Washed up names always get bought up but that doesn't mean they will get cast. At least I hope not. I kinda want to see a challenge with the cast being made up of FM2-Skeletons people.

Why ignore the majority of the cast? Stop being stupid--that's your challenge for the day.

That's basically what the cast of the past several challenges has consisted of anyways.
I've just passed on the "Challengers vs. Superfans" concept to one of the casting people. Frankly, it's far better than some formats from the past.
If there is a reply, I'll post it.
Ever get that reply V1man?
No, I guess I really wasn't expecting one, but I think it is an interesting idea. I also tried to get a nibble on current challenge casting, but that was ignored, too.
The idea is unoriginal, but I think it could work very well if handled correctly.
However... my excitement has dropped considering there's a been a recent push for a few washed up names that have no business returning next season...
They need some "washed up" names, since there is a high chance of atleast half of the people being rookies to the challenges. Assuming they stick with that idea, 90%-100% of the cast being new or irrelevant to some viewers would hurt ratings.
Exactly , people want every **** season to have all rookies which is just stupid.

It shouldn't be all regualrs and tired-ass veterans either. That is equally as stupid.

Agree with both and Debut Album to an extent!
Some themes just don't work with all or close to all rookies in it and there never was a cast where only one was a rookie. BMP/MTV always incorporated a/two handful of people that were rookies. The mix should be the key. I think if MTV cast with a 10/10/10 formula in mind with 10 seemingly old, 10 new regulars and 10 rookies, that should be a good balance and would make pretty much everybody happy.

It has NEVER been on regulars and tired-ass veterans...never. Not once.
Look back to see when ratings started to drop--it is all about poor casting that has now created a desperate need for themes

It never is.... every season has had at least one rookie make the final.

Battle of the Exes 1 was close to it.
And look the numbers of Battle of the Exes 1. It doesn't look like MTV made a mistake there to me...

Exes is the only one that techincally didn't have a first timer make a final. This nonsense that rookies always go home first is just that. ****, see Dustin & Jess getting sent in first this year

Yeah. I wouldn't mind seeing a change in that practice.
I'm not saying all rookies but I'm saying all new schoolers. Because lets face it the chances of seeing new old schoolers is slim to none. Its gonna be the same old same old and I'm sick and unimpressed with it. So a season with all new schoolers that include vets and rookies would be nice. Just one season not them all.
Lets see how they would do politically with Bananas/Wes/CT there and them kissing their *****.

I think the majority would like a change of pace. Just not too confident that we will get one.

Majority on this site or majority of the fans/casual viewers?

They pretty much tried with Seasons and got the worst rating imaginable...largely because Wes left first.

True. But I remain hopeful. Even the new schoolers want a challenge that doesn't include washed up faces.

But there was a point were that was true. Look at Fresh Meat 1, The Duel, Cutthroat, Rivals 2, Exes 1, and Exes 2..Those are all seasons were rookies got the shaft first(and if it wasn't first then it was at least 2 rounds after that so still early). yes there are who get through and make it to the final but there are just as many who are on the first flight home.

Bananas/Wes/CT (or Paula/Sarah) if they're not there, Leroy/Zach/Jordan/Reily (or CaraMaria/Nany) will take control of the game and BMP/MTV won't do a challenge without at least three of them in it.

But that was different. We didn't know them then. However, a challenge with a young/fresh cast from FM2-Skeletons now with the right theme I think it will work because we are familiar with those faces and they have grown a huge following since.

I'm ***uming that washed-up mean old-schoolers like Veronca/Beth/Derrick/Abram correct? if that's true then yeah I would agree. If they're looking for old-schoolers then I think they should get people who haven't been on a whole lot of shows. People like Frank(Las Vegas 1) and Ruthie fit that perfectly. The only excpetion for me would be Mark and that's because he's not going to do anything else put plant himself fimrly up Backpack's *** and that ******* doesn't need anymore allies.

Fresh meat 1 is a horrible example, they wanted to get rid of the Austin alliance not just because they were rookies.
If the rookies don't want to be first than they should try winning a **** elimination instead of whining.

I'd be okay with that as long as they have opposition and they are pushed to fight for their chance at the money.

Not definite but there's a good chance Cooke makes it on this season.
This already makes the next challenge good. I love Cooke
