What!!! I've not heard about this!!! Does he try and commit suicide???
I don't know. Just in the previews at the beginning of episode 1 it looked like Adam on the floor outside a window and I thought maybe they bungeed or something. Since then, it appears there is a slip of a landing but no real balcony. He apparently is going to have a bad night on this episode and be freaking out and one of the girls tweeted this was a sad episode, so I am speculating based on that info that maybe something not so happy is afoot and that was what came to mind first. The only other logical thing would be if he almost fell but not intentionally.
Okay, I went back and looked and didn't see it in those episode 1 previews, but I know somewhere I saw a preview that made me think someone, whom I felt was Adam, was at floor level outside the balcony doors. Maybe I saw something wrong since those things fly by quick, but I have been racking my brains since trying to think of what they could be doing that would have them going out a window.
Wait so Adam doesn't get kicked off next week? Does he do something WORSE than that?!
Yeah I was gonna say...how many episodes are there in a season (not counting the reunion and **** they should have shown)? 12-13ish? And it looks like from the preview on mtv.com he might make it through episode 6 so halfway through the season we're still in week 3.
Wait so Adam doesn't get kicked off next week? Does he do something WORSE than that?!
Since they stuck the 'To be continued" at the end of this episode, I think it is a safe bet he is probably heading out the door by the end of next week's episode. The clip of Leroy breaking bottles was kind of funny--childish, but funny.

I was thinking the same thing. How many episodes can they make out of the first three weeks? It is my opinion that they are dragging this Adam story out a bit to long.

My guess is that things probably turned very boring after he left.
One **** of a positive reinforcement, MTV...let's reward the guy who trashed our suite, consistently acted like it was his first time drinking, cheated on his girlfriend multiple times, and did nothing but **** people off by centering a season around him instead of the other 6 cast mates who weren't d-bags.

Yeah no ****. Guess he got what he wanted...

I guess the Cookie Monster isn't popular
It seemed like it was a short film cycle anyway. I imagine that the second half of the season will be Dustin-Heather and Dustin-Mike drama, and then it'll be a wrap.

What else is coming this season?
Things are definitely going to start getting intense. You’re in for two REALLY big surprises- one next week (episode 6), and one in Episode 8. You’ll be shocked and stunned. Next week, with me, there’s a big surprise you’re in for.
This is from an interview with Adam. Does that mean he's here until episode 8?
The only thing that would surprise me with Adam would be if he left voluntarily. The episode 8 thing causes me to publicly ponder something I have been considering for awhile--I have been suspicious as to maybe if Adam was the one to out Dustin after he got back home to Maine.
This is from an interview with Adam. Does that mean he's here until episode 8?
I think the first surprise is him going home and the 2nd is finding out Dustin's past. That's what I'd guess. I doubt they have any real drama to fill in much space cuz the girls all get along and the guys get along for the most part. Very cohesive cast.
8 - adam leaves
9 - cookie arrives
10 - dustin's secret
11 - more partying
12 - finale
That would be my guess.
Really? I wouldn't have guessed that Adam would stay another 2/3 episodes, hence the TBC. I find it incredibly hard to believe they'd make 8 episodes out of a 12 episode season revolving around 3 weeks out of what, 2 months? Half a season is believable, but not 2/3 a season IMO. I think they'll drag out Dustin's secret a lot more than 2 episodes, so I'd probably guess.
6- Adam leaves
7- cast reflects Adam's actions, ends with new girl arriving
8- Dustin's secret
9- Dustin's secret, new girl doesn't fit in that much.
10- getting over Dustin's secret
11- Partying
12- Final

I believe there is some drama between the Heathers and Dustin, but I'm not sure if it will be shown.

Doesn't Adam stay till the 8th episode?
Doesn't Adam stay till the 8th episode?
Didn't someone say he went to Cancun with the cast after he was kicked out? Maybe that is what he thinks we will find to be the big surprise--his return.
Nany said on the podcast that there are 13 episodes in the season...I think Adam will be around for a couple more.
I hope they get Adam on next week and yell at him. Kenny or Johnny would do it but Derrick will probably be objective and whatnot.
Kenny seems to have an extremely negative opinion of him and a very high one of Leroy so clearly he was rubbed the wrong way during Adam's short stay in Costa Rica.
I've talked to Adam multiple times before and he's a nice guy. Wasn't rude or anything to me so I don't exactly see why they wouldn't like him.

I think that was more of "Kenny being an ***** to whoever the person on the podcast doesn't like." Hence how he can talk smack about guys like Chet and others but then like them when they have them on.

"First time drinking". If you think about it the kid probably hasn't had that much experience with drinking maybe a year or 2. He was incarcerated and then on probation so he didn't do anything for years I'm assuming. And he probably didn't drink that much back home. Does anyone know? So, I don't think that was an act, he probably is inexperienced. And when it comes to the cheating, there again go back to his background, juvi isn't the best place to learn about how to treat women. And again he missed out on all the dating in HS so now he's making up for it. I think you've got a guy who is 22 but socially is still a HS kid. From podcasts I've heard, he's one person sober and a completely different one drunk, the alcohol really affects him. Mike says he's a really nice person and I've heard other comments to that effect.
What podcast did Nany say she hated him? I wanna look that up. It's too bad Adam screwed up, I liked them together.

I've been drinking for probably close to 10 years now (almost 4 legally) and I can count the number of times I have ever acted like Adam on less than two hands. All it takes is one time to figure out what your limits are. "A year or two" is more than enough time to figure it out. He has even said that he knows what his limits are (he told Nany he can't do shots or he'll black out), yet continues to cross them every time he goes out. The first time he got kicked out for being ****faced was kind of funny. The third and fourth time? Not so much. What do they need to do, put a ****** on his drink? Hire a babysitter to watch him in the club? It's not his roommates responsibility to make sure he doesn't act like a complete ******* - they're trying to have fun too. I haven't seen any of his other roommates abusing alcohol nearly as much as him. I didn't hear of any of his other roommates getting kicked out of the club or breaking stuff or making fools of themselves.
So being "inexperienced"? It's not an excuse. If you get to the point where you end up being banned from an establishment? Learn your limits. Stop acting like a d-bag.
The kid just do all his best to show that he is born to be on Real World. It's fine. it is clear that years by years this show become more fake than ever. Adam is tipical Ryal Leslie. Well, Ryan was a little bit more interesting because he was pretty REBEL, and Adam just... looks dumb. That's it...
