"I don't know if you saw the Rivals reunion, but it was pretty much stated that Leroy wanted to quit early on and Mike's the only reason they kept going." A quote from the Rivals 1 thread.
Thanks for that. I'm gonna see if I can find the Reunion show online.

Thanks again. I found it on MTV and on youtube just in case anyone is wondering.
Scratch that. It's not available on mtv anymore. I wonder why they don't have a lot of the old shows available anymore.
Its on mtv.ca if you're Canadian :)
Its on mtv.ca if you're Canadian :)
Lol, I just tried mtv.ca and it gave me a message that since I'm not from the country, I can't watch it. Oh well. I think they have it on Amazon Prime. I was actually thinking about doing their free trial to see what it's all about anyway.
Yeah I recently rewatched Rivals on Amazon prime.
In an interview someone asked Leroy if he was mad Mike quit but Leroy said he was actually the one who wanted to quit the whole time.

Seems fitting to Bananas challenge career if you ask me.
Okay here are my final thoughts on Backpack this season.
This time I feel like he's shown that he's actually very good. I've actually seen how good everyone says he is. He's Smart, strong and athletic and it showed in that Final challenge. Despite my feelings for him he deserved to win.
With that said I'm still not fond of him and I hope by some divine intervention that he's not on the next challenge. I'm beyond ready to see someone else win.

Look at you. I've always known that there was a little Banana fan in there just waiting to burst free.

Let's not get TOO carried away here.
In the reunion, they were talking about how the feud between Cara Maria and Laurel's first big argument was in the van. They showed a clip of that during one of the after episode specials, but both Laurel and Bananas mentioned a "guy from production" who they disliked, and was how their argument began, and was wondering of anyone knew what that was about?
I know this is a small thing but LOL @ that Interviewer mentioning him in the same league as actual athletes that competed in actual sports.
People really gotta stop acting like this is some legitimate sports competition because it isn't and it never will be sports.

Haha he's joking. Bill Simmons is one of ESPN's premiere people and is probably the most famous sports journalist in the country...he knows sports. He and his partner David Jacoby came up with and gave TJ the idea for Rivals to bring to the producers. A lot of fans should be thanking them for the exposure they've given the show.

I know he's joking but it still bothered me.
Anything important/interesting?
The challenges:
- Pretty much the challenges are now the olympics, so you need to train harder than before.
-If you dont train now, then you are not going to have a shot on winning this challenges.
- The challenges used to be about reality drama and not much about competition, really different now.
- It was more easy to win a final and challenges before than now.
CT vs bananas:
- The puzzle was a shock, he said that CT is really strong when it comes to puzzles, and that he still doesnt know how he finished that.
- He said that he respects CT,is not about friendship but more about respct.
- They have different ways to play the game, and that's why they tried to take each other out everytime.
- Since he and CT are the last two vets standing, bananas said that is better go for the new kids, and then he and CT will go for each other until the end.
- He said that they have done a lot for the show in terms of viewership, fans etc, so the show needs both of them, and is better to at least have one of them on the final to increase the viewership.
- He said that CT has calmed down, and both of them have grown up.
Leroy: Everyone likes leroy, but he needs to step up on his political game.
Johnny r: The guy is really humble and he respect the way he play the game, def one to look forward on the future.
Nany: she has great chances on winning a challenge.
Jordan: the guy is really cocky, bananas didnt want to go agaisnt him on the wall elimination, he wanted something physical.
He basically confirmed he is going to be on the next challenge and probably going to have a target on his back.

If the show has really come to that then I think it's time to pull the plug on this show entirely. This show is supposed to have different cast members every season. This show shouldn't have to depend on 2 people in order for it to get good ratings. When it gets to that I think the plot is lost and it's time to call it a day.

I would say Bananas is more athletic than anyone that plays professional golf, softball or tennis.
You know that video games is now considered a sport right? Competing professionally that is.
