The Challenge: Free Agents - Speculation (Spoilers)

so since this is a speculation thread and I'm not quite sure where else to post this...seeing as the last season of real world was Explosion, we can assume that Battle of the Exes is probably the next season of the challenge, or at least after the next (hopefully ratings this season are better, I haven't looked since the second episode) so what couples do you guys expect and who do you think would win? I'm assuming: Nany/Cohutta Leroy/Theresa Jordan/Laurel Dustin/Jessica Jaz/Swift Brian or Cory/Jenny Jay/Jenna Jamie/Tom Johnny R/Averey Zach/Jonna Bananas/Camila (I'm hesitant posting this but I know they love casting these two, however Idk if they would do them again since they were already paired and won) Anyone else think of any? my money would on Jordan/Laurel and Leroy/Theresa. I like Nany and Cohutta and I think they are both proving themselves this challenge but I just can't picture Cohutta doing well in a final. He doesn't have a lot of muscles which I know isn't everything but those finals are excruciating. I don't expect much from the Explosion kids, they seem too cocky about doing the Challenge and I think the Vets will want to throw them in right away to have them earn their stripes. Brian/Cory both are big and the best bets from their season but it would depend on the elimination, I think they def could be taken out. And I really don't see Jenny doing too good.
Well, lets look at his last 2 challenges and his "free rides". Did he go into an elimination round in either Rivals 2 or Exes? No. However if he and Diem do not win the last two power couples they are going in both times. He had a strong alliance with Bananas and Mark but he was the bottom of that alliance and he was going to go in if he didn't win. His free ride was earned by his alliance winning 6/8 power couples, including the last 5 power couples. Him and Diem won the last two guaranteeing themselves the spot in the final. Now Rivals 2, yes he played a brilliant political game by hooking up with every girl in the house and having Wes take a back seat and just be in the background but once again he and Wes won the final elimination to be safe and guarantee themselves a spot in the final, once again not skating to the end. Now in the case of Gauntlet 3, he was arguably the best competitor on the Gauntlet 3 and they won every male elimination challenge minus two, and there was no way his team would risk him when Danny was being a ******* and it was a win win whether Danny or Adam went home. The Inferno's, he won 4/8 possible life shields on Inferno 1 and sent himself in, literally preventing him from skating to the end to save a friend, David. Inferno 2 he won 6/8 possible life shields including the last two to guarantee himself safety and a spot in the final. The Duel he saw 2 eliminations eliminating Evan then loosing via a DQ to Brad. Rivals he beat Evan and Nehemiah which as said may have been thrown by Evan, and then he lost to Bananas and Tyler in an Elimination that Adam may have thrown. But no you are right, he is above all criticism and skates to the end of challenges on a free ride. :)
I'm well-aware of CT's Challenge resume. That's why I said "last 2 challenges." And when I say "CT is above any and all criticism," I mean that because people ***** on Frank and Zach for winning BOTS because they weren't tested in eliminations, ***** on Bananas for getting free rides, and there were quite a few people complaining last season about Wes getting a free ride, when CT was his partner! Yet those same people NEVER bring up the fact that CT got a free ride on the last 2 seasons that he's done. Pretty much anything that is said that doesn't make CT out to be great makes people "haters." I just can't stand the CT fan boy and fan girls. Pretty hypocritical, no? I get it that the majority of the people who watch REALLY like him, but at least be consistent. If they're going to call out Zach, Frank, Bananas and Wes, at least call out CT for doing the same. But let's go by what you posted about CT. Rivals 2 he won the last mission and played a brilliant political game. On Exes he and Diem were the power couple the last 2 times. Didn't have to go into an eliminations. Zach: BOTS-He won 2 eliminations and his team was the power team 2 of the last 3 weeks. Frank: BOTS-He won 1 elimination and his team was the power team 2 of the last 3 weeks. Rivals 2-His team won 2 of the missions, although he didn't have to go into an elimination. Bananas: Exes-He and Camila were the power couple 3 times, and he beat Mark Long in an elimination. Rivals 2-He and Frank won 2 missions, didn't have to go into an elimination. Wes: Rivals-Won 1 mission, won 2 eliminations (when Kenny wasn't great that season). Rivals 2-He and CT won 3 missions, but he didn't have to go into an elimination. If CT didn't get a free ride, wouldn't the same be true for the other 4?

I wouldn't say they got a free ride though, I believe a lot of the free ride criticism comes from when people have their friends there and are never at risk until the final elimination due to their friends being there with them.
I wouldn't say they got a free ride though, I believe a lot of the free ride criticism comes from when people have their friends there and are never at risk until the final elimination due to their friends being there with them.
Bingo.
I think the issue most people have is the fact that their favorite competitors don't win, so they make excuses as to why the winner's do win. If that makes any sense.
I personally find it hard to put anyone ahead of Bananas considering he has won the most challenges and most money. But if you are trying to say who is the best ever you have to consider all the factors and think about all the reasons we watch this show. We watch yes for the challenges but just as important is the other aspects of the game and living in the challenge house(politics, fights, drinking, hookups, throwing an entire person's belongings into the pool, etc). So that said i give you my Mount Rushmore of the challenge (im new to this site so maybe you have already done one and if so Im sorry). Bananas, CT, Wes, and Evelyn.
Anyone know how tall the cast of the Challenge is? Not guesses, like actual height. I've read things that say Zach is 6' to 6'5" (which would make Cohutta 5' to 5'5"). I think I saw a modeling website that listed CT at 6' which seems believable, but I think he looks a little taller. Always been curious how tall these people actually are...

CT always stands next to Zach. If Zach was 6'5" then CT would be 6'4". Zach is really 6'3" and CT is 6'1" or 6'2" as he has stated.

Bananas, CT, Wes, and Evelyn.
I would do one for the guys and girls and my four would probably be based on each of the facets of the game. CT would be there for just pure athleticism, Kenny for the political/social game, Johnny for overall winning, and I guess Wes for eliminations (I feel dirty saying that). Landon, Darrell, and Mark would all be narrow misses. For girls I'd say Evelyn for overall beastliness, Rachel and Veronica, and maybe Laurel at this point as she's never been sent home and is now sitting at 6-0 in eliminations. I'd definitely give her the nod if she wins Free Agents. Coral, Jodi, and Susie would be my honorable mentions. I know there are a lot of great competitors from the early days like RR Dan and Theo...they just didn't do enough shows to warrant it. Kenny, Evan, Leroy, and CT are all in the 6'0-6'2 bracket with CT being the tallest of that group at just a hair bigger than Kenny (CT said on a podcast that he thinks he's about 6'2 but he tells people he's 6'1) and then the 6'3+ group is Mark Long, MJ, and Zach.

Didn't know CT said that in a podcast. So if CT is like 6'1" to 6'2", Laurel must be like 6' b/c she's just a hair shorter than him...
Yeah. On top of the fact that Johnny is given **** for people "throwing" eliminations for him to win when there's no confirmation, but CT's last elimination win was handed to him as well, and it was actually confirmed by about half the cast that Evan was trying to quit. CT hasn't won a legitimate elimination round since the Duel.
A couple of years Evan admitted in twitter that he lost in purpose. After Exes that guy the jek dinasty, said in twitter that Jb was the leader of jek cause he had beat Ct twice and Evan said that in Rivals he lost in purpose and in the duel he lost fair against Ct but at least he wasn´t used like a purse like Jb in Cutthroat
1- how did CT beat Evan in the duel? 2- why would Evan be throwing missions? 3- has CT ever been beaten not including DQ's
The throwing thing was in reference to Rivals...I don't think anyone can dispute the fact that CT smacked Evan on the Duel fair and square. Evan wanted to go home on Rivals because he didn't want to be there to begin with. He was in school and wanted to get back and missed his girlfriend. The whole "D-Day" thing was supposed to result in Evan going home after the fourth challenge...but since it was impossible to lose worse than Kenny did he just stuck it out for an extra week. CT has not been beaten when you throw out DQs, though he's only been in 2 other 1 on 1 eliminations...and one was eating cookies. I wasn't trying to take anything away from CT in my original post, my point was just to say that Johnny gets the "free ride" card thrown at him a lot when CT has done a lot of the same stuff (great political game, wins a lot of safeties) but has actually seen substantially fewer eliminations. People only throw it at Johnny because they don't like his personality. I don't think either of them have "free rides" because, to me, winning challenges and playing a good political game is just as important as performing in eliminations, if not more. I'm excited to see when Johnny beats CT in a puzzle that it was "unfair", when in reality unfair would've been giving them a weight/strength competition when CT is just outright better than Johnny at that. A puzzle is an equalizer and, as last season showed us, CT is actually a LOT better at them than Johnny. What would be "fair" to some people is giving them an elimination that drastically favors CT and letting him smoke Johnny. Which is asinine.
1- how did CT beat Evan in the duel? 2- why would Evan be throwing missions? 3- has CT ever been beaten not including DQ's
CT beat Evan in a puzzle on the Duel Evan threw the elimination on Rivals because he didn't want to be there in the first place. He only went to help Kenny/Johnny/Paula out. He wanted to go home to be with his girlfriend. Even though Evan is banned, I am pretty sure he would probably be done anyway.

Which is asinine.
The only thing weird about the puzzle this season is every other elimination was physical except the final one before the final which is notorious for being physical in the past. Especially since fans have been begging for a rematch between the two, and johnny may have wanted another shot at him at something physical so if he put up a fight, it would shut up the backpack talk at least a bit. Johnny even admits that anything physical is right in ct's wheelhouse, so you are right, but having a physical elimination between them would have been consistent with how the show usually goes as far as the final elimination. Maybe it will have some other elements to it as well, but either way it definitely is even going into a puzzle, anything can happen in a puzzle elimination.
Evan throwing the elimination against Adam/CT simply doesn't make any sense. It benefited no one.
Evan throwing the elimination against Adam/CT simply doesn't make any sense. It benefited no one.
It was just a way to go home without quitting.
Not debating who threw what, but it's real easy to disguise losing as "throwing it".
Evan throwing the elimination against Adam/CT simply doesn't make any sense.
It benefits the person who lost intentionally because he wanted to go home after picking up his appearance fee and givings his friends who wanted to be there an extra guaranteed vote for 6 challenges.
Again, doesn't make any sense IMO Beat CT & Adam then throw the next one
Again, doesn't make any sense IMO Beat CT & Adam then throw the next one
It wasn't about CT and Adam. That was just what was made up to make a "storyline" just like Tori having to leave for her job but pretending it was because she couldn't run a final. It wasn't particularly creative as Evan and Wes had a similar plan on the Duel. The guy just wanted to leave ASAP and didn't want to just quit. He would've intentionally lost to whoever he went in against.
Anyone else realise that after this challenge Deyvn will have the same record after two challenges as Emily Schromm? Different circumstances of course but still made me chuckle.
Anyone else realise that after this challenge Deyvn will have the same record after two challenges as Emily Schromm? Different circumstances of course but still made me chuckle.
No, necessarily...Emily saw eliminations on her first 2 challenges and came victorious in those elimination. Devyn have been in 2 challenges and technically got a free ride in both of them because she won by default that elimination against Big Easy/Camila (They were winning, but Eric gave up for his "Gf" to stay). Yeah they saw 2 finals, one got a free ride in both while the other one was lucky and played a good political game.
I'll repeat. Different circumstances of course. But thanks for sucking out what little fun I found in that observation.
I'll repeat. Different circumstances of course. But thanks for sucking out what little fun I found in that observation.
Sorry :x lol I just couldn't resist
Believe me Devyn and Emily are in no way the same tier of competitor for me haha
