Britney is the only mentor who uses autotune. Demi can actually sing.
Still proves my point. You can be successful by using auto tune.
Uh Cece ad Beatrice are definitely going to need to get recording contracts....they pretty much are the only good things about this season.
Beatrice? Yeah right
They aren't the best singers.
This show isn't about the best singer though. It is all about the "it" factor and they have it. All they need is some good direction and they will be big.
If that helps you sleep at night. Lol.

Or have a number one hit on the Hot 100, ex. Ke$ha, Psy, T-Pain.

Well maybe to you. This is ridiculous having new judges every single season. SMDH

I wouldn't put too much stock in that. I doubt serious talks have even began for next season. However, I don't expect Britney to be back, but I highly doubt she will be "fired".
Britney will be missed. But it truly makes me wonder how different the X Factor would have been like if Whitney was part of the judging panel, as originally she was supposed to.

She was never supposed to be. After her death, Simon commented that he was thinking about setting up a meeting with her to discuss the possibility. That's as far as it got.

Oh woah, that's sad now that I think about it.
After seeing that even getting one of the biggest names in pop music ever didn't draw in the viewers, I expect Simon to go with someone that he knows does well as a judge. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets Sharon Osbourne or brings Mel B over from the Australian version.

I guess youre right even though on the QT im expecting the worse.
He should have kept Cheryl Cole and hired a big name female country music star.
The first part i damn sure agree with. Youre totally
If you had the chance to completely recast the panel for the X Factor, whom would you chose?
For country I'd say Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Faith Hill, or Carrie Underwood.
For some drama and an icon on the show (even they would never) throw in Madonna, Grace Jones, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, or Beyonce.
It's going to be interesting to see who is going to be in the panel, there are 3 spots (idk about Demi but I supposed she is not coming back) I wonder if Simon is going to bring old school singers, another producer and one teen or just 3 top chart singers kind of Rihanna,Katy perry etc
Dolly Parton stated that the only show she will be interested in judging is the voice. The producers from American Idol contacted her to join the show but she declined.

I love Dolly Parton but AI? Just no
I hope he keeps Demi though, she actually had chemistry with the other judges and was a nice addition.
I am totally with you. I love Demi

Yeah, I hope she stays. She was amazingly entertaining and actually really cutthroat. More than Simon, I think. Her comments to Emblem3 like "you've become a worse version of the Jonas Brother 5 years ago" and Arin Ray "I wouldn't sign you" were awesome (especially because I didn't like those two at the time).
