In the first shot of all the teams in the elimination area, I'm sure a lot of you think that is when everyone first shows up. But if you look closely, everyone is wearing normal clothes with the exception of 2 teams: Team Austin and Team Fresh Meat. Also if you notice, all 4 teammates are wearing their jerseys/athletic clothing. Which tells me 1 of 2 things, either they choose which two teammates go into the elimination round right there, or all 4 teammates go in 2 vs. 2, and then 2 vs. 2.
I also took a minute to look at the teams and they are in this order (from left to right):
Las Vegas, Brooklyn, Austin, Cancun, Fresh Meat, St. Thomas, San Diego, New Orleans
Oh, some of them were pissed. I know of two who wrote written complaints.
Wow...do these people not have...jobs? Or do they pay their bills living off of Challenge fees?
EDIT: Not really a spoiler discussion...but I wonder why Hollywood has become sort of the "black sheep" of the "newer" seasons. Hollywood was one of my favorite seasons, and they had some pretty interesting personalities. I know both Will and Nick were pissed that they weren't even asked. Does anyone(or Molds) know what that cast is up to nowadays? (Yes I know about Joey, RIP)

That's amazing that you can figure out which team is which based on one blurry shot. I could only figure out Las Vegas all the way to the left. The second team from the left doesn't look like it has any black people, so I'm not sure how you got Brooklyn.

I've been told Johnny doesn't have a job, lives at home with his mother and sustains himself on Challenge earnings. Not sure about anyone else.

I would hate to see what would happen if these Challenges got canceled. That's why it pays to stay in school, lol.

Well you have Chet wearing a bright pink shirt standing right next to him is Devyn. I didn't watch the Brooklyn season but from the pictures I've seen, Devyn isn't Alton dark she is lighter.
Its just a process of elimination, determine the teams who know for sure. I knew it was Vegas because they're close to the screen and could tell everyone there. Austin I could just tell by everyone, Cancun I could tell by how short Jasmine is, Fresh Meat I saw Eric and knew that was him by the way he was standing, St. Thomas I knew because Robb towers over everyone on his team. I could barley make out San Diego because of Frank and Zach, then that only leaves New Orleans for the end.

Not bad. I guess I always thought Sarah was taller. I know JD isn't huge, but I didn't think Devyn was taller than her. Been forever since I've seen them together though.
EDIT: So if I'm getting what you're saying right, we have:
Alton, Dustin, Nany, Trishelle
Sarah, JD, Devyn, Chet
Melinda, Wes, Danny, Lacey
CJ, Jasmine, Jonna, Derek
Brandon, Cara Maria, Camila, Eric
And I can't even make out the last three except that Robb is the third one down on his.

Looks like:
Trey, Laura, Rob, Marie (questionable, hard to tell them)
Frank, Sam, Ashley, Zach
Jemmye, Preston, McKenzie, Knight
Edit: actually now looking back, they're all questionable except SD lol.
I love seeing the competitiveness in Ashley though, taken down Jasmine like that. I am excited to see San Diego compete, especially for how well they did as rookies.
Complaining on twitter doesn't seem like a smart move. If the ratings do poorly, BMP will bring the "regulars" back since they will want to bring ratings back up. If ratings do well, they will be less likely to bring back the ones who complained on twitter. I guess they never heard of: "Don't bite the hand that feeds you"
Also, with the way the Fresh Meat team is acting, did they complete the first challenge without them but then had them involved in the elimination round?
I have a random crackpot theory. So, I remember molds saying there was one kind of shocking hookup. I've decided I think it may have been between Nany and Trey? I only say this because in the trailer Laura says something about a love triangle and when Nany is voiceover-ing about being manipulative, they show Laura and Trey kissing.
Although then again Laura's love triangle comment probably was referencing the current love triangle between her, Trey, and Chelsea on their season. Hmm, nevermind, I really thought I was onto something though. Oh well, I'm just gonna stop guessing things and see how it all unfolds.
I am very confused. You can see the elimination with the partners connected by a pulley, one partner on a ladder and the other upside down, St. Thomas (Marie, blue shirt who looks like a blonde) is on the ladder closest to the screen, and on the other ladder it look like a red shirt. The timing almost seems to line up for Marie and Robb's elimination, I know the order isn't stable but it seems close. Also close to Nany/Alton's elimination but it's definitely a white guy on the other end of the pulley, so I'm thinking maybe Trishelle and Dustin sent home Marie and Robb. There are 10 other castmembers on the side watching.
Actually you can see Dustin's helmet coming out of the water, so that's definitely he and Trishelle and I'm pretty sure they eliminate Marie and Robb. Alton is not on the side watching, so he and Nany are already gone.
You can definitely make out Chet (pink shirt) and I believe Jonna is in the dress all the way to the left. Devyn in the black dress in the back to the right? Blonde next to Jonna, looks like Marie but must be Ashley.
Jonna, Ashley, Derek, Frank sitting, Sarah, JD in the front row. Sam, Chet, Zach, and Devyn in the back. Just trying to figure out a more precise elimination order, seems like Jasmine and CJ were eliminated earlier than projected.

New Orleans goes Knight, Preston, Jemmye, Mckenzie. You can make out Mckenzie all the way at the end with blonde hair.
I for one kind of wish one of Johnny's team (RW: Key West) or Evan and Kenny team (Fresh Meat) would have been on the challenge just to see how they would do without half of their friends on the cast. It looks like these rookies are a smarter bunch and got rid of the load mouth vets early on, Austin and Fresh Meat.
I never watched San Diego 2 but I see why people were anxious to see this Zach guy on a challenge. He looks like a CT type of beast. I'm also glad Zito is back and made it far. He looked like he had potential on Battle of the Exes and Vegas 2 is the only season I've watched since Denver.

Hah, no. I was told Laura and Trey stuck through this one (although Laura shouldn't have).
The "shocking" hookup, in my opinion, was Sarah and Alton.
I think of this challenge the most shocking hook up goes to Eric and Devyn..I am not surprised with Alton/Sarah I would've been surprised if it was Chet/Sarah or Alton and Trishelle. I wonder if there are more hookups then what we have seen.

I'm so tired of everyone discrediting Evan, Kenny, and Johnny. "Oh I want to see how they do without they're friends." Sorry to break it to you man, they're good at this game no matter what, whether their friends are there or not. Do you recall Evan winning on The Duel 2? Or Kenny's performance on Fresh Meat II? Or Johnny winning on Battle of the Exes? On The Duel 2, yeah Evan had Brad and Mark, but they would've pulled his ticket if they had to. Kenny literally was the outcast on Fresh Meat II and still dominated the entire game and made it to the end. Johnny was alone on Battle of the Exes and won the whole thing. Once again, yeah he had Mark but still 2 teams against the whole house is a minority. The only times Evan, Kenny, and Johnny had all the power was The Ruins and Rivals when they were all together.

That was before I knew of Devyn and Eric. Trust me, they take the cake on this one.

Oh. :o Well, good thing I said it was crackpot haha.
I'm still really curious about the whole partner/4 team thing. In the photo of all the cast running in a mission (you posted it in the spoiler thread), I know I made out Preston in it as well. As far as we know, Knight and McKenzie went home together though. I'm excited to see what the actual format is and how those partners change/don't change during eliminations and challenges. I'm hoping that for most of the missions, they get to work in their teams of 4 personally. I'm a little partner-ed out myself after the last few challenges.
Okay so it is possible that Dustin/Trishelle go against Robb/Marie, and in the trailer, we see Trishelle yelling at Robb saying "If you put me in, I will **** you up" so maybe they get to decide themselves who in the team they want to go against or something like that?

As far as I know...
They compete as teams, and the team in last place must decide between them who goes into elimination. If they cannot decide, the winning team decides for them.
I think the second team is decided by the rest of the group, but I'm not positive.

The only thing I fear about the ratings this season is the snobby viewers that just watch for the regulars, that have never seen a challenge prior to Fresh Meat, not wanting to tune in because Johnny, CT, Evan and Kenny aren't on it. Also the clueless viewers that still have their hopes that Holly, Piggy and Chadwick will return (lol) and brush off every new cast because they're new.
Hopefully us loyal fans of the show regardless of who is on it, both new and old school viewers can keep things alive. And hopefully this season turns out great as the trailer.

Whoa hold on there Mr. Furious. I never discredited them as competitors. I think JEK are some of the best competitors currently that is why I wanted to see at least one of them on this challenge against some tough young rooks.
All I'm saying is that I would like to see them get thrown in early and often because they wouldn't have a preplanned finals deal with this new cast since most of them wouldn't know them and would love to test them.
This trailer looks so good. Fresh drama and faces. lol at Knight getting that cool shot of him smoking. He'll probably get some people mad just for kicks.
Frank will probably just get drunk and start drama for attention.
Oh Nany. Seemed so sweet on her season but came to play and manipulate. Hey you have got to get asked back somehow.
Love the Jonna and Zach hookup. The new challenge power couple. Yay.

Not for me. I remember Chet saying on a podcast that Sarah likes black guys now.
Okay here is my conclusion of how the eliminations work. So let's say St Thomas gets last place out of the two couples. They need to decide who should go in. If they can't pick which one, then the winning team sends one of them to the elimination round. Then the house decides who the other couple goes in. Maybe that explains why, in the elimination list, we can see that the teams are almost eliminated right after the other because the couple that's left is left vulnerable to the other teams, and they see them as easy targets to send into the elimination unless they win the day challenge that saves them from elimination. I am sure there is someone in here that can explain it better than me.
I'm dying to see how Alton gets knocked out. He has been so dominant. Can't see anyone weak taking him out. Hopefully he is in shape and doesn't disappoint

What's funny about Nany is that she always kind of reminded me of Johanna, and I remember Johanna saying something very similar during a past challenge (I want to say Gauntlet 3).

Lol who complained? What a bunch of whinie babies. Its not like its their right to always be called back. I'm surprised that Emilee chick isn't complaining, she always wants to be on it but Jonna and Jaz are on it instead. I'm thinking Kenny/Evan are temporarily banned even though Kenny seems to act like nothing is going on. Of all the FM guys I would think Evan or Kenny would be asked to represent FM. The FM team could have killed it if it was Kenny/Evan/Ev/Laurel. You know what's odd, why didn't they include at least one Road Rules team? It's like saying it's no longer RW/Road Rules challenge and kinda like saying the Road Rules guys should all stop coming back, just change the name of the show to the Real challenge lol lame I know.

Who do you think complained? Some people are grateful for the opportunity and know better than to not bite the hand that feeds them. Then there are some that see the Challenge as their God-given right who are trying to milk it for all it's worth. Those are the people who get upset. Hell, I can't say I blame them. When you make more in 6 weeks of doing a challenge than you do in 6 weeks of collecting unemployment or waiting tables, I'd do as many challenges as possible too.
And the name has been changed to "The Challenge" for some time now.
