Not really defending Jay & Jenna, but just wondering why they couldn't just do the "30 minute time limit" thing at the drinking checkpoint? Like if they couldn't do it then just move on after 30 minutes, since they do that for every other checkpoint, and then let them continue?

Theres no defending jay, he was a non factor all season, who provided very little in competive edge, or plot wise, his commentaries were more miss than hit ( occasionally he was funny once in a blue moon) but overall it was ****** that he got this gift of a spot, because it made for lousy t.v.

As far as the mountain is concerned, there's a designed region for them to climb up. You can't "fall off" a mountain unless youre on a cliff lol. I suppose you could fall down, but based on what was shown on TV, it's pretty apparent that even if you collapsed you wouldn't actually go tumbling down that particular mountain lol.

Yes. Jay mentally quit. However, when you are partnered with someone like Jenna who would rather walk and "play a scratch off", it kind of leads to a defeatest attitude. If she had been gung ho and pushing him all the way there, I think he would not have given up as easily. I just think he felt like, "Why do this? Jenna will just quit on me later anyway." Jenna is as much at fault for them quitting as Jay was.
Your treating it like this was big easy or abrham who actually could not go on..... there was nothing preventing him from finishing the drink except himself... your giving his explanation WAAAAY to much credit.
