I've yet to try 666 Park Ave. I gave Elementary a shot and hated it and Partners was also a no go.
Don't waste your time with 666 Park. :p
Don't waste your time with 666 Park. :p
Agreed, it was pretty terrible. I gave up after about 20 minutes.
I thought 666 Park Ave was okay--not great but it has some potential. It's not awful like Partners or as good as Revolution but one episode is too soon to give up on it. Go On is really good, Ben & Kate is awful and I watch far too much TV
Glad to know. I was only giving it a shot for John Locke anyway.
I will only watch if his entire purpose is to convince people to go to the Island.

Elementary, New Normal, Partners, Mindy Project, and Revolution are the best "new" fall shows imo Elemntary - I looooove Sherlock so much, but i also really like how they are doing this new sherlock/criminal minds type show... really fun to try to figure out. Also the new sherlock does a decent job... and im loving lucy as watson.. refreshing to see the character as a different ***. Their chemistry just needs a bit of boost. New Normal - Another Ryan Murphy show... very controversial, but very funny... happy it got picked up cause its hooked me. Partners - Not really sure the hate for this show... its not all that bad. Give it a few more episodes... like all sitcoms, it takes a few to get into the swing of it (look at Will & Grace and Friends). This show, to me is like a mix between HIMYM and Will & Grace. I like the cast and i can't wait to see Molly Shannon join the cast. Mindy Project - never really expected to like this show as much as I do. I love that so much of the cast are actually comedians.. it really helps this show have a genuine light heartedness to it.. pretty funny! Revolution - Still not sure on this yet, but i liked the premiere (still need to check out the rest)... May or may not stick with it, but the premise kinda hooked me... even if it is Hunger Games meets Lost (and other shows). Other new shows that premiered this fall have so far really sucked! Although i wanna check out Nashville... been getting great reviews and i like Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere.
I'm fully expecting everyone to at least DVR "Nashville" tonight!!!
I'm fully expecting everyone to at least DVR "Nashville" tonight!!!
Nay. I will watch it on abc.com though.
Nay. I will watch it on abc.com though.
I always forget that that's an option. But I'm glad you'll be watching. I'm going to feel as if I'm playing a huge game of Where's Waldo the entire time though, due to so many of my friends being extras.
I'm fully expecting everyone to at least DVR "Nashville" tonight!!!
I'm going to DVR it, out of respect to you fab. ;)
I'm fully expecting everyone to at least DVR "Nashville" tonight!!!
What time for those of us in the Mid-West? 8 is the only acceptable hour as I have Survivor and Le Challenge at 7 and 9
I'm going to DVR it, out of respect to you fab. ;)
I expect nothing more :D
What time for those of us in the Mid-West? 8 is the only acceptable hour as I have Survivor and Le Challenge at 7 and 9
It comes on at the same time as the Challenge, so that's why I said to DVR it. But that would be 9.
I'm fully expecting everyone to at least DVR "Nashville" tonight!!!
Yes, I'm in!
I'm fully expecting everyone to at least DVR "Nashville" tonight!!!
Do they sing country music.? If they do I'm out... I will give it a shot because of Hayden.
Do they sing country music.? If they do I'm out... I will give it a shot because of Hayden.
I already watched it on Hulu--they sing a lot--all country It was okay IMO not great but worth a second chance--solid acting, too much of a soap opera feel though IMO
Was Panettiere just as hot as she was in the previews? Or hotter?!
Hotter--though I basically love her so....
Hotter--though I basically love her so....
Me too! I know your plight!
Caught Nashville OnDemand last night and thought it was pretty good, seems like there is a lot of potential with this one... Watching Underemployed right now and can't say I have the same sentiments. Other than being setting in my favorite city, Chicago, and having a character named Daphne, there's not much else I like about it. Parts of the show seemed really unrealistic ($35,000 for the mailboy?), while other parts are too predictable and have been done by other shows, but more effectively. I'll stick with it for the Chicago setting and because I fall into the same mold as the main characters, and because I'm hoping it somehow picks up steam. It is the premiere after all. Also, looking forward to Arrow tomorrow, the lead is really handsome and I've always liked Green Arrow as a super hero.
Also, looking forward to Arrow tomorrow, the lead is really handsome and I've always liked Green Arrow as a super hero.
Arrow was smart casting Stephen Amell and Katie Cassidy. They're giving eye-candy to everyone. I thought that pilot was only okay but definitely has room to grow. ****, I'm surprised the CW didn't give it a second season already after their ratings and how much it helped Supernatural.
I missed The First Episode of Arrow..I'm determined to see the second one tonight.

I decided to take some time today and get familiar with all the new shows that will begin airing over the next few months on network television. I'm going to have to say, it is the worst premiere season I can remember. While I was not happy with the premiere slate last year, I at least sat down and watched a few of the new offerings. This time around, things look bleak and I am not alone in that opinion. I might not watch a single pilot. Is anyone excited about anything?
I am not really excited about anything, but I am going to check out a few shows that have look decent. Grading a show based on the pilot is always tricky, so I usually give shows 2 episodes before I am out on them.
The only thing i'm really excited about is "Hostages." It looks promising. I also will tune in for Brooklyn 99 because I'm a big Andy Samberg fan.

Out of the new slate of shows, the only ones that really interest me are The Blacklist (NBC finally created an amazing show with Hannibal... maybe The Blacklist can follow? plus the trailer makes it look amazing, even though it spoils the whole premiere), Hostages (I love Toni), and Agents of Shield (Who doesn't want to check this out?) But hey, there are still plenty of great shows returning this fall as well (American Horror Story, Scandal, HIMYM, Modern Family, Elementary, The Walking Dead.. and my guilty pleasures: Revenge & Once Upon a Time)
I am one of the many who can not stand HIMYM That's just a god awful front and show, no offense to my fellow gays but it's true.
