Has anyone been to a casting call this season yet? Any insight, or is it the same ol' same ol?I'm going on wednesday. There's a lot of people already being told to make Home Tapes, so I've been watching them online. There's a lot of trans people too!
I was asked if I knew anyone transgendered. There's been a focus on the LGBT casting pool based on things I've heard.
I would love someone flamboyant in a house with someone who is gay but has institutalized homophobia - AKA "Masc for Masc" "I only date MEN" "No fems" etc..

that would be interesting... or one gay guy and a lesbian... for some reason, clashes always come out of that mix lol Did Frank and Sam get along? i don't remember haha
Just like straight people gays have many different personalities lifestyles and subcultures. We don't all fit into one category. And I think it's time Society realized that.
That's not my point. My point is that if we can watch TV depicting only heterosexuals, then I feel like a straight person should be able to sit through one TV show that focuses on LGBT

*shrugs*. It reminds me of years ago when people on here were like "I don't want a majority black season..I wouldn't watch that". My question is always "why?"

I feel the real world has always been pretty diverse.. with race, sexuality, and personality. There are definitely still some things they could do but an "all" this or "all" that type of season would not be the real world to me. It would be something else. I like the mix they have, especially with the ppl this season.
Imagine...7 LGBT roommates, living in a remote location..IN ASIA. lol. Of course this is all total specualation. I remeber years ago producation thought about doing an LGBT vs Straight Challenge. Back in like 06.

I agree. A balance of both would be cool though so it interest every sexuality.
We've had seasons with "all" straight people multiple times. And they come in all shapes ,sizes, and backgrounds, just like gays.
sure they've had "all" straight people (i mean its rare but yeah, back in the 90s)... but they weren't all straight and white now were they? They don't have to cater to everyone every season. And they have shown many gays in all shapes/sizes/backgrounds.. but your idea is just not gonna happen (7 LGBT ppl)..you're better off watching Logo or Faking It. I would be okay with 3-4 LGBT in a RW house tho
if it happened, I wouldnt trip. I'm not saying "OMG IT WOULD BE AMAZING!! IT BETTER HAPPEN!" But I wouldnt mind if the majoirty of the cast were LGBT. All I'm saying is that if it's going with a "twist" theme, thats pretty normal for todays standards. Id just be me locked in a house with Brett Everett but since that aint happening.. I'll hold out hope for the remote location.

Ew, no thank you. I remember there was a really gay *** guy on youtube who tried out for season 31, he was black had a sucker and was positive and he looks like he would've been in the house just to **** I'm trying to remember his name.

Brett Everett is passe. You are way to fine for that let down.

you do know Faking It exists lol.. its great
You lie.
I do not.. the first season was great!! haven't really watched Season 2 tho
I'm not sure if I'm reaching or not but the first question that the casting director asked everyone today was "gay or straight". If you said that you were gay or ******** she asked you more questions

thats interesting. If it's lgbt, i feel like they're going to cast 2 transgender people (M2F) and (F2M), a Dustin 2.0, a closeted person who comes out on the show, bi person, a lesbian, really feminine guy

That's weird. I just don't know how a LGBT season would work. Maybe do 4 straight and 4 LGBT...

I'm gay as ****, so that works. Can I private message you?
Focus on LGBT? Yaaaas, *****.
Hope we get some ******** *****essss.

Frank did an interview saying that they didn't get along but they tried to edit it like they did.
In american society , in general, gays and lesbians don't really mix.
An all LGBT season would be pretty legit, but is that really a "twist"?
I hope it's not an all lgbt season
...Although we've had to watch 12+ all heterosexual seasons. *sips tea*

i think thats becasue its depicting the "real world".... lgbt make up only 10-20% of the world

Bye, they can put that on Logo.

gays and lesbians don't mix. did you or do you not remember Glenn and Beth Anthony?

If it's LGBT maybe I'll apply lol

I personally prefer a twist that doesn't restrict anyone from the show like GBGH. That's the one thing I hated about Skeletons and Ex-plosion.
