Ty and Johnny probably weigh around the same but I would bet Emily weighs a lot more than Camila or Diem cause she's so much taller

As for the guys, CT might weigh about 10-20 pounds more than Ty or Johnny. Therefore, Ty and Emily probably have the biggest disadvantage while Johnny and Camila would appear to have a slight advantage for that part of the race, unless there is an additional factor thrown into the mix (like their bags).

I'm kinda happy that so far the elimination rounds look pretty fair. I mean Nate/Princilla had a fair chance against Mandi/Wes it seems, so that's good. Although I hope for a balance because obviously no one wants to see 2 huge guys sit and do a puzzle but also not a drastically one sided game *coughs* Laurel/CM vs Jonna/Jasmine *coughs* Although I am not a Johnny fan, I must say if he wins this, (other than the little skill we know he has and outstanding social game), he also has incredible luck. Sure, he is athletic, but after Rivals (where he started 1 minute behind after a 1 hour lead the day before) to this, if Diem hurts her shoulder in the final(hope she's ok though). He definitely has been lucky. Not trying to discredit his wins so much, so don't kill me Johnny fans, but it was part luck and the other part skill in his athleticism and social game. Still, I hope he doesn't win. Just for the sake of change at least.

I'm not sure if this is the same thing...but in that stupid 15 minute preview, they showed the location of the final to be the Langjökull Glacier in Iceland. None of the challenges thus far had anything where ones own abilities (endurance, memory, strength) gave way to weight. I'll be pretty annoyed if Johnny and Camila win and they got a leg up in that portion of the challenge. Why even include that, I'm confused at how an ability is tested.

Frankly, I don't understand how that was 1) fair, or 2) would have passed the "giggle test" if the FCC staff had looked at it.

Of course on the opposite side, the less weight you have the less control you might have as well if a professional is not running the dogs for you. If there is terrain and the Challengers are driving the sled, then the smaller people may be less advantaged when it comes to obstacles and getting the sled uprighted and other things like that because they would presumably either be less strong or have less weight to heave ho with. Shows I have seen with dogsledding usually involve way more than just sitting/standing there, especially if the sled goes off the path and into the snow drifts, as tends to happen in turns.

Does anyone know if Kenny was asked to come in for Sarah or someone from her Brooklyn season or they didn't try and find a replacement? I would think they tried to get a replacement but everyone turned down the offer so they had no other option.

Then probably the night before the Dome Vinny did something to get him kicked off so BMP couldn't get Kenny (who is the other hook up she's had on these shows) to come to the Dominican Republic for The Dome on such short notice.

It is what it is. As cast members have noted previously, once they get into the game, it is regarded as unfair to the other cast to bring anyone in. The departure has to be so early in the show that there is little or no affect on alliances or competition outcomes.

The LeRoy/Mike relationship was quirky enough that production could sell it to most of the audience -- except for the hardcore critics at a couple of websites who production laughs at anyway.

BTW, I expect the next pairs challenge to be focused on crushes and these types of unrequited pairings if Exes even comes in anywhere near Rivals' numbers. That would be the logical next option. This franchise will run the tires off the rims before they will try to reinvent the wheel IMO.

In a challenge pre interview with Mark on the insider, DIem said the challenge was great closure for her and CT. So no reuniting there. But if they at least are friends from it all, it was worth it like CT/Adam.

But since they are making the whole story around them and being told that they are all rooting for them, people think it could happen. Cara said on her formspring before deleting Diem was single before the challenge, and CT has already strayed from his gf on Rivals with 2 different women. Ct made his clear on episode 1 he wanted to get along "on the challenge" and be on good terms when it comes to winning, so not away from it. If they end up as cordial or even possibiilty of friends, it's a win for them IMO. Plus everyone saying how great they were, it has got to be hardest for those two of any by far. On another note, I wouldn't expect any T-Bone type moments this challenge. Which is dissapointing, but with the pairs being guy/girl, not surprised. I am surprised CT makes it that far with a lot of challenges not physical, unless i am wrong but i would expect a lot of water challenges.

You know what else they didnt show that they should have, is that fight with CT/Ty, this episode was pretty dry so they should have included it and they cant put it in ep 2 because you can see Priscilla in the background so that wouldnt work. I dont get why they put stuff in the trailer that they dont plan on using in the actual show. I think even the Jasmin/Tyrie fight happened before Wes/Mandi's elimination but they're going to put that in ep2. A lot of stuff happens out of order on these things.

BMP has the software as part of their AVID package.

But people have been joking about Ty being gay and Jenn, Paula, Tyler, Brandon, Emily and some others have all made comments about Ty having issues and is not comfortable in his own skin. And they all said this on podcasts so maybe someone brought it to his face.

I guess not that much drama happened this season so they have to spread it out a bit. That Vinny thing is probably gonna be in episode 3.
