Hiw does someone deserve a spot in the final because someone else has seen many? Makes little sense.
Someone who hasn't proven themselves deserves a spot in the final that's occupied by people who have. Logic for you *rolls eyes*
Hiw does someone deserve a spot in the final because someone else has seen many? Makes little sense.
A) it gets way too predictable and boring with the same people in the finals season after season.
B) how do we get new winners when the same people make it to the end every time?
It's funny that Preston lasted longer than Dustin,Frank,Jordan, and Chet this season.
That's because he's nowhere near a threat so they keep him around
Someone who hasn't proven themselves deserves a spot in the final that's occupied by people who have. Logic for you *rolls eyes*
Agreed. That's the down side to the "draw." If it was just based on talent, the final 3 likely would have been:
Guys: Zach, Bananas, CT
Girls: Laurel, Cara Maria, Theresa

To be in the final, you should deserve to be there...by being better than the people who are already in it.
Nany came in second didn't she
Yes, that's correct. I mis-read the list of winners *doh*

Oh silly me, I thought this was a competition. Heck, let's just do away with any type of physical or mental competition at all. How do you propose we choose the contestants for the final challenge? Coin toss? Rock, paper, scissors?
It's not boring or predictable for viewers with a rooting interest. CT is a fan favorite, having him in the finals probably benefits the show more than having someone like Johnny R there. Aside from his tryst with Nany, he's been nothing but wallpaper this season.
Eh, I don't think the producers care about giving us new winners every season. If they did, they wouldn't continue to cast past winners with multiple challenge wins under their belts.
CT Zach Bananas, Laurel Cara Theresa would have been an awesome final. The best competitors and the best people in a final. Would have loved it to go that way but that is why its a game show anything can happen at anytime.

Haha! That's funny, considering on Rivals there was almost a 400,000 viewer increase the episode after CT was eliminated.

Yeah it's called the final episode...

Your not going to actually try and argue if he's a fan favorite or not, are you....

It was the season finale....Those ratings always go up for it.
Its a fact that CT Q score is way higher than anyone still doing this challenges, in other words he is the most popular cast member that its still doing this shows. He is also the most followed cast member after The Miz/Jamie Chung on social networks.

And Jamie Chung/The Miz have a ton of followers for obvious reasons (she's an actress, he's a well known wrestler)

What is Q score?
What is Q score?
The Q Score is a measurement of the familiarity, popularity and appeal of a brand, company, celebrity, reality stars or television show used in the United States.
Back on Rivals 2 if I am not wrong V1man posted that CT Q score was the highest follow by Diem's based of people that are still doing this shows.
Your not going to actually try and argue if he's a fan favorite or not, are you....
No. I'm well aware he's a fan favorite. I'm just not one of those fans.
My point was that if Heelin's statement about CT being in the final benefitting the show was true, then wouldn't that mean him not be in finals would negatively affect the show as well? If CT was the only thing keeping viewers watching, shouldn't ratings have dropped for the final episode?
I think a lot of people misinterpreted what I meant when I said this:
He's competed in enough finals, somebody else deserves his spot for once.
I meant we've seen CT on enough shows, we're well aware of what he's capable of. It's time he takes a break and let the new kids prove themselves. Viewers will never accept the new generation if they're constantly being spoon-fed CT & Bananas. Let two or three seasons go by and then bring back CT & Bananas. I didn't mean that competition needs to be thrown out of the window or that the weak should be in the finals, I meant that it is time for a generation flip, we've seen what the older players can do, now it's time for the new ones to shine.

Maybe they should step it up and earn it then? Everyone starts somewhere and was a rookie at some point. Jordan/Marlon made the final, but couldn't solve the puzzle/swim as fast as Johnny/Frank. Leroy/Mike played a good political game, but couldn't hang in the final.

In regards to Leroy/Mike, they were also considered "non threats" and were going to go into the final elimination (and probably got eliminated) had they not won. It also helped that the vets (Bananas/CT ect) liked both of them and took them under their wing

They did well on a few missions, but yeah I agree. Them being so well-liked kind of goes with their political game.
They did well on a few missions, but yeah I agree. Them being so well-liked kind of goes with their political game.
True. The ones they did do well on relied on a) Leroy climbing a rope and b) (somewhat) mike knowing that it's better to slowly crush the car through physics or whatever.
And Jamie Chung/The Miz have a ton of followers for obvious reasons (she's an actress, he's a well known wrestler)
Ct have more followers than Jamie, but for obvious reason her Q score is higher.

I think this is the main reason why CT/Backpack need to go. How can we expect these new kids to shine(and for this show to go on) if they keep getting CT/Backpack every season? They either need to retire of just take a break.

So what are we supposed to just sit here and watch tired as vets make it to the end every time then? **** that. CT and Backpack need to go. Period.

I think if they were to do another season with a cast similar to Seasons and cast only 1 CT, Wes, or Bananas and I have a theme the show would do good. Fans are use to them now and so I think it would do okay.
Yes but the guys are competing again guys and girls against girls. The teams are Johnny Cohutta Theresa and Nany - yellowLeroy Johnny Reilly Jessica and Cara Maria - blueZach CT Laurel and Devyn - red
Isn't this the mission where they through that x thing.
