Why did he get f'ed though? They had the wall part which vince supposedly was killing, and cara has said she is horrible at puzzles as well and has always said that. where is the edge? So it had some physicality to it at least. I mean a puzzle is a crapshoot, but if vince went in to represent his team, would he have had much conidence in him in anything after what he did al season? the only real way he woudl have been happy is obviously if htey won, and if he competed, and it was physical. But sorry he can't get what he wants all the time. Just like production didn't "make the exile just for him" they didn't just change the rules to spite him.  I always get the sense tht he feels production screws him over , but in reality other than cutthroat i cant think of another time that they have. I can say he has had far more breaaks than "****** over" moments on these shows. I feel like he showed class when he lost, than basically said how it's a **** shamn passive aggresively that he coudlt put it all on the line and "wasn't given a real chance" to win it becuase he sucks at puzzles. Well he just won his last puzzle elimination so maybe the producers thought he woudl win this too, i mean he won his last puzzle, cara has she ever? so if anything, they prob figured he would beat cara in a puzzle. if we want to do conspiracy theories. Honestly with bananas record of coming through in the clutch andhe  beat ct in a puzzle recently, and cara's record of not winning with a rookie partner, i bet they thought bananas had the edge going in.

I don't mean to say that production intentionally screwed him over. I don't think they did. I think they arbitrarily made some changes at a random point in the game that RESULTED in screwing him. I don't think it was targeted (like I do the backpacking incident)...that's just the way it broke. This is what I think screwed him (and again, production didn't do it on purpose)

1.) They randomly switched from having gendered elimination days to not. There had just been a male day. It should have been a women's day. This potentially hurt both Cory and Johnny.

2.) Paired eliminations. Especially in an elimination with two teams without same genders. Production was going to pick that elimination based on the teams that went in. Had Jenna been voted in I HIGHLY doubt they would've given them something with a wall smash when one team has Jamie and the other has Brianna. Again, not screwing Johnny specifically, but production having their fingers in the outcome too much. They likely had 3 eliminations ready: One for same gendered vs. mixed, one for pair of guys vs pair of girls, and one for the same makeup of a team. And they were all likely to neutralize any physical advantage the guys have over the girls.

I don't really have much of a complaint about the game itself because no elimination is completely fair and balanced. I think there was some benefit to Cara being smaller so Jaime could get her through faster, but that just is what it is. It was more the circumstances leading up to the game that I think hurt him. But again, I don't think they were TRYING to **** him over...it just happened that way and I don't see any problem in him pointing that out.

That's a dumb position to take. He, and all of the other people, are employed by the show. They sat him down and told him they were interviewing him about his elimination. He was supposed to go mute? Tell them he didn't want to talk? Say next question? There was no next question...they were there to talk about his elimination. It's like when they were asking Jessica about the Johnny/Nia fight on the Portland aftershow and she kept saying no comment. Coral called her out and said well...you're here to be answering questions and to have an opinion. It'd be one thing if he were just spewing off about it...but the company that employed him sat him down for an interview on the specific topic and he answered the questions.

I'm not saying don't talk about it at all. If they're asking him about the elimination then obviously he can say how he felt since that's the whole point of the interview. My point is is that what he said is whining  for the reasons I stated. He can be annoyed and mad about it all he wants but oh well. Cards didn't stack in his favor and thats on him and not anyone else.

Well the cards not stacking in his favor isn't on him though is it? Production stacks the cards and they either help you or hurt you...he has no control over that. It wasn't his choice that they changed the format and guys were eligible for elimination that day. Or that he got a puzzle. Or that Cara had some small edge. Or that there was some production subjectivity on the elimination game played period.Cara 100% won that game fair and square, absolutely no question...but Johnny got ****** by some arbitrary changes. If your point is that everyone can potentially get ****** and it just happened to be him this time and he should just take it on the chin I can get on board with that. But just because anyone can get ****** over doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to point it out when it happens. Wes has done it, Sarah's done it, Cara's done it, they all have at some point.

That's my point exactly. And again..I'm not saying noone can talk about getting screwed if they were legit ****** in the *** like Wes was last season then yeah..feel free to speak on it. Espcially if you're asked to do so in an interview.

I don't even get how he was screwed honestly. I mean yeah the format changed suddently but he still had a chance to keep himself in the game and he didn't do it. That's on him. Not production. He wasn't screwed at all IMO.

I see your point on some of the stuff JL8, i guess i just mean those same type random switches have helped him many times in different challenges get his wins. SO i guess when it doesn't go his way he has to speak up about it and "whine" in a way or passive aggressively take shots at production. Even if asked about it, he can just say you know cards didn't fall for me this time, cara deserved it. the end(llike you agreed he shoudl just take it on the chin). To me he  cleary wants it out there he got a bad break and was "screwed" by it.

In a perfect situation it would've just been left as it was on the show. He lost graciously and congratulated Cara...but he was asked and I didn't think his response was outrageous...he just talked about it.

And in terms of twists helping him in the past, I think that's fair in a few instances...but the people who were on the negative side of those complained too. Wes and Theresa (appropriately) complained about what happened with the Ex-ile twist, Kenny and Wes complained about the time being shrunk on Rivals 1, Jordan and Marlon complained about not getting to do the whole final on Rivals 2, everyone on the Island complained about everything. Everyone on the show is out for number one and many have made a stink about getting screwed.

If they ever did a Bloodlines 2, I hope it's two teams but have it mixed with alumni & bloodlines rather than alumni vs bloodline.

When Bananas lost to Leroy (and Nany lost to Theresa) at f4 last season after coming back, Bananas posted an x-ray of his broken rib on twitter saying that's why he lost. Come to find out, it was image used from a google search engine. ****

i feel like they should have let jill compete with cohutta against thomas and stephen if they knew there would be a coed elim later on

yeah I think they should have always have the option to let the other *** compete. Yes they have a disadvantage but it is there voice, Cara, and Jill could have taken some of the guys for sure

Same, I honestly think Jil would have destroyed Stephen in that elimination with Cohutta and Thomas lol

When they had a guy/guy against a guy/girl the only real way to make it a leveled challenge was to make it a puzzle. I knew as soon as TJ announced all 4 were competing that that's what it'd be. I've been here for a few months now and everyone who's seen me post knows Johnny B is my favorite, but for this circumstance they had to do it.

obviously cara is smaller than jamie and vince so it wouldn't have been fair to put her in with something physical

but in the cohutta/jill elimination, stephen and thomas are smaller guys and that elimination was mostly down to who was faster and could get to the ball first. so i feel they should have let jill compete and let everyone compete.

Ha Shane semi spoiled he makes the final since he said who will take it home and didn't tag annessa or Rianna in it.

forgot the picture

Scroll down to find it lolhttps://m.facebook.com/mtvthechallenge

I cannot believe someone that stupid is alive.

Just because some were speculating on it, the previews and after show for the night imply that this episode does NOT end in a to be continued with the elimination

yeah you're right. I was thinking because feb 10th said they start part 1 that the finale was 2 episodes but I think it was just poor wording.

F you! Everyone that doubt me that this final had beer in it lol

F you! Everyone that doubt me that this final had beer in it lol

LOL. **** em, PR.

Laurel and Aneesa subbing eachother on Twitter lol Ready for them to win a Rivals season together already.

Lol on instagram, theres a video of aneesas oscar performance and arissa commented saying "wait..." Wonder what shes talking about

I am glad that the source that told me about the final set up was right, it looks great

I am excited about the final and nervous ® since it looks just like amazing race. I love that they need to chug beer. It looked like seasons 2 where if they miss they need to drink except different thing and beef not milk. Like if they had to chug like 4 beer glasses and run it would be real hard

It's Germany idk how anyone would be surprised about the beer lol.

BTW what happened to Cooke? She was practically carrying Cara Maria in Rivals 2 and disappeared since then?

she always flip flops on whether she will come back. She always says no but during some challenges she will tweet how much she wished she was on it and how good she is at the particular skill. Personally I wish we could get her back. There's very few elite female competitors that actually bring a personality to the show in my opinion. I don't know why she has said no when Dustin and Heather are not on and those were the people she had issues with. I'd take her over Emily S or Laurel any day.

i think she likes the challenges itself, but not the drama tbh. like if she could just test all the challenges she would, but she wouldn't want to deal with the drama the house has.

where? i see what laurel is saying on her twitter page about aneesa without directly tweeting her but what has aneesa been saying?
