somehow swiped his jersey and sleeps with it every night.

On Brandon's internet radio and TV show earlier today, Cara Marie said that she is monogamous with Abram at the present (and, yes, it's complicated).
I'm not talking about him hooking up with CM on this challenge or anything, I'm talking about when Fresh Meat 2 was airing, however long ago that was. Vinny & CT hosted a few Fresh Meat 2 parties in Boston while the show was airing and CT hung out with both Laurel & Cara Maria quite a bit during that time.
