I feel like St. Thomas gets a bad rap because their season didn't get good ratings. But I have enjoyed all of the cast members on their challenges, Swift was a little annoying on FA but I think they being a good mix to any casts. I just want Laura & Marie for Rivals 3

St Thomas, in my opinion, is one of the better RW seasons out of the last few.
St. Thomas was really good, but basically Robb and Marie made the entire season. Trey and Laura were a bore to watch, and both Brandons were annoying. LaToya was hilarious as always, but she rarely got any screen time.
Robb, Marie, and LaToya were absolutely hilarious! Laura and Trey were good to look at. Was the season great? No, but it had an old school feel to it and I enjoyed that more than what SD or PDX had to offer.

What I love about St. Thomas is that the cast looked like normal people you would interact on your daily basis, not aspiring actors and models that are only there to get famous.
I really liked Portland (I'm biased because that was the first season I saw entirely), but I agree that there was barely any character development.

New Orleans 2 also had a similar cast, in terms of people you would interact with.
St Thomas was an awful season. It was beyond boring. The cast as individuals are better on the challenges but they didn't mesh well as a group to make a good season.
From St. Thomas, I always thought that Trey, LaToya (I might be biased), and Marie had the potential to become exceptional competitors. Laura, while gorgeous as hell, doesn't seem like the type to actually do well without help from ST. Swift hasn't done it for me yet, though I dunno, he could surprise me. Robb has always given me "lazy" vibes, so... And I doubt Brandon K. would ever do a challenge.
For a showmance and real life relationship, you'd think those 2 would be have each other's back. But CT has always treated Diem & almost every girl like they were worthless. I was so frustrated with CT when he didn't save Diem in the duel because she didn't "earn" it. And in Rivals II when Diem clearly wanted to go into the final elimination against Camila & Jemmye and CT just refused to do vote them in without reasoning, and voted in Emily & Paula instead. (Imagine Brad voting in the biggest threat to face Tori when she doesn't want to face that person? He'd never do that to her.) I don't know why he would treat her like that, especially with all that she's been through. Back when I was banned I was so frustrated reading all the comments on here trashing Diem and saying that CT didn't have to vote how Diem wanted him to. She's loyal to him, but he's not loyal back. He does what he wants and sometimes he'll just completely throw her away because he thinks it's funny or it'll be good TV. Of course things may be different now, but I was never a fan of the Diem/Ct showmance because he wasn't loyal to her. He isn't loyal to any female. Ct is a player and i'm tired of him looking like some hero when he's not.

Wowwwwww.... This is actually pretty true .... Its kind of sad when you think about it. :/ I mean, that IS how it looks on TV... Not cool.
But side note I can't believe YOU were ever banned omg!

Aww Jamie lol i'm glad someone got what I was saying, i'm prepared to get jumped for saying that. About the ban well I deserved it . A while back some user on here went out with a bang Nia Moore style and made a post raging about some of the things he hates about moderation. I agreed with him and kind've rooted him on, at that point I expected to get in some type of trouble, but at the time I didn't care because I was REALLY mad that some people on here were blantantly spoiling what happens during the season on non-spoiler threads. I've learned to stop reading the generic thread and most Challenge threads in general while a season is filming/while it's airing. I haven't read anything in this thread, I just posted in it and looked to see if someone responded.
IMO ratings DO NOT MATTER AT ALL when determining if a season is deemed "great" or "terrible".
PREACH. I wanted to bring this up as well, because some people talked a bunch of crap about Free Agent sucking because the ratings were bad. If a show starts off with low ratings, and has a consistent amount of viewers throughout the season, then the quality of the show has nothing to do with the ratings. That's not the shows fault, it's MTV's fault for not giving the show enough promotion.
Maybe there could be a case made if the ratings of the premiere were amazing, and overtime declined by each episode. But that's not the case. If no one tuned in to watch the show in the first place, how does that mean the season is bad? I also feel the results of the previous season has an affect on how many people end up watching the next season.

Lol Brad wouldn't do that to Tori because he needs to live in her purse.
IMO ratings DO NOT MATTER AT ALL when determining if a season is deemed "great" or "terrible".
Exactly, maybe if it starts with high ratings and drops fast, than yes. But if it starts with already low ratings doesn't mean necessarily that is bad, it's just people didn't gave the season a chance.

I agree with what you said about CT not being loyal to Diem, but CT and Wes were pretty close to Camila and Jemmye as well. It's not like they wanted to throw them against Paula and Emily so that they could lose, it's just that Camila and Jemmye had their back throughout the whole season and they didn't want to backstab them, plus they had already went to an elimination. I think if it were any other team, they would have voted with Diem.

I would hope what you said is true. The way it played out on TV made it seem like CT just wanted to play around and make Diem all mad and paranoid about the last elimination and I didn't like it.

Congratulations on being spoiler free!!! Haha watch out for this thread too! Sometimes people don't know and accidents happen! And this is the unpopular opinion thread so nobody better come for you on that team jumpahoe shit! I gotchu! ;-D hahaha.

That's how I saw it, but again I could be completely wrong.
I really hope they can step up on the Challenges and increase the quality of the cast :/
And please stop making 2 players teams , im sick of them , i really hoped that we could get a new Inferno/Gauntlet instead of Exes,Rivals or Agents.
Now a unpopular opinion : I hate individual challenges ( Duels and F.A) because most of the cast still act like they are in a team, and its not truly a "Individual" Challenge, there have been people who could make huge powermoves on this games, but chose not to because they were afraid of getting backlash which sucks, the only player that played individual through-out the Duel was Wes on D1, i also didn´t like part of the Duel 2 because there was an obvious huge alliance between some of the top dogs and Landon didnt won.
I loved The Island and the Ruins, but the Island would be way different if Johnny went home instead of Abram on the 1st Elimination. Derrick has lost his personality and what i liked about him by teaming up with JEK...
Not sure if this is unpopular or not but I would like to see them go back to the "Secret" voting format that they used in Cutthroat. I think some people made more daring moves when they were protected by anonimity.
Awwww damn! :/
Hopefully you can be satisfied with not knowing the drama and elimination match ups!!! There will be plenty of surprises for you!!! <3

Amen. Just as two great competitors don't always make for a great elimination.
