The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons - Discussion (Spoilers)

To go along with the SD friendships, Ashley is friends with Melinda as well.

The only 2 teams that I see with strong ties are the Sydney and Brooklyn cast which nobody seems to mention. Sarah, Chet, Dunbar, and Kelly Anne are going to want to work together as they have on past challenges. All on the same team in the Ruins. Dunbar and Chet worked together on Cuthroat. Those 2 teams will have each others back. Some other teams I could see working together are Las Vegas and Cancun. I could see all 4 of those teams possibly trying to get rid of San Diego and St. Thomas early.

I dont know if they had a falling out but it shouldn't hurt their chances.

I actually kind of think Austin might be the odd man out in this challenge. Their pretty much the only vet team, so I see the newbies (which is pretty much everyone) trying to get them out. Plus Wes has a good game only when he has people behind him, when he doesn't he sucks. Plus he doesn't talk to anyone really outside the challenge.

One thing I notice is all of the castmembers this year do not have anyone running their twitter for them as has been done in the past (Kenny, Ayiiia, Emily, etc.), so it will be easier to determine eliminations once a member of the cast starts tweeting again.

Anyone actually putting money on Team Austin? I really want Wes to make it in this challenge but I just don't know about his team

If Wes, Danny, and Melinda can put the drama aside then they are one of the top teams IMO. Not sure about Lacey though.

I would say how well Team Austin does is dependent on Wes poitical game.Can he realistically get enough people to drink his Kool-Aid, since most of the other vets are spread out?

What castmember does everybody think has the highest chance of getting thrown out for fighting?

Can he realistically get enough people to drink his Kool-Aid, since most of the other vets are spread out?[/QUOTE] If the rookies are "challenge smart" like Heather, Dustin, Leroy or Zach (we haven't seen him compete but he was on a few podcasts with Derrick, and he's one of the rookies who wants to work against Wes), then I doubt Wes will be able to really rally a lot people on his side. It might even be like on Fresh Meat I, where the Austin cast (Jo, Wes, Danny and Melinda) were pretty much alienated by the rest of the cast because they were too big of an alliance; but this time it would be because people don't trust Wes. But history has a way of repeating himself, and I'm sure there will always be a few idiots that fall for his crap.

Molds or V1Man: I'm not sure if you guys know this information, but it would be very interesting (and I think others would agree) if you could share possibly which other seasons were considered for this challenge or which other people were considered for alternates. I always find that almost more interesting than the actual cast. If you cannot reveal that info or simply don't know, I understand, just thought I would ask.

Jasmine (Rashida) is also a possibility because she has been into a fight before with Tyrie on Exes. Based on the spoiler thread for St. Thomas, Marie is also a possibility because she pushed someone off of a running boat.

Couldn't help but smile from ear to ear when seeing this cast. Mainly because I just watched RW NOLA2 On Demand and realized how much I enjoyed Jemmye & Knight & because we got Alton & Trishelle back on a challenge. My predictions: Guys Alton: a killer, the best male to ever compete, a little old but we'll see. Chet: don't really know or care CJ: I don't remember him Danny: bummed he's from my area cause he's awful and out of shape terribly. Derek: I don't remember him Dunbar: good competitor, personally annoying. Dustin: good competitor, interested in his social skills this time. Frank: to his credit, he made his season. (Though I barely watched) Isaac: my favorite. Not too good competitively but socially great. JD: I see him vs Frank going down Knight: I love this guy, hope he kills. Preston: from my area, can't wait to see some catfighting with this man lmao Robb: idk him Trey: idk him Wes: great competitor hopefully he shuts up this challenge. Zach: not a fan, but should do well. Girls Ashli: who? Ashley: hopefully leaves first. Devyn: I think she'll surprise, she's jacked lol Jasmine: not bad, great tv Jemmeye: one of my favorites, hope she pulls through. Jonna: probably the best girl. But let's face it, she had no chance against Queen Coral. Overall: Vegas should dominate. Hopefully Nany and Trishelle are athletically capable and Alton hasn't lost his touch.

B Derek: Can't really judge since he got out first on Cutthroat, but that says something bad about his ability, maybe just another washout, but can put up a hell of a fight with anyone... I have a feeling we will see lot of hook-ups on this season! Look at the cast. Young, single rookies. Most of them are drama-kids and are good looking. Reminded me Gauntlet 3.

Once again, in no way, shape, or form do these two resemble each other[/B].[/QUOTE] Jemmye and Kelly Anne are both wild party girl with slick mouths but they really don't look alike Frank and Dunbar are both very aggressive individuals but that's pretty much all their the same on.

So I just read who's going to be on this challenge and I gotta say is YES YES YES!!!! FINALLY. There is just so many things right with this cast I don't even know where to begin.... Where do I start? I mean look at all of the positives. -NO FRESH MEAT! There isn't a single non-castmember on this challenge. Every single person on this cast has actually appeared on The Real World so this is going to be the 1st challenge since Gauntlet 2 to not have any Fresh Meat/Spring Break people -NO JEK!...NO Johnny, Kenny, and Evan to run around and control everything, No stupid jokes, No negativity, No getting to the end and winning for the umptenth time. -Rookies Galore!.....BMP is acutally taking a chance on the more recent seasons and we have a couple of oldies that haven't done a challenge in ages make their return and even one person that I was really SHOCKED to see on the cast. It's so refreshing to see BMP giving this challenge to the Rookies and passing the torch to the new generation..It's been LONG overdue. I gotta say I'm hella excited for this challenge. I just hope that this cast delivers the drama, the entertainment, the gameplay, and the ratings because if they don't. BMP is just going to go right back to overflowing the cast with those Tired old veterans and Fresh Meat/Spring Break dorks and I do NOT want to see that happen.

My predictions Las Vegas: Alton- He will be the leader of his team. He is one of the best male competitors there. Trishelle- I know nothing about her. Nany- She has potential and I feel like a lot of people will like her. Dustin- He's going to be a strong male. He would have made it far on exes if he didn't get injured. Austin: Wes- He is a good competitor. It comes down to where his mouth will take him. Will people follow him or go against him? Danny- He has gained a lot of weight over the years and is too out of shape. Melinda- On cutthroat, in her elimination she proved she isn't as weak as everyone thought. She's a fighter. Lacey- Yikes, I can't believe she is on a challenge. Sydney: Dunbar- He is a decent competitor. He has never done awful but has never shined. Kellyanne- Best female there. She outlasted Rachel on the island. Enough said. Ashli- I can't really judge her based on the island. Issac- He has potential. Brooklyn: Sarah- She is smart and a good competitor.
