I really hope they can step up on the Challenges and increase the quality of the cast :/
And please stop making 2 players teams , im sick of them , i really hoped that we could get a new Inferno/Gauntlet instead of Exes,Rivals or Agents.
Now a unpopular opinion : I hate individual challenges ( Duels and F.A) because most of the cast still act like they are in a team, and its not truly a "Individual" Challenge, there have been people who could make huge powermoves on this games, but chose not to because they were afraid of getting backlash which sucks, the only player that played individual through-out the Duel was Wes on D1, i also didn´t like part of the Duel 2 because there was an obvious huge alliance between some of the top dogs and Landon didnt won.
I loved The Island and the Ruins, but the Island would be way different if Johnny went home instead of Abram on the 1st Elimination. Derrick has lost his personality and what i liked about him by teaming up with JEK...
Amen. I've lost respect for Derrick, entirely. He's a ******* example of a sheep.

There will always be alliances that's how the game works.
It's smart not to make powermoves sometimes because that puts a target on your back.
Derrick is also friends with JEK and knows they win so why not align with them. He has won with Kenny three times.. There was no sense to turn his back on his friends.
Yeah, were I Derrick I would've totally walked away from 75K when I had a newborn and a new wife at home and decided to try to build and row a boat with Robin, Ryan and Jenn for the sake of the viewers.
To be honest I think that if Derrick and Evelyn had been on a boat with any combination of Robin/Ryan/Jenn that pretty much any combination of Johnny, Kenny, Paula and the third person in that group probably would've beaten them. I suppose that's my unpopular opinion. The Johnny/Kenny boat would've won regardless.
Depite Jordan doing bad on Free Agents I still think that he's a good competitior.
And I wish that people on this show would acutally make moves and play the game for themselves. It gets really tiring seeing these people play scared and puss out all because the person the voted in could come back to get them or they don't want to **** off their friends. I mean I get it. People want to win with their friends and it's best not to make waves and put a target on their backsometimes but while that may work for a while and it may get you to the final but what does that really mean when the people that are in the final with you are either equal or way stronger than you and the only they are there is because you didn't get rid of them when you should have? I'd rather them acutally play the game and not just be some inoffensive sheep.
I get why he teamed up with JK and Evelyn on the Boat. I mean he had a family back home that was his best bet of winning. I don't blame him for that at all. He had priorities.
i hated Free Agents, because everybody was too friendly with eachother aside from the forced one sided bad blood between Jordan and Johnny...i know people dont want a target on their back and all, but its funnier to see a person vs the world as example CT vs JEK on Rivals.
Yeah I understand Derrick but this not only happened on The Island, it also happened on Ruins, etc the only game that i liked him was on Gauntlet 2 and Cutthroat.

Of course Derrick did on the ruins, it would be idiotic of him not too. He knows that being a great competitor only gets you so far if you don't have any political allies. In what world would it make sense for him not to work with people who've had his back before, would keep him out of eliminations, and guarantee him a spot in the final and money for his family ?
I don't think Jordan was particularly brave on Free Agents. It's one thing to be like CT on Rivals where you're the lone soldier, or Wes on the beginning of the Ruins (he started working with Evan and Kenny after the Evelyn elimination according to some dailies). Jordan was in the biggest alliance there with 2 of the 3 strongest guys on the season (CT and Zach). Going after an alliance-less Bananas when you have the big dogs on your side isn't really that ballsy in my opinion.
Jordan could have made it to the finals if he didn't do what he did. It was stupid. If he wanted Bananas gone then he could have done it another way. You don't go after someone like that especially that early in the game. He should have stuck around and won challenges and then thrown him in down the road and Banans could have gone against like Zach or CT. Jordan wasn't brave, he was an idiot.
IMO ratings DO NOT MATTER AT ALL when determining if a season is deemed "great" or "terrible".
I agree with this so much. People here have this mentality that if a season has good ratings= good and bad ratings=bad season. Ratings have nothing to do with quality. So many shows on Television right now is clear proof of that.
Very unpopular here, the idea of a fresh cast isn't super exciting to me. I'd rather see Paula & Sarah then random rookies I don't care about like Sahar or Jamie. Which is why I didn't like seasons, I didn't know half the people and I only liked a few of the veterans that season.
I'm not completely against rookies , if I like them then I'll want them on it but if I dont know them or like them then I'm fine with them not being there.
Landon is not the most athletic competitor, Alton is. Also is Alton the only African American who was good at swimming on this show?
Landon vs alton would be a great match up but I think overall I would put my money on Lando! I think they are equal in strength and endurance but I think Landon is stronger mentally. But honestly they would both be great in a final... Alton could win against Landon any day and vice versa.

That was me before BOTS2 and I hated that season bc rookies. But now, after getting to know all of them, I ******* love bots2.
Now I try to give rookies a change altho I do not care for them. Johnny R was a good rookie imo.
I do not watch rw so for me they all are new faces.
Unpopular opinion, but I think Alton is way overrated. Even when he was in his prime, I didn't saw how great he was. Ok, he is amazing at climbing ropes, but other than that he's only above average, nothing spectacular. I think CT, Landon and even Bananas are best than him.

AGREED! This should be a popular opinion. But for those who say ratings speak for themselves: TAKE A SEAT, because today's lecture is on how entertainment is subjective to everyone.
Underrated Opinion: My favorite parts of every season premiere are the superteases that are featured at the very beginning and the very end of the episode. They just make me so excited for what's to come later on.

On the contrary, I hate those bits. I usually plug my ears and start singing random crap because once you've developed that sixth sense for spotting spoilers from trailers you can't switch it off.
I remember on the BOTE trailer they showed a second of the air plane mission and someone with a green jersey was showed so every episode I was like... well.. I definitely know Ty & Emily won't be eliminated this week.

Oh that's understandable. I know some seasons don't do so well of a job with keeping spoilers lowkey from their teasers. I think I was mainly referring to how Free Agents handled theirs, blurring out some important scenes, and just how epic it was. Looking forward to how next season does it.
And even though I'm spoiler-free (other than knowing the cast) for next season, I'll probably still end up watching the trailers/teasers multiple times and eventually piece together what happens... it's a guilty pleasure.
another one: i really don't get all the praise for Johnny Reilly being the best 'rookie'. I know he won a couple of missions and was the first one to climb the moutain, but honestly i would liek to see him in a physical elimination against Marlon or Jordan.

True!! We have never gotten to see him prove himself in an 1x1!

I liked Jordan on Rivals 2... And then his attitude on FA made me dislike him.
Same. He was one of my favorites that season, idk what happened to him on Free Agents. He was so arrogant/cocky.
I agree with this so much. People here have this mentality that if a season has good ratings= good and bad ratings=bad season. Ratings have nothing to do with quality. So many shows on Television right now is clear proof of that.
I think that Free Agents is a good season despite it's flaws.

If he was never on battle of the seasons then maybe I'd agree about Alton being almost as good as Landon. But Landon is much better IMO.

Eh. I think Johnny proved himself well enough.
But I do want to see him in an actual elimination. Whether it be physical or otherwise.
He proved himself to be better than what everyone thought he would be but he is definately beatable in eliminations.
How would we know that?
;-D
