I'm in agreement that if you're not there to try to win you should never go. Goes for Diem in The Ruins, Beth on The Inferno 2, Karamo on the Inferno 2, Jisela on G2, Evan on Rivals, etc.
That said, production let them get away with it.
Include Dunbar on Rivals and Alton on BOTS2 too... i agree with you,if you are there only to screw others and not have a will at all, might as well not even go.
Dunbar went with the intent to compete but quit once he found out who his partner was--which actually may be worse
I think Alton went to win until he realized he hated his life while being there
I'll add Trashelle for quitting on Rivals 2. I think she just went for the paycheck
Johnny and Kenny did not trick Evan into going against CT.
Yeah Evan wanted to go against CT so he could throw it and go home. He didn't want to be there to begin with. In no way was he manipulated...
He should've stayed home.
He went for a little bit to help his friends so they would have the numbers in the alliance. I don't see anything wrong with that.
I do. I doubt Backpack and Kenny needed him there anyways. I'm pretty sure with just those two they would've had the numbers regardless. I mean it's not like they haven't ran things before. Look at The Island.
I'm putting opinion here because It may be unpopular by how unsensitive it is going to sound, but it's regading next season. With the sudden tragec deaths of two beloved cast members of the upcomming season, I believe next season will garner high rates because of it.
I think Rivals and Battle of the Exes are great concepts. But I just feel like the relationships and Rivalries needed to make these formats work are not there. I mean I'm pretty sure that combining both seasons of Rivals that you could count on one hand the pairs that acutally hated each other. Same for Exes hardly any of them were acutally dated. Most of them were just Hook-ups.
I think that if we had some legit Rivals/Exes then those concepts could be great.

I think it's gonna be tough with this generation as they have more drunken feuds and they're over it quickly. Nany/Frank is one of the few genuine rivalries and Nia/Avery was too for a bit.

Not if they wait too long to show it.
Eh idk isn't too late to air the Challenge earlier with RW starting soon? I wouldn't be surprised if they're thinking about it though.

The longer they wait, the more time people have to process it. Casual viewers will have moved on (so to speak) and will have lost interest. The sensationalism dies down. Not sure which is worse: jumping on the sensationalism to get ratings or waiting til later but not having the same impact.
On an unrelated note even though he will never be back Evan looks to be in the best shape of his life. People forget that he was either the best or 2nd best athlete on every season that he's done up until Rivals with the only people out doing him being Landon and CT (who he technically outperformed on Duel 1). If he ever did come back I think he'd wreck shop.

Yeah I would love to see Evan come back in beast mode & dominant the challenge! I am a Bananas fan, but maybe then someone could take the 5 time champion down lol.
Because of Evan, the vote was tied and the rest of the gang came in to vote. That was honestly one of my favourite moments when Veronica was the last one to vote with a grin on her face saying "Ibis and Kimberly."

LOL-that was one of my favorite moments in challenge history as well. To be fair, I don't think Evan ever considered that Johnny, Derrick & Co would be dumb enough to vote in Ibis. Evan should have just grown a set and said "Veronica-KellyAnne" the first time around but it should have never ended up the way it did. That said, Veronica would have had a better shot against KellyAnne in that elimination than Hog Tie.
How did Susie Manipulate Evan.. and even if she did, it seemed like they still were great friends and still are
Susie didn't manipulate Evan. She manipulated other people but not him. Susie and Evan controlled the entire house on the Ruins. They made all the moves together.
Yeah the Champions deliberation that episode was great. Watching this old school villain who once ran the game, barely escaping elimination and even better she gets the deciding vote. It's too bad Susie vs. Veronica wasn't very enticing since V was almost entirely out of her element with this newer cast.
I would love to see Veronica, Beth, Coral, Julie, Kina, Ruthie, Tina all back. The girls from the generation can't compare in any shape or form to the oldies.

I just want to see an old school team so bad. It would be so easy to assemble if BMP took the time. Hell, back when Beth posted about it on Facebook, even Jon Brennan made it sound like he'd give it one last go.
Battle of the Ages would be the greatest season, the greatest cast of all time. Ever.

Katie and Susie too.
How could I forget Katie, easily one of the funniest challengers ever. I have mixed feelings about Susie, sometimes I love her and her snarky commentary, but sometimes I loathe her.

Sorry but you're supposed to manipulate people on these shows.
I do. I doubt Backpack and Kenny needed him there anyways. I'm pretty sure with just those two they would've had the numbers regardless. I mean it's not like they haven't ran things before. Look at The Island.

Yeah but you are not supposed to get yourself get manipulated...
Evan only got manipulated once--Wes
Maybe twice...Susie
I'm not even sure how this comment makes sense--the first post was dead wrong about Rivals

Maybe three times - Veronica.

Honestly Evan and Susie as a team on an allies season would be GOLD

I ******* love Veronica so much, I would pay just to see her back.
One of the best moments ever.
I agree. It's one of the few things about that season that wasn't awful.
Veronica and Beth are the two old schoolers I'd love to see the most.
What I'd give to see Beth again.
One could argue Susie manipulated Evan into not throwing the last challenge by threatening to throw the final
The way she'd effortlessly stir the pot, see Robin/Tonya.
