The Challenge: Battle of The Exes 2- Jordan Wiseley and Sarah Rice

I definetly think that Jordan can be a main pillar on the show. He can be the perfect Villian.

The problem is, and I know I've said this before and you just fundamentally disagree with my premise, that Jordan wasn't edited with a base of likability. He got a decent edit on Rivals but on Free Agents and Portland he was made to look like an enormous ******. It's the same mistake they made with Frank and Zach on their first show: the edit immediately turned the viewers against them.

Wes, CT, Kenny, Evan, Johnny, etc., people who were eventually given "bad guy" edits down the road never initially got those edits. Wes got the underdog edit on the Duel and Fresh Meat, Kenny and Johnny got the dopey harmless idiot edits their first couple shows, Evan and CT were shown as great athletes. Once they developed a fan base, they started giving them those bad edits edits. It turned people against them, but they had built up enough stock that it was ok. Immediately turning the viewer against a castmember is a mistake and they're making it with a lot of these new people.

They're too eager to have these people be the "next" whoever but they forget that it took those people who they're trying to emmulate time to build up that persona. Had Johnny Bananas been Island Johnny Bananas from the beginning, or CT been Inferno 2/Gauntlet 3 CT from the beginning, they wouldn't have the longevity that they've had because they wouldn't have won anyone over at the beginning.

You're talking about Jordan, the man who competes with four missing fingers. This guy should just get respect, because he does this stuff with this major disadvantage in this game. His background should give him automatically a decent edit, but I don't think you need to get a good edit first to carry the show. You can full on be edited as the bad guy and carrying the show as the bad guy. Remember the bigger the bad guy, the more he can help to get the viewers to be behind the good guy and eventually create a fan favorite in this process and even Jordan was edited good on FA in a sense as the guy who puts "Pride before anything and he will do what he promises to do!". Whether he's arrogant, he's not afraid of you!

Truth. I mean look at Wes. He's always been a **** on these shows and he's one of the popular ones.

I feel like in the end Wes mocked them all with his arrogant commentary.

I love me some Leroy but he can't carry the show.. I mean everyone says he is the funniest guy in the house yet they rarely show him and edit him as such a boring character..

Johnny R. & Jordan will be regulars but I don't see them carrying the show either.

I really just like Jordan bc of his looks. LOL. I know that is very shallow but damn, the boy is a 10.

Well I mean I don't think anyone needs to "carry" the show. The challenges aren't about 1 or 2 people..it's a group. I think it would be better if there wasn't a clear star and someone isn't picked to carry the show..Because they tried that before and it failed(Svetlana/Frank).

With that said I think Jordan would be a good character on this show..But neither he(nor anyone else) should carry the show.

Jordan has a very handsome face, but i never found his body to be that sexy. His legs are a little bit above decent.

Exactly that's one of the reasons why the show started falling apart. (JEK on the Ruins, etc).

yes. Bless u

I think in most shows, events, etc. there will be a few people who are pretty much the stars/face of the show with supporting characters on the side who are essential and help move things along, but there is a very obvious difference in the two imo.

Is it messed up that I keep forgetting about Jordan having one "normal" hand?

I love how Sarah is being a political mastermind this time around , Her playing Bananas and Wes is genius , hope it doesn't backfire.

They keep calling themselves "The Wonder Twins". Why? Lol

They keep calling themselves "The Wonder Twins". Why? Lol

Because they are cocky as ****.

They keep calling themselves "The Wonder Twins". Why? Lol

BeCause everyone in the house call them that, Jordan stated on the afterbuzz interview.

They do? Strong ****** vibes, exes should not call themselves anything twins.

I'd be willing to bet that "everyone in the house" meant "Sarah and I called ourselves that".

Also, from what I remember, wasn't CT edited as a ******, irrationaly, volitile guy on RW Paris? I think, CT wouldn't have the longevity he has now, if Diem was never casted on Duel. I think Zach and Jordan have potential to being pillars, (Jordan more so), simply because he difenetly has quality on being a flawd hero.  Maybe with Sarah's "mastermining" this season, it can be a foil for Jordan? Not entirely sure.

CT would still have the longevity even if he hadn't hook up with diem, diem was part of his challenge storyline but it was not all of it, people wanted to see the guy because he is a wild card and a great competitor.

Jon murray hint that jordan can carry the show, imo he can't,  specially because he couldn't handle the villian edit he got on free agents and the hate viewers gave him on that challenge, that's why he is playing  the nice card so far.

Just curious, what makes you think CT can have longevitiy without Diem eve being in the story line. The whole brawl with Adam involved Diem, and the reason why he became likable was becasue his love for Diem (may she rest in piece). But I agree with DA, or whoever mentioned it, that this show wasn't meant for 1 or 2 people to carry. But you definetly have main characters each season, (whether the same or new ones).

I'm just curious, because I can't seem to seperate his sudden becoming a fan favorite without Diem ever being involved.

CT was never really likable, it was until the first rivals that he became someone to root for with the fans and viewers,  it wasn't because of diem it was because most of the viewers hated jek and CT became the opposite of them. People came around towards ct on that season. Before rivals all the comments were on how CT was ****, a bully and was drunk all the time, and I don't recall people rooting so hard for ct/diem relationship on gauntlet 3/duel 2, most of them didn't even like them together.

Bmp kept bringing CT back because he was a mess back in the day, he was all u can ask for drama, his longevitiy was more of how he was as a person rather than diem relationship prior exes 1. After exes 1 I agree their relationship became the main storyline but my point is he was already likeable and a fan favorite coming to exes 1. Of course after exes 1 both became more likeable and fan favorites.

I actually wonder what if diem never hook up with ct, I dont think she would have appear on so many challenges like she did.

To be honest, the most popular I ever remember him being was after Cutthroat when he trashed Bananas and heading into Rivals. A lot of people didn't like him/take his side after the Adam fight, but Cutthroat seemed to put him back in peoples good graces because we were reminded how great of a competitor he was (he hadn't competed since Gauntlet 3 before Cutthroat).

CT has and will always be the most popular from the franchise. He brings something to the show every season and fans love him.

I don't remember him bringing anything on Free Agents.

Very true. But small tibits of him having Cara's back was pretty endearing. He seemed like her coach.

But those are all fair. I mean, if CT didn't hookup with Diem, then the fight with Adam wouldn't have happened because of him shacking it up with Shavouna and etc. THen he wasn't deemed as this reckless volitile monster to bring back on Cutthroat to further redeem himself on Rivals with his partner Adam and then even further redeem himself with his relations with Diem. But it doesn't matter since it happened, and he's a Challenge staple. But good to see all your points of view.

I don't know why but that made me laugh so hard. LOL! #Shavouna

lol. whoops. What's her name again?

You really think CT is the most popular of the Challenge franchise? Or are u talking about something else? Lol im not gonna argue with you.

There's a very good argument that CT is/has been the most popular
