Guys, I dont know if you recognized it yet, but Frank has been puting a pretty good show. If you put all the drama he "created" away, Frank is a pretty good athlete and he would beat 85 % of all challengers in a) long-distance running means final (he does marathon for pleasure) b) swimming c) intelligene. Beside strengh and what it looks like a mental dissorder, I dont see any flaw in him athletically.
Where as Zach, clearly is not the best swimmer and almost below average.
So gay guys kissing for 3 episodes straight, zach and ashley being boring together, frank b******* about zach not wanting to be his friend, Nate being an idiot, Priscilla being a whiny little girl, and having basically the whole season focused on gays and how the house was divided is a good season to you?
Excuse me, but what is wrong with gay guys kissing? Do you know how often on TV we see straight couples kissing? And this is coming from a straight girl. Your attitude is extremely offensive.

While I agree with everything you listed, it's all a matter of opinion.
I can't stand Zach. He spent his entire season on TRW going on and on about the "small town" he grew up in... which is a stone's throw from Ann Arbor and the suburbs of Detroit. I'm 100% positive there were other students in his high school that were gay and I felt like he has been inauthentic from the start. Frank is cray cray but at least I feel like he's honest.
I don't watch the Real World so I don't know about that but it is very possible that those that were gay in his high school weren't open. I mean, I can honestly say I never knew anyone that was gay until college--at least openly gay. And even if there were gay people (there were) in his HS it doesn't mean the knew them or interacted with them. My HS graduating class was 400--there were a ton of people I didn't know.
Zach may have been playing a card but I wouldn't necessarily assume in was "inauthentic".
I don't even think Frank is honest. I couldn't care less if Frank was gay or straight--he's just an awful person

This is true. Which is why it would be so fun to see him go up against the likes of CT, JEK, etc. Athletically, he might be able to give them a run for their money. Add in the mental disorder component and it becomes must-see TV.
Zach definitely seems to only be invincible in the strength category. We've learned he can't swim well, and he doesn't seem to have a lot of endurance.
It'll be interesting to see the next few challenges since CrossFit has become so popular, I know a lot of the challengers (including Frank and Zach) have been doing it since the show has ended. Emily Schromm is obsessed with it. But the whole point is to make the athlete good at anything, including weird stuff. We'll see if it works for them!

Well you can't even say he's invincible in strength considering he went to a draw with Dustin in the oil wrestling mission.

Meh. The oil makes it hard to judge. Let's have them wrestle on dry land and we'll see.

I am willing to bet zach is strong, but is mostly model muscle. He looks strong, but it's mostly for show.

I don't know if you've noticed but not everyone is so open to the gay world. Most of us aren't used to seeing gay guys kissing when watching a show. We were always used to straight couples and just recently (this decade) lesbians. But me personally I would much rather have straight couples or lesbians otherwise it's uncomfortable.
Like I got my little brother (he's 16) into watching the Real World starting with Las Vegas (2) and he loved it. Then came San Diego and he couldn't watch the whole season because it seemed like the whole season was based on Frank shoving his orientation down our throats.
And I'm kind of glad you found my attitude offensive because the real real world is offensive and the truth hurts, just go look at San Diego's ratings for their season.
I'm not trying to offend anybody though ;)
when in the blue **** did Alton ever let Zach Punk him? Are we watching the same show?
Oh...you must be talking about when Zack took his hat of during their confrontation. Yeah...he sure showed Alton.(sarcasm)
And that's like saying Dustin sure showed Frank when Dustin didn't beat him up or anything. You see being punked is being made to look like a punk. Zach took off Alton's hat and threw it and Alton didn't do s*** about it! I don't know about you, but I would never let someone do that to me and not retaliate in some way. I mean Alton could have at least pushed him or ripped off his necklace or say "back up you steroid using _____ (insert vulgar word)".

That's because Alton acted like an actual adult and not an immature child. As he said, in the real real world you don't do the things that Zach and Frank do.
Where as in every other challenge we had a good amount of great athletes like Kenny, Derrick, Johnny, Evan, CT, Landon, Darrell, Mark, Brad, Isaac, Cohutta, etc...

What did Isaac do on The Duel 2 that made him out to be a "great athlete"?

It's not even that I'm not open to it. Gay people don't bother me, I have nothing wrong with them, but I mean come on, I think it's pretty nasty seeing two gay guys shove each others tongues down their throats. It's something I'd rather not see. Say what you want, "Clearly you're not comfortable with your sexuality if you can't handle seeing two gay guys make out." I'd rather not watch that stuff.
What did Isaac do on The Duel 2 that made him out to be a "great athlete"?
Remember in the first episode when the cast runs to the house? Well if you watch Isaac made it to the house first.

no he did not. He took it off so slowly, Alton was able to get his hat back casually before Zach could even put his hands down. btw, Alton did say something go rewatch it:"what do you think you're doing, don't ever put your hands on me like that boy or you gonna get hurt." It went something like that.
Going by your logic, there was a clip earlier in the season on MTV website, of Alton looking like he was squaring up to fight Zach after he told him to repeat what he called Dustin. Zach looked like he didn't want any part of Alton there. Even Dustin had to come and separate Alton from Zach. Zach didn't do anything, so by your logic, Alton punked Zach too right.

Of course I've noticed that not everyone is "open to the gay world," that doesn't mean I'm not going to speak out against prejudice when I see it. You'll do whatever you want but you should know that it doesn't matter what makes you personally uncomfortable. You are not entitled to have everything on TV be comfortable for you to watch. The real world is offensive and the truth hurts, dude.
Simply living as a gay person and not hiding that aspect of yourself is not "shoving it down your throat," and actually you're shoving your heterosexuality down my throat right now with this. I don't care what makes you uncomfortable, other than thinking it's a shame there are people like you.

All of this is fine but if the intent is to get viewers BMP need to realize there's a segment that are going to stop watching a show if it is all about "sexuality".
The comment was BMP was shoving it down their throat--not Frank living his life. Frank can do whatever he wants--they're talking about the edit and focus.
There's been plenty of gay guys on the RW before that had relationships and people weren't offended by that--people are offended because Frank was determined to make everything about his sexuality. Even back when the show first started people like Norman weren't as criticized as Frank. Think about some of the things Frank did--I don't care if I had a gay or straight roommate doing that I'd be livid and I really don't have any desire to watch it. If you do then great.
I don't understand why you're criticizing anyone for what they want to watch. It isn't even as though they're saying they shouldn't be allowed to get married or they hate gays. They just don't want to watch it--if you want to watch 2 guys making out constantly that's cool--many men and women don't--even those that are open-minded. I wouldn't want to watch Zach & Ashley make out for 2 straight episodes either.
The problem with the San Diego season wasn't that homosexuality was being shoved down our throats, it was that Frank was shoved down our throats. From what I can vaguely remember, a lot of his sexual behaviour that was making Ashley uncomfortable would have been off-putting, straight or gay. I'm sure they thought a Frank edit would be great, because of all his drama, but he's an unlikable person and it was overkill. Frank wanted so desperately to be close with Zach and Ashley and then cried homophobia every time they slighted him, despite the fact that they (especially Ashley) really liked his boyfriend and were bummed when they broke up. They didn't dislike him because he was gay, but because he was a desperate, psychotic *****. He was so angry and in-your-face about EVERYTHING.

Is there a reason you're getting offended? I'm confused. JayTee prefers not to see two gay guys kissing on TV, I'm the same way and I know others agree... I don't see why we would WANT to see two gay guys kissing. I'm okay with it, it's just that I'd prefer to not see it.

Just trying to remind you guys that not everybody is disgusted by gay stuff, and it's probably nice for gay people to have some representation on TV like straight people do. Being averse to gay kissing while not blinking an eye at the much more common and often more explicit straight content is offensive to me, that's why I'm offended.
Once again, I'm not speaking for the gay community, I just don't like double standards. I probably shouldn't even try with you guys because I'm bound to be extremely outnumbered here, but whatever.

Nah, it's cool. And of course double standards are always going to exist. How would you feel about a guy punching a girl? Repulsive, but one guy beating another up is common. Not looked at as good, but more socially acceptable than a girl hitting a girl. Double standards work in many ways.

Wow--just wow
I don't understand why anyone would feel uncomfortable watching gay guys kiss. Its on the tv, not on the sofa next to you. It would be like watching CSI and feeling the need to call 911.

Some people are uncomfortable watching violence on TV and in movies--doesn't make sense to me either but people rarely make sense.

'cus it's pretty nasty.
To be fair, I am a pretty sexual person, so maybe thats the reason it doesn't bother me. I guess my equivalent would be seeing boring people on TV, I cannot stomach that and tend overreact.
I don't like Sam but I hated the way Frank and Zach treated her during the final. I understand that they were frustrated, but there's a difference between trying to motivate someone and just calling them a "fat *****" (I'm not sure if that was said during the final or during one of the missions). I was really hoping she would have defended herself better on the Reunion but the way she acted just made me dislike her even more - at least she gave the big ** to them, which is all I wanted. For some reason, I still like Frank and Zach though. They're entertaining to watch. I've always liked Ashley, and I agree that she does seem like a pleasant person.
I'm very bipolar with my thoughts on team San Diego, haha.
Gabbi from the bad girls club has an upcoming club appearance with Zach. Interesting because they dated and now hate each other. She tweeted to Trey that Zach is now dating another real worlder from Boston. Does anyone have any idea who that is? The only one who comes to mind is Emilee from Cancun. Don't believe its her cause she's friends with Jonna, but then again lol...

Oh, duh, you're right. She is down in Michigan right now. Kind of a weird couple. Would love to see what she could bring to the challenge though.
