uh, ever heard of Bill Simmons? He's one of the top analysts for ESPN and covers the NBA finals on ABC every year. He himself has called it the 5th major sport and he runs the Grantland podcast where they talk about the challenge when its on. I'd say he's 'remotely involved in sports'

Interesting. The Challenge used to be so huge. The ratings were incredible back in the golden era. I remember when literally everyone I knew would watch it and talk about it. Now, some of my friends and family members who used to be fans of the show are like "The Challenge is still on TV?" whenever I mention it lol

And, aside from the first one she really made no contribution to any of the other domes she was in (and that might even be generous). She lost her portion of the eating and pretty much watched while Adam did the other stuff. I guess technically she pulled a little and handed him the crates, but you could've subbed her in for any other girl and you would've gotten the same contribution or better. The only day challenge she did well at was the one that required no ability (the second one). I think she was the worst girl last season by a longshot.
