Emilee was an alternate for Battle of the Seasons, so she would have been on had Jonna (shudder) or Jasmine dropped.
If possible, can anyone specify what was so horrible at the conditions on the Ruins that turned cast members like Veronica, Casey, and Kimberly off? Was it just how bad JEK was?

Veronica, katie, ibis, kim, and casey said they were done bc production ran the ruins like a boot camp. There was no air cinditioning and they couldn't leavr the house at all. Add that they no longer were allowed to use cell phones or computers, plus the stress they said they endured from the guys of the house, they were all ready to move on.

Didn't Katie appear on Cutthorat though (?), but ouch, must've been unbearable as it was said to be very hot over there. I'm guessing the Ruins was the first challenge where they were not allowed to really use technology? Completely understandable as to why they don't want to do another, though I still would love if Kim returned and did another one, one day.

Yeah. Veronice, Ibis, and kim were using the ruins to see if they would continue challenges....well we see what happened.

Derrick said on one of his podcasts that he heard she was banned because she linked a bunch of spoilers about Cutthroat when she was on there. I don't if it was true, he said that a long time ago and she has been begging to get asked back but they haven't. Johnny also said she gossiped a lot about the show so maybe production doesn't like her? I have no idea but I would love to see her back!

Oh wow, had no idea. I'm sure over time she'll be asked back and I would like to see her return too. We never got a fair grasp on what she could or could not do.

I think we are seeing Frank and Zach again. :( I want to see Jonna again, but how she was on Rivals. She didn't hook up, kiss no ones butt, even if that meant going to an elimination round. I don't think we are seeing Lacey again, since she said on the reality radio podcast that this was the first time they have ask her to be on a challenge since her season of real world Austin in 2005. It took them 7 years to ask her and they just ask her in order to have Melinda/Danny. She was their only option since Johanna moved on from The Challenges and Rachel was pregnant. I don't two those 2 funny comments made her a priority to get asked again.

Guys, please you should have saw this coming. Frank and Zach dominated the last season(Well they didnt had really competition), but they won the season. They are both pretty good athletes, they are cocky, they can deliver plenty of drama and they say that they are not afraid of any challenge(rs). Prefect background for a villain.
They said on twitter that a rookie revolution was on the way. No matter how you shuffle it if Frank or Zach wouldnt be on the next challenge, BMP/MTV would make a huge mistake.
Duel 3 ---> Zach is said to be the new CT! Frank said he is the smartest Real Worlder in history
Ruins 2 ---> Zach& Frank won the last season. JEK and Zachary Franklin on one team? Drama would be huge
Island 2 ---> Vets. vs. Rookies

Well, you're definitely going to see most of them again. Only Laura, Sam and Trishelle aren't locks IMO to do at least one more
A Rookies vs Vets Challenge would just be another domination from the Vet.
I'd like to see a mix of rookies & vets in a Cutthroat 2, with Mark, CT, & Johnny as the captains, and make sure Laurel, Emily, Ashley, Chet, CJ, and Leroy are there.

Nonsense. Zach and Frank were a great ratings disappointment for MTV. They didn't even provide good TV. As they began to dominate the early part of the season, the audience began to disappear as their favorite cast members were eliminated. San Diego came into the challenge with the lowest ratings since London and nothing they collectively or individually did made any difference in adding viewers throughout the season. Anyone who thinks the challenges are about winners is being delusional about how TV works. Villains must the people many in the audience love to hate. This is why Beth was so good for ratings for so long. No episode she was in pulled fewer than 2M across the demographics. Frank and Zach may have won the challenge, but they cost MTV an audience and the good will of advertisers who had expected so much more from this challenge.

I would love to see Lacey again...mainly if Wes comes back. She had some great comments whenever talking about Wes that I thought were hilarious, I think she would be a good thing for Wes to have mentally too.
Out of the people from this past season...the ones I enjoyed were Devyn, Sarah, Trishelle, & Mckenzie (Mckenzie didn't do much, but I'd like to see her again!)

Just what Tyler wrote on twitter about another Challenge looming and people starting to train for it. He make it seem like availabilities calls already went out, since in another tweet he referred to other castmembers as &a"Any potential MTV #challenge contestant."
But there hasn't be an official MTV confirmation, so no I guess.

Jonna & Chet are absolute locks to be seen again. Dustin, based on rumors, isn't.

i think DC was undeservedbly lower than San Diego 2, which rode off the Vegas 2 and Exes success its first few weeks. I also could be wrong.
Why MTV casted Frank on Seasons is beyond me, totally not realizing he was THE reason why his season of Real World bombed especially since he had the most storylines and talking heads. if only they read vevmo for feedback. He now has put two franchises in danger. Nate wod have been better, or just 2 people per season.

Thats not true. He was part of the reason but not THE reason. The cast was not put together well. Sam, Nate, Priscilla, Alex., Zach. They should have had 2 of them, 1 girl and 1 guy with Ashley, Frank and 3 others. Priscilla was also way too young for the show. She shouldnt have been casted at all.
I just finished a marathon viewing of the original Battle of the Seasons and it is shocking how terrible this season was in comparison. I was riveted to my computer screen for the original with nary a break for over five hours even though I had already seen it and knew what was coming next, while this season it was a struggle to stay focused on even one mind-numbingly boring episode at a time. I hope they figure out a way to fix this problem next season. If there is a next season.
I honestly want Frank to come back. It would be great TV to see frank vs johnny or Ct vs Zach. And there is a next season Tyler got a call. And Frank might be going as well. (according to twitter)
